Excellent location. Exit/entrance right on Royal Mile. Staff we really helpful when we asked for assistance. We loved the apartment style, where you had access to your own kitchen facilities. Great if you want to bring in your own food or a takeaway from one of the many close by food outlets. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights rest. The breakfast area had a very relaxed vib, and having our breakfast here was a nice chilled way to start the morning. The lady who was working the breakfast area was very friendly and overall it was really good.

On the small side, but VERY well thought out design with everything there, and all in the right place, I absolutely loved it. The only issue is maintenance: it was difficult to lock the door, the hairdryer had to be replaced as it didn't work properly. One light bulb out and and that still didn't work after being 'fixed'. Kitchen equipment could have been better - one saucepan with no lid and a drying pan that was way too big for any of the hob rings. But I still loved it and will be back.

Only one night stay and was hardly there but staff very pleasant and the room was well appointed and all kitchen stuff there if you need it inc dishwasher! Great location, only 10 mins walk from Waverley and right in the thick of the history. Would return.
