Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay there was no soap only shower gel to wash hands and the tea and coffee was not replenished., When I raised this, the receptionist shoved some milk and tea in my hand and asked for the room number. No apologies received from her on behalf of the hotel and nothing was done. So I don’t think I wouldnt recommend this hotel or stay there again

- Room was not very clean to begin with, with sanitary towels packs left on the toilet countertop, and a lot of visible dust on furniture/mirror etc. - TV remote in room not working - Breakfast on Saturday 12 April had few out of stock items at time of our visit (scrambled eggs, fresh bread) - kitchen did not seem prepared to replenish stock in time - No housekeeping done on the one full day of our stay (Saturday 12 April) - when reported at Front Desk it was largely shrugged off

We are particularly concerned about the cleanliness issues you encountered in your room, including the presence of sanitary towels and dust on furniture and mirrors. This is unacceptable, and we will address this matter with our housekeeping team to ensure such oversights do not occur in the future. Additionally, we regret that the TV remote was not functioning properly during your stay and that our breakfast offerings were insufficiently stocked at peak times. Your comments regarding these matters have been shared with our kitchen staff to improve our service going forward. Lastly, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the lack of housekeeping on Saturday, however the team on the front desk are always willing to supply extra towels etc and request a clean for you, so it is a shame you felt this was not dealt with. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention; rest assured we will take steps to enhance communication among our staff members so that all guest concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location to get the bus and train into Cambridge city centre. Bus took about 15 minutes to City centre. Nice swimming pool. Good breakfast. Water missing from room. Handy shop opposite. Car park separate from hotel, not cheap!. Would stay again.
