Easy to find , very good location, check in was quick, we booked an executive king room , I was surprised it was on the 1st floor , I had booked this room as the description and photos stated bath /shower combination, however it was just a shower, the city view was of the bar next door and a busy street below (not great) the room was clean but look dated . It rained most of the time which gave us one hell of a noise outside of the window constant loud drip noise , I didn't sleep till 3 am due to drip noise and noise from the street outside , you could also hear other rooms using the bathroom at night . Bed was not the most comfy either. We usually stay at the novotel Paddington village which is lovely but wanted to be closer to centre this time, this one isn't as good, we also had issues with the key card we had to swipe it about 10 times before door to hallway would open , mentioned everything when checked out (I wasn't asked how was your stay) but I was told I should have requested a bath as not in every room, and yes these rooms can get noisy, I think if we were to stay in the centre again I would try a different hotel, even though I'm a member of this group

I've just stayed with a group - 17 of us - and we chose to eat at the hotel each evening. For 4 nights, the only vegetables were cauliflower and broccoli, sometimes potatoes/chips. The cauliflower and broccoli were often very hard. On our last night, we complained and asked for peas which were provided! What excitement. The starters were always salad and on the first night there was a very nice looking potato salad. I couldn't even cut the potatoes. The food overall was very disappointing - it seemed that they weren't able to cater for a number of people. Some of us had trouble with the room keys when using the lifts and door locks. The staff were always helpful, the rooms were clean and it was nice to have a fridge and safe. It's in a good position, very near to restaurants, shops and the Albert Docks. I wouldn't stay there again though - sorry!

Good location, room was fair at best

The hotel is well-situated but the room left a lot to be desired. The floor of the bathroom had cracks fixed with duct tape and the setup of the toilet and shower was awkward at best. (Having to touch two sets of door handles after using the toilet just to wash hands is unsanitary). And the shower being elevated so high made it very awkward and borderline dangerous to get in and out. The living area was comfortable, the wifi worked, and the hotel felt safe so I can't say I was unsatisfied, but I would probably look for another hotel if I came back.

I have no problem with the staffs. They are very good. But the shower head is kind of broken, breakfast sausage was hard and dry. Not something I expected from a 4 stars hotel.

We truly appreciate your constructive feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
