Your rooms are advertised as Air Conditioned, but upon arrival in room 139 the air con was not working. I contacted reception and was informed the system was broken and no other rooms are available. Given this was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel, I would expect a full refund as you have not delivered as described.
I am sorry that the air conditioning in room 139 was not working during your stay, particularly as this was an important part of your decision to book with us. I understand the frustration of arriving expecting a room with working air conditioning and finding that this was not the case.

Although I was left a box of chocolates to apologise for the used condom wrapper next to the bed, this did not detract from the grotty room and the fact that my room service food was lost. It was a good job I had the chocolates; I had to wait so long for my lost room service that I need something to sustain me.
Finding a used condom wrapper beside the bed is an unacceptable lapse in room cleanliness, and I understand why the chocolates could not make up for the overall condition of the room. Having your room service order then go missing and leave you waiting for your food only added to an already poor experience.
I am sorry that the stay fell so far below a reasonable standard. The 2/10 rating is understandable given the issues you have described, and I appreciate you taking the time to explain what happened.

I was very disappointed with my stay. There was a leakage in the room, which caused the carpet to become wet and made the room uncomfortable. On top of this, the AC was not working, and the room became extremely hot. These issues seriously affected my stay and made the room unsuitable for a comfortable stay.
Given the condition of the room and the inconvenience caused, I would like to request a refund or appropriate compensation for my stay. I hope you will look into this matter seriously and resolve it promptly.

I am sorry that room 422 was not in a suitable condition during your stay. A leak leaving the carpet wet, combined with the air conditioning not working and the room becoming excessively hot, would understandably make it very difficult to have a comfortable night.

Booked assuming parking was included, it's not it's an extra £10per night (didn't see it on the booking page), the swimming pool is only open until 7pm on the weekends and kids arent allowed after 6pm (again, didn't see this information on the booking), the room smelt a little funky and the heating system made noise all night, and the neighbours weren't particularly quiet. But the staff were friendly and tried to do everything they could for us, breakfast was lovely, and the restaurant was very nice.

We chose this Hotel for ease of access form the M5 and for the Cricket. My wife joined me on this trip and was keen to use the leisure facilities on the day of our arrival and day of departure. unfortunately the key elements were shut for refurbishment which we had not picked up at the time of booking or been advised of before our arrival.

Me and my husband stayed here for one night. A little gateway from our usual family life. We were given the privilege room which was really nice and spacious. Everything was clean and perfect. The staff in the restaurant were very attentive. It was just the perfect day for us. Thank you. Will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

I want to preface by saying that the front desk staff were absolutely lovely and did their best to accommodate us and make up for the inconvenience.
I had booked a double room for 2 nights. When we arrived, I noticed immediately that the bathroom door and floor had long hairs left on them. We were moved to a different room for one night and that bathroom had some kind residue on two of the towels. By that point were were too exhausted to go through anything else so we just but the bullet and stayed. We had to pack our things in the morning and store it all in the lobby. Moved back to our original room that night and still found smaller hairs in the bathroom and a stain on the sheets. Plus the air con wasn’t working. Again, the staff I interacted with were lovely, but the situation itself was not
The front desk team will appreciate the kind words, but I agree that their efforts could not make up for what was happening with the rooms. Having to move rooms, pack your belongings away and then return to the original room only to find further cleanliness issues is far from the straightforward stay you should have had.
The hairs in the bathrooms, residue on the towels and stained bedding are particularly disappointing, and the air conditioning not working added another problem on top. I am sorry that, despite the team doing their best to help, the overall experience was so frustrating and inconvenient.

We stayed for one night, it suited us to be a little out of the city, but it was still a only short drive into the centre of Birmingham. The room was a step up from a budget hotel and the beds were very comfy. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and very attentive staff. Didn't get chance to go in the pool but that is a nice extra if you have time. I'd definitely recommend staying here!
A one-night stay that gave you the right balance of being away from the city centre while still within easy reach sounds like it worked well.
The attentive service from the breakfast team is lovely to see mentioned, and hopefully you will have time to try the pool on your next visit. Thank you for the recommendation and the perfect 10/10.

warm welcome and clear instructions on arrival was great.
Lovely room and bathroom (water temperature for shower is not regulated by thermostat so goes from warm, hot to scorching and back quite unexpectedly, so need to be careful !).
Good food from the restaurant (a bit expensive for what you get) and breakfast had a great selection.
A warm welcome, a good room and plenty of choice at breakfast are all good to see. I am glad the overall stay was comfortable and that you enjoyed the food, although I understand your point about the restaurant feeling a little expensive for what you received.
The shower temperature is the main concern in your comments. Going unexpectedly from warm to scorching is not something anyone wants to deal with, and I appreciate the warning you have highlighted for us.

My room was super dirty all the walls had dirty marks on them and the ceiling was covered in cobwebs. The bathroom was no better

My stay was very nice. Just one problem. The shower and hot water was cold on one of the two mornings I stayed. It was Room 444.
A very welcome 9/10, and it is good to know you otherwise had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the breakfast. The lack of hot water on one of your mornings is certainly not ideal, though, particularly when it affected the shower.

Pool and changing area are in really poor condition.

A great location for WBA GAMES
