Very friendly staff. Location is near office. Additional cost of parking and aggressive enforcement is a bit negative. Nothing else around.

Fabulous new hotel and excellent facilities. But location was not mentioned when booking, nearly 3 miles from town with zero infrastructure. Also, construction work close by woke up the room at 8am. I understand the area is undergoing huge development but none of this was explained on website..

We had a relaxing weekend, making the most of the pool and sauna (we were the only people there!) and enjoying a lovely walk along the river into the city centre.

Stroppy staff member / the waiter at breakfast

Overall we had a great experience until we met your very stroppy waiter at breakfast. We had made a reservation for breakfast but when we got to breakfast at the time of our reservation there were no seats left. The waiter who was organising where everyone sat had a really horrid attitude and really put our backs up. He said we would need to wait for 15 mins even though there were reserved seats. The restaurant clearly didn't reserve our space. It was the stroppy attitude that we got from the waiter that really annoyed us and gave us a real negative start to the day.

Loved this new hotel, awesome staff, great room, you could spend the whole day in the lobby/bar/restaurant and perfect to start the Saturday morning with a swim, as there is a pool as well!

The hotel is lovely and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Everyone we met, had a smile on their face! I was concerned about the noise from the trains but there wasn't any which was ideal as we stayed with our young children. I would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed one night only but was a very good experience apart from the temperature in the room which was airless and stuffy.

A decent, contemporary hotel right by Cambridge North Station, so ideal for a return train to the centre of town. Also a new cycle bridge has just gone in and path (still under construction) although the hotel has no cycle parking of its own and the station cycle park is notorious for theft. River nearby so pleasant for a walk or run. Hotel is modern and smartly decorated with a relaxing lounge / diner. Food okay but nothing else nearby so food delivery services doing a good trade too. Good service at the bar and games like scrabble knocking about to while away a quiet evening. Good gym space. Pool okay but small and not practical for swimming due to jacuzzi and steps obstructing an entire end. Very helpful and pleasant staff too. Only real downside was the hotel is open to pets. A dog owner myself, I don't mind dogs, but in this case the owners were selfish people who don't care about their dogs' impact on others. There was a pug thing barking and running about unattended on our floor, and a family in the lounge let their yappy little dogs bark, jump and claw all over the lounge furniture during breakfast. Suspect they wouldn't think twice about letting their dog use a room for less pleasant purposes rather than walking it, and for that reason alone I'd think twice about staying again. Would much prefer a no pets policy.

Took a party of 16 wedding guests in 7 rooms. Late arrival. Ahead of visit, the customer service staff were so helpful and advised the best approach to handle the needs of so many people very quickly and efficiently. The visit was like clockwork. Everyone was expecting us. Painless, very fast key allocation. Great rooms - especially the overnight room for the bride and groom. Great breakfast. We all were able to suit together. We had a great experience and it finished off our special day

We had a really enjoyable stay at Novotel Cambridge north last weekend. We could not fault anything. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. Thank you Sei ha ly, Sebastian, SJ and all the team members we met. They always have a smile on their face and nothing is too much to ask. Gave us tips on how to get to city centre (lovely 35-40minutes walk by the canal /through park), some nice restaurant and bars etc... The hotel is modern, super clean and relaxing. Rooms are lovely and quiet, the bed super comfy. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast which allow us to eat exactly what we wanted... and of course having the gym, pool and sauna onsite was a great bonus for us as we enjoyed starting the day with a workout followed by a swim and breakfast.

Room 317-Good Breakfast-Good. Issues related to untrained waiting staff who could not tell details of the meals - for someone with specific alergy this could lead to very serious problems!! Big issue regarding the bill - claiming three times I had not been paid!!! when the bill was paid. Same waiter knocking on the room door ay 10.45 p.m. when we had gone to bed - claiming the bill was not paid. Explained it had been paid. Next morning receptionist claimed bill not paid! I showed the receipt. I would like a response please then I will refer this to Accor in France

New modern hotel , well equipped for a stay. Close to rail and bus links and cycle path network. A good choice of buffet breakfast and comfortable rooms and bar/ lounge and fitness suite. Enjoyable stay of two nights but would have liked to have stayed longer.
