Disgusted with your leadership who by not making any effort to explain to me why the website continues to claim to have a pool available. Despite several requests via Viktoria at reception, who was excellent but embarrassed and let down by both Mr. Gazin Dait and Mr. Bingy Dehuzy.

Upon arrival our allocated rooms where not the interconnecting rooms that we had requested. Not the end of the world but Yvonne went out of her way to find us interconnecting rooms, she is a real asset to your team

Was disappointed that the pool was closed for renovation and no info on that in advance. I would probably not have travelled. Hotel is well located, very well renovated, clean. Breakfast was excellent. Free wifi also good. It is a pity that after being renovated the room has a carpet, rather than wood. It was inevitably stained. Small point, but I was allocated a room with communicating door. Guest should always be asked beforehand if ok. Liked the hotel and would stay again.

The room was cold, air conditioning didn’t work. Maintenance came into my room 3 times to fix it. Gave me a plug in heater which was much use. Eventually I had to ask to be moved. I was going out that evening and didn’t have much time so between getting a shower and getting dressed the maintenance guy was in n my room.

I stayed in room 332. I was working in the Birmingham area and was told about your hotel by another colleague of mine. decided to book and pleasantly surprised from the overall look of the hotel when first entering. I was extremely tired so had dinner and when straight to bed. Around 10pm I was woken but loud shouting and banging, I put this down to the bad weather, I was mistaken, it was room 330. I three seperate occasions from 10pm until 3am on sunday morning i was woken up by loud swearing, shouting, banging, arguments in the corridor. Subsequently I had to ring the reception on all occasion from mobile phone to get someone to diffuse/calm the situation down. Absolutely ridiculous. Getting up on Sunday morning and not in the best of moods, I decided to shower up and get out, upon showering I realised my towels had what looked like makeup on them. Again having to ring reception from my mobile phone and request clean Towels. When I reported the problems to front desk on my departure, clearly the lady wasn't bothered about the issues I had.

Good stay, friendly staff, good food and clean rooms. Downfall - did not know the leisure centre was out of use until i arrived (booked this hotel specifically because of these facilities) and the temporary gym had broken machines, no water and nothing to wipe the machine down with.

Overall a very enjoyable stay... public areas and bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard. Restaurant fine, breakfast excellent value for a cooked meal. Just needs the swimming pool and spa/gym to be completed and re-opened in order to offer the complete package.

This hotel has recently been taken over by Mercure, the new decor is more modern, the bed was comfy. Unfortunately the shower was unusable, no hot water at all running from it and the 'fix' suggested did not work either, there was no plug for the bath. This led to 2 days without being able to take a shower. I was told the problem was known about and I met others at the reception desk complaining about it. It is not acceptable to put guests up in a room where it is not possible to shower or bathe. There was no compensation offered. The pool and gym have been closed since mid December for refurbishment, thought there was no evidence of any work going on. Breakfast was standard budget hotel buffet fare with rubber scrambled eggs, bland cereal and hot drinks machine. Staff were friendly. The hotel is extremely well placed with few decent competitors so I fear that there is little incentive to improve the poor experience.

Terrible , honestly it is a disrepute to accor group.

From start-- 1. Charged wrongly--when booked as a group-- we were charged more in the name of discount . A day before tried to contact the hotel -- was advised -- no one present now -- so will be contacted later-- a phone call at 4 pm on the day of arrival -- saying we are full-- if you want - you can cancel. 2. Enter - the room - AC not working-- when reported -- Response -- Oh sorry -- has been reported -- it wont be done today . 3. Late night -- Some one knocks your room at 11 pm -- when trying to sleep-- and then a phone call from reception for some nonsense reason. 4. Overnight -- had dinner from the hotel-- felt sick after having the fish and fries 4. Morning -- - no hot water- when reported being sai d-- oh ya-- many rooms are reporring it . When complained about the food -- i was asked to go to another room to talk to the manager. As i was in a rush-- i said -- please just let me check out -- i was hold for another 10 minutes - delaying me . Do i need to write more -- frustratingly bad . I was staying with Accor groups mostly -- then changed to renaissance hotels -- and this was my first again to start staying with accor -- but not good
