My stay at your hotel was extremely disappointing and fell far below the standard I reasonably expected. Upon my arrival, I was assigned a room where the heat was unbearable and the air was almost impossible to breathe. The fan provided was ineffective and covered in dust. Given the ongoing heatwave, I requested a room change, and the receptionist immediately understood the urgency of the situation. Unfortunately, the replacement room was no better. The air conditioning unit was faulty and produced extremely loud banging noises throughout the night. Even when switched off, it would repeatedly make sudden knocking sounds between approximately 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., waking us several times every night. As a result, we did not enjoy a single uninterrupted night's sleep during our entire stay. I recorded the issue on video and reported it to reception. However, either no effective repair was carried out, or the problem was handled inadequately, as the disturbance continued until the end of our stay. I was also shocked by the treatment I received one evening when I returned to the hotel after the exterior gate had been locked. After ringing the bell, the staff member refused to let me in unless I showed my hotel key card, despite the fact that no other member of staff had ever made such a request during my stay. Do you genuinely believe it is appropriate to leave a woman waiting alone in a poorly lit car park in the middle of the night over such a demand? I found this situation both unnecessary and unacceptable. Overall, I paid €540 for a stay that was marred by poor service, defective facilities, and an indifferent attitude from staff. At no point did I receive a sincere apology, an effective solution, or any form of compensation or goodwill gesture. In light of these serious shortcomings, I believe it is only fair that you offer appropriate compensation. I therefore request that you review my complaint carefully and provide a meaningful commercial gesture reflecting the inconvenience and discomfort I experienced throughout my stay. I look forward to your prompt response.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the tube station and is situated with another 2 hotels. Once we had found the entrance to the hotel, check in was a bit slow, but I think this was down to the computer system. We were allocated a triple room on the ground floor. The room was very basic, but had everything we needed including air conditioning. One of the walls needed some tlc. Breakfast in the morning was continental buffet. Toast, pastries, cereal fruit, jams, yoghurt, cheese, ham and turkey. Fruit juices and coffee. Overall for the price we'd paid it was good.
