Friendly service, clean room. Thought the standard double room was really only a single with a double bed in it. One chair, a shelf rather than a desk. Nice relaxed atmosphere in the bar but not enough staff. Not their fault at all, but far too long to wait to be served.

A disappointing stay as 3 out of the 4 nights were extremely uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, due to the works that were going on in the hotel, I did not have hot water for 3 of the days that I stayed. It was extremely cold as well, with temperatures dipping and the AC stopped working. All in all, I did not have a good experience at the hotel.

The room was nice. The heating did in the room did not work. We went to the spa but the sauna was not working and the steam room was very bad. In the pool, there was a child swimming lesson so it was very noisy. Brekafast was very basic. Overall, the stay was okay.

Very comfortable, warm, affordable and offers great value for your money!

First time at this hotel. But having paid nearly double rate for a 4* hotel in Leeds and found the experience disappointing, this was a nice surprise. Nice size room, lovely and warm. Food was good and inexpensive. Overall, a good choice.

Mostly very good , welcome was first class, new beds very comfortable but room was quite small. The only option was overhead shower which I didn't like. Breakfast was not good, no butter available and of the hot buffet choice 3 things had run out as last sitting was 8.30 due to ongoing works. Restaurant lacks atmosphere in my opinion. Good value, well situated just off the Motorway and a special mention to Yvonne!

I booked one room for me for 7nights and another one for my friend for 6 nights in App. Also I showed my membership to the reception. but there are two weeks, my points have not been accumulated yet. I sent several emails: but no reply from the customer service and the hotel !

We were not impressed with the room and the overall service that we received when e stayed, we was not told of any hotel refurbishment during the booking or when i called to enquire about some of the facilities.

Conveniently placed, good car parking. Heating not working downstairs due to refurb - not comfortable. Waited 30 mins for meal which came 2 meals at a time for a party of 4, with a 10 minute wait between top ups (forgot side dishes too) even when bar empty. One member of party had to change rooms due to faulty door only to be disturbed by member of staff entering room at 6am. Showers and sinks faulty - reported to reception.

Overall 1 night stay comfortable & receptionist helpful. But bathroom sink & shower faulty, unexpected staff entry into room during night. Very lengthy delay for food where meals not arriving together, no heating downstairs due refurb. Parking good.

Cold on dining and lounge areas as boiler being repaired. Heaters dotted around made no difference.

Bought glass of wine was£8 !!!!! No one around at breakfast to clear away plates so moved ourselves. Reception staff very friendly. Bedroom very nice .

ONLY TWO REDEEMING ASPECTS: your extremely calm, pleasant Reception Assistant to whom we had to return from the 4th floor at least 8 if not more, times as each new problem arose or was not satisfactorily resolved. Below is a summary. Having stayed last November when the Hotel was under the name of Radison Park Hotel and was of excellent standard and lovely atmosphere, exceptionally helpful staff, comfort and food, I decided to book again, back in August. On arrival there was refurbishment in progress, it was very cold and we were advised to bring our coats, if we were using the dining room. Everywhere was extremely cold. There was no working central or portable heating, only one set of towels and the water was cold. There was minimal space, even for one guest, to place their washing gear, clothing and towels in the bathroom. I had NOT been informed that the name of the Radison had been changed several times, which was most disconcerting and led to much confusion locating the hotel. Also I had NOT been notified in advance about the refurbishment inconveniences. At the very least we should have been offered the option of alternative appropriate accommodation or cancellation with full refund. At the very least we expect a profound and professional apology and I should have been given a FULL refund.

Staff very good, particularly the Afro- Caribbean lady (I apologise I don’t know her name) at the bar who, though working alone and dealing with a lot of guests, was absolutely fantastic. The hotel seemed to be undergoing an fair amount of renovation and the bar did seem like it was missing sofas from the bar. On the whole a pleasant enough start

Hotel is having building work carried out. The reception was full of bollarded off areas. It looked awful. The public areas and the restaurant was freezing with no heating. Dinner took ages to arrive and I sat there freezing cold.

Check in. Lady who checked me in very efficient but it was busy - she asked for assistance but didn’t get any while I was there. Room. Refurbished. OK for budget hotel but Premier Inns set the standard in this sector. Comfortable bed. Public areas: reception being refurbed. Bar area way way too bright. Dazzling.and gave me a headache. Furniture either very low level or high level poser tables. What’s wrong with normal height tables and chairs? Breakfast OK. Good range. Small things like bread through ancient toaster 3 times before browning. No mushrooms.Etc. took shine off a bit. Didn’t use gym. Plenty of parking.

After a long flight which landed at 17.30, and with a fairly long drive ahead of us to Tenby, we were very pleased that we had pre-booked a room at the Mercure. Our pleasure was amplified when we opened the door to our very nice room - and multiplied when we tried our first G & T, served by Micael in the very pleasant Bar/Restaurant. Dinner was tasty, if a tad expensive, and the beds were really comfortable so that we had a splendid night's sleep. In the morning, the in-room coffee and tea tray was very welcome - once we had found a socket in which to plug the kettle! The Bijou bathroom provided a really good shower, and breakfast was very nice - it would have rated higher but it was quite cold since the buffet presentation was not adequately heated. The staff were pleasant and efficient, the hotel was sparklingly clean and the free parking was a bonus. We are satisfied customers who will certainly return

We chose to stay at the Mercure after a long flight to Birmingham and before a long drive to Tenby. What a good decision! The room was excellent, the first G & T in the bar was splendidly served by Micael and Dinner was simple but tasty. The beds were very comfortable, so we both slept well, the bijou bathroom provided a really good shower and breakfast was pretty good - it could have been warmer. Satisfied guests who will visit again.

As above all staff were excellent. Because of the extensive building work in the hotel the guest experience was somewhat underwhelming. I had 2 nights and couldn't fault the staff but due to the renovations there was limited functionality in the hotel area. The main problem was the breakfast, which on both days was stone cold.
