Fantastic hotel. Location central Sheffield. Large clean rooms. Indoor pool. Car park. Great plentiful breakfast. Lovely professional staff. Nice bar area. Past reviews are misleading. This hotel is a must when in Sheffield. Thankyou will be back soon.

Lovely friendly staff. Second bed not made up on arrival but this was quickly sorted. Two lights not working but we didn’t report until check out.

Hugely disappointed to find that Novotel has drastically cut down on small comfort amenities. Booked a standard family room for £135/night and the amenities were pathetic. Not even water bottle in the room and had to come to the lobby to pick up one.

A lovely, comfortable stay. The room was clean, comfortable and the hotel spotless. Parking was not available but the car park just a two mi Ute walk away was easy to use… It it an easy walk from the theatre. Very accessible with friendly staff.

Last upgraded in 1997 the toilets don’t flush!!!!!!

The basic requirement of a clean room and working toilet doesn’t seem to make sense to them. The toilets doent flush properly. Our’s wasn’t working and upon complaining multiple times the lady informed me that they were put in by a french company in 1997 - they are just old and takes a certain knack flushing. We couldn’t flush all night and experienced extreme discomfort for not being able to use the toilet out of fear of not flushing. This was the level of basic amenities at the Novotel Sheffield. If you are used to the normal modern toilet system, which even an ibis or premier inn provides more efficiently then perhaps don’t bother with Novotel Sheffield!!!
