My stay at the hotel was not the best I was advised via email that the lift what was out of order would be fixed by the Tuesday which it remained out of order for my entire stay at the hotel the breakfast was not worth the money that I paid on my last day at the hotel when I went for breakfast out of the few people that was there I was the only person that had to provide my room number so that I could have the breakfast that I had paid for

Dear John, Guest feedback is important to us, and we appreciate you sharing your impressions of your time at our hotel. Regarding the lift, you are correct that we had been advised it would be repaired by Tuesday. Unfortunately, when the lift engineers attended, they discovered that the replacement part that had been ordered was incorrect. As a result, they were unable to complete the repair and had to reorder the correct part. We appreciate that this was frustrating, particularly as the lift remained out of service throughout your stay, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. With regard to breakfast, our standard procedure is to ask all guests for their room number before they enter the breakfast area. On some occasions, our team may already know returning guests and therefore may not need to ask them again. We are sorry if this made you feel singled out, as this was certainly not our intention. We value your feedback as it helps us identify areas where we can improve both our communication and guest experience. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention. A simple, budget hotel, but clean and well maintained. Basic, continental breakfast served as a buffet, with the standard items available (fruit, cereal, bread/toaster, ham, cheese, tea/coffee). The room/facilities were as expected for a budget hotel, but the staff really did make the stay stand out as a pleasant experience. They made all the difference. Very welcoming, and only too happy to help.
