A shame about the breakfast. Watered down juice. Tinned fruit for the fruit salad. Coffee machines out of order. Staff surly and rushing you around (tried to clear my table whilst I was in the queue for coffees due to broken machines). Room comfortable but that area is noisy.

The room was large and comfortable, the service was friendly and with no waiting. The breakfast was terrible with sausages that looked like they had been there for hours - not worth £16 at all. Without that criticism it would have been a 9 or 10

Was a great location and overall a satisfactory stay. However rooms weren’t ready for us on arrival at check in time, had to wait which wasn’t great after a long travel with kids also. Secondly, family was slip up on different floors and was advised that there weren’t executive rooms on the same floor which wasn’t true. (Maybe these were occupied already but this wasn’t stated) great facilities and easy to book swimming and sauna - there seemed to be a lot of people in the pool at the same time which did not bother us but if anyone is looking to swim lengths of the pool this wasn’t achievable at the time we booked. We were not made aware of work being carried out on the lift next to us which wasn’t pleasant being awoke to lots of noise either. Otherwise everything else was great.

Room was basic, toilet in a separate room to the sink and shower! Cracked tiles on the floor, grubby marks on the carpet. TV remote had food smudged into it and the curtains did not fit the window!

Hard, uncomfortable mattress to sleep on. No actual air con. Dusty and damaged/stained furniture. Have to book a time to use the pool?????? Novotel near the Royal Liverpool Hospital is leagues ahead of this one, just further out from city. Short bus ride away if uou dont want to walk. The only highlight is the location + its cheaper than the other one, but i can see why.

On a two nights stay of a Saturday and Sunday we never had the room serviced and had to request clean towels for second day and then on checkout was not even asked if my stay was ok . Returning to the hotel late Saturday night requested a bottle of water only to be told it was £5.00 pure rip off after paying £381.00 for room only for 2 nights Although the night porter was kind and got me some filtered water.

Stayed for 2 nights. The king sized bed was very comfortable but the sofa bed not so. The room was big enough for 3 guests with small luggage. The location is superb. Near the bus station and the main shopping area. Special mention of the gentleman manning the reception at night. He was very understanding of our needs.

Clean and tidy and central to the city but hotel needs an update. very hot room at night and very noisy in the rooms which overlook the car park and Tesco's lorries unloading in the early hours are so load banging and clanging. Some breakfast staff look like they cant be bothered to help and are just waiting for the pay at the ned of the week!! would try elsewhere next time.

We stayed for 3 nights with the final night being a surprise for my partner. The staff were so friendly and really understanding of the surprise. Rooms were clean and the location of the hotel was fantastic parking right next door aswell. We have said if we return then we would stay here again
