The hotel is perfectly located for local amenities such as transport links, restaurants,cafes & shops. It is also reasonably priced accomodation. The staff are lovely and helpful. The only downside is the rooms are very tired although clean. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable & had clearly seen better days, the springs could be felt, through the bedding. The drains also vehin smelling after a short time, possibly due to the age of the building. The room was also hot & stuffy & the desk fan is too noisy as is opening the window.Unfortunately I feel the large amount of hotel renovation required would be reflected by a large increase in accomodation prices. Other budget hotels have better accomodation at a similar price , but are not as well located!

Comfortable, welcoming, well located. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and efficient. The extra space was perfect for our long weekend.

It was an amazing Easter Break in Sheffield. The location was great, the room was adequate, the standard Novotel breakfast but great service when requesting specifics e.g vegan sausages. Service with a smile. Access to the pool and gym was better than at our previous visits at other Novotels. Parking is safe and secure with disabled spots available but unfortunately no concessions for disabled but this is not the hotel's issue but rather the parking provider.
