I love the fact this is like an apartment and hotel in one. Hence the name Aparthotel. It was very spacious. It was also very close to everything from the train station to the Tesco for milk etc, to the shopping area, subway, river bank etc. The only issues I had was that the shower would not stay up on the vertical bar as someone had previously snapped off the tightener and probably forgotten to report it. Also, the bathroom sink took forever to drain. I screwed off the plug and found all kinds of debris blocking the hole from hair to other horrid things. I reported it. I just wish the aparthotel was carpeted so that you didn’t hear the guests upstairs dancing with their chairs all night long (and the cleaners in the mornings!). Apart from this, it’s a lovely spacious aparthotel. Oh I actually left something behind, but phoned up and the gentleman got it for me, so I had to walk all the way back!!! My fault entirely and I’m grateful for him getting this expensive item back for me.

I love these apartments. I have stayed here 3 times now and they remain my go-to accommodation whenever I am in Glasgow. The rooms are stylish, practical and functional with a lovely spacious bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a short stay and the staff are fantastic (both reception and cleaning). Particular shout out to Helena who in my opinion gives exceptional service and is the consummate professional at all times. I also found the cleaning staff to be very friendly and helpful. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble for them despite being under tremendous pressure to turn the rooms around as quickly as possible. ALL credit to them, because they are every bit as important as the front of house staff are to the smooth running of a business like this - and yet all-too-often their effort goes completely unnoticed and yet what they do is CRUCIAL to the success of this business.
