Had a great stay. The staff put decorations up in our room for my partners birthday which was very nice of them. Everywhere spotless clean, we made great use of the pool. We even ordered a takeaway which the reception staff accepted and brought up to our room for us. Great location will definitely be staying again!! Only downfall is car parking prices

The hotel is situated in a great place which was easy to find, with parking right at the hotel which made things very straight-forward as I know parking in Sheffield can be a pain. I had to wait around for a while to check in as there were no members of staff around most of the time I was there, and I couldn't see any bell or any way to find someone. The room was spacious and clean although I'm not sure it had been vacuumed before my stay. Overall good stay.

I have spoken to the Head housekeeper regarding vaccuming, we are accredited ALLSAFE which is recognised by the government and have passed an audit for cleanliness and covid precautions. Please rest assured that we are very stringent on cleanliness procedures at all times and I aplogise once again if you felt this was not the case. we had a really good stay, took kids along as we got married at novotel so always enjoy coming back , booked in to pool and that was good , chilled out and watched some films later then went to bed only to be kept awake for hours due to the people in the opposite room, banging on door to let them in sounded like they were arguing, sounded like a few people in the room aswell and im talking 12.30 am so a good day spoilt by a few idiots partying, if you check cameras we were in room 435 sat 24th oct

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the suite was gorgeous and very well maintained. Everything was to a high standard. My one issue was the intercom to leave the car park and the internal phones seem not to be the best. Getting a lot of “pardon?” And “what’s?” However the service was impeccable and we will definitely return.

Checked in nice and easy, with friendly staff, we was happy with the room clean and tidy, only fault was the toilet was a bit smelly that didn't go and we stayed for 2 nights. Had a lovely pool and a well equipped gym. The hotel is in a great location and everything is in walking distance.

I was welcomed at reception by a polite and competent young woman (Spanish) who made sure i had everything i needed. My room was clean and tidy as ut always is. In view of the climate, i ate in the bar, had a nice glass of wine. Then exited smoothly. The bartender was extremely courteous and made sure i was well looked after.

It was our son's birthday. When we first went into the room there were soft toys and activity packs for both children. There was also a handwritten birthday card. This was such a nice and unexpected touch. My son was really pleased. The booked swimming slots were fantastic and allowed us to swim together safely as a family which has not been possible for a long time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great stay. The hotel is in the city centre of Sheffield, 5 minutes walk from the main railway station, and access by car is easy from the M1 motorway link. The hotel has its own underground car park, which is extremely convenient. The bedroom was most comfortable and well appointed, as was the en suite bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were tasty - served at the table in the restaurant. Given the difficult circumstances we are all experiencing at present, this was a surprisingly pleasant and easy stay.

Was put in a disabled room even though neither of us are disabled. The toilet was that high my wife's feet couldn't touch the floor. We felt that the hotel looked tired and could do with some cap-ex investment. The breakfast service was good but the quality of breakfast was poor. Including the parking cost of £13.50 the total cost of a one night stay was £101 which didn't represent value for money. We won't be booking this hotel again.

I was impressed by the general cleanliness and Covid safe systems. But mostly by the helpful staff who were very accommodating for me and my needs (older lady not very mobile with breathing issues) I was able to arrange all meals on room service. There was one staff member on reception (Jerome?? French??) who really wen t out of his way to help me in a cheerful manner. Much appreciated Downside was the hot water in the room was never hot.
