Parking Information Resident Parking: £12 per night for one vehicle occupying a single parking bay. Any additional caravan or attached vehicle will incur a further charge of £12 per night. Coach Parking: £60 per coach when booked alongside a hotel reservation; £70 without a room booking. Reception is open 24/7 which is amazing but if you want to stay at centre of London later at night than you have to take the bus while there is no night tube to Barking. The shop Tesco is basically the next building (open till midnight) to a hotel which is very helpful, especially if you want to save money on breakfast... The rooms were clean, bathrooms were pretty big for Ibis budget hotel and also clean. The only thing we found disturbing is an unpleasant order of sewerage that appeared from time to time in the bathroom.

I had a nightmare experience. The road was closed outside the Hotel. No other access. Had just driven from Nottingham. Needed a good nights sleep. I had to re-book at the IBIS Canary Wharf - which was much more expensive. They only had 1 Twin room left. I checked-in. Cost of room £125. Overnight parking £25. At least they got me a room! I was also given complimentary breakfast because of the drama that I had explained. You can imagine the phone calls I made to try to get to the Budget IBIS in Barking Road, my original booking. Both Mohammed and then Costa were exceptional. They tried their very best to help to work out an alternative route - but, there were no other roads open or accessing Highbridge Rd. All routes were either blocked or inaccessible due to Bus only access i.e. Fleet Rd. Nightmare! I also inadvertently broke the law by driving into a Bus only road - by mistake. The following day, fortuitously I could get to Budget IBIS and was given both a complimentary breakfast and free parking as a form of compensation for the nightmare of the evening of the 28th Sept. I was also given freedom to cancel the 28th without charge. The Hotel were not informed of the closure therefore it was not their fault - but they made me feel a lot better with there kindness and considerate behaviour towards me - I must say, I felt a lot better after both Mohammed's and Costa's kindness. THANK YOU both. Breakfast was exceptional too!

The drain smell was unbearable. I mentioned this to Mary on the desk and she said ‘thats how it is’ and it comes in from outside. There was no mention of the fact i told her we couldnt sleep due to the smell. I mentioned the smell again at a later time and she told me housekeeping will take a look. Luckily on the 2nd night it did not smell as bad.

I was well tended to from check in to check out. I was treated with kindness and respect and each staff member in attendance during my visit catered to my needs with no hesitation. Important because this was my first time visiting London from the USA and I was anxious about how I would be treated coming from there, but any doubt or fears was quickly replaced by welcome and comfort from the hotel staff and I will likely choose the same place if ever I visit again. A good basic hotel, with a comfy bed and pillow, at a very reasonable price, but DO NOT accept any room near Reception because you won't get any sleep, because the staff and, I assume, gusts like to talk loudly all night.

We stayed at ibis budget London Barking for a weekend for the Jay-Z concert and had a lovely stay. We came straight from the airport after our holiday and arrived at around 1pm. Check-in is normally at 3pm, but we were so tired after travelling and the staff noticed this. They kindly gave us a room that was already ready, so we could check in straight away. This was such a big plus for us and we really appreciated the service. For a low-budget hotel, we were genuinely impressed by how welcoming and helpful the service was. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall we had a really pleasant stay. Thank you to the staff for making our arrival so easy after a long journey. We would happily stay again!

I booked my Double room about 6 weeks before this trip. When I arrived, shortly after check-in time. I was given a Twin room. When I asked about this with reception they said they had no way to make it a double. I asked for a double duvet at least, so I could manage - I was given a 3rd single duvet. Entirely unhelpful - If it wasn't because the room was so cheap I would have put up for of a fuss. Room's walls had peeling wallpaper, the Bed's were creaky and felt like they would collapse. Generally quite uncomfortable.
