Our trip to the Mercure was fantastic. We were welcomed by the wonderful team and then settled into our spacious room. We had a lovely drink in the bar and a great breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend the hotel to a friend and I’m already looking forward to visiting again!

Room was nice but there was a rumbling noise all night from somewhere which was annoying, the beds were not as comfy as they normally are, but other than that the overnight stay was good.

Reception helpful and welcoming, rooms well maintained and clean. Only issue is you risk your life crossing the roundabout above the motorway if coming from the station (The Hawthornes), but out of the control of the hotel.....

Staff were welcoming, breakfast was good, although no black pudding and no pastry options. The room smelled a bit damp and the air con/heating unit was not working - I reported both of these when I checked out.
