The moment I walked in, the lobby had a very unpleasant smell. I checked in, went to my floor, the door to my room wasnt working, I couldnt get in and again, the hallway was smelly as well. I decided to just leave. So i went back down dropped my key and left to get another hotel. I’ve stayed in Ibis budget heathrow and the one in barking is truly disappointing. I’m never coming back again.

The bunkbed was horrendous, the mattress is so fine. Prices for food/drink at the hotel are ridiculous. Closed the seating area at 11pm on a Saturday night.

Left same day checked in, paid double the price to allow our dogs to stay with us. But with how thin the walls are and screaming kids running up and down the hallway, was made impossible for us too stay overnight with child and dogs

Room had a tv that would not turn off. Staff came and tried new batteries and new remotes but we had to move rooms. Next room had no air con but a stand alone unit which we could not use as we needed to charge phones. Had to go and ask for another towel as only one in room. Lots of faff at 2300 when we just wanted to relax. Woken in the night by sirens. The passage between this and the other Ibis is strewn with filth - green mouldy chips, cans, bags of rubbish. It may not be owned by the company but would you leave your doorstep that filthy? The fan in the bathroom was on all the time (no way to turn it off) and it smelt really bad.
