We loved the hotel, its location and having a small kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was quiet and clean. Our only complaints were hard pillows, and I was told they are all the same also lack of water pressure in the shower. It did say on website that there was alarm clock in room but there was not.

We were very happy with our stay at the Aparthotel Adagio Royal Mile in Edinburgh. It was perfect for exploring the city- walking distance to everything. The amenities were as described and the staff was very helpful. I’d stay here again when visiting Edinburgh.

Have stayed in an Adagio before and like the kitchenette facilities in the room. The room was clean and small attentions to detail were noted (the way the kettle cord was tidily coiled, fridge off until it was needed etc). Excellent location on The Royal Mile - everything in walking distance Great greeting on arrival after midnight - the man on reception was very welcoming

You need to let guests know at the time of check in that they’re getting a handicap room. We were too exhausted from travel to complain and ask for a different room. If we’re staying for 5 or six nights, 2 nespresso pods for the stay is insufficient and why do I have to come get them?

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At Adagio, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. Please allow me to provide some context as to why you may have been provided an accessible room. Our hotel is required to have a number of accessible rooms as per UK government requirements. We aim for these rooms to be inline with the quality expected of our non-accessible rooms so I am sorry this did not match the expectation. I will pass on your comments to the maintenance team to see if we can enhance the counter space options. I am sorry to read that the complimentary Nespresso pods were taken as a negative. By default the rooms come with coffee sachets, milk etc, however as there is a Nespresso machine we do provide 2 complimentary to see if the guests would like them, with the option to purchase more if required. These can also be collected upon check in, however we allow freedom as it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming after getting so much information.
