The experience was excellent. I checked in online, was greeted warmly at reception, had a lovely dog friendly room on the ground floor, the bed was big, the room was nice and warm but we could cool it down with air con to sleep at bedtime, the room was so quiet and peaceful, had a great night's sleep, had enough tea, coffee and milk as we asked for a few more, the room was lovely and clean, the hairdryer was great, I was so happy we chose to stay here.

Central location, quite a busy area but noise wasn't really a problem. Rooms are basic but adequate. Felt the bedroom itself and furnishings weren't necessarily the cleanest but the bathroom/bedding/towels were clean.

On Monday early morning someone was walking the 6th floor and knocked on my door and tried to get in, no phone to contact reception.

Its a great location and prize-wise not bad value. I had plumped for a nicer room but found myself on the second floor which is actually below street level. The room was large and clean and a comfy bed. The shower is the standard IBIS plastic cubicle which I dont object to in principal, but when the people in the room above me used theirs, it was incredibly loud, which was annoying at 05:30 (though not their fault).

I had a wonderful stay at the ibis Brighton. The staff were absolutely amazing, super friendly, and made me feel very welcome right away. The room was immaculate, and the food was outstanding. I’ll definitely be returning,highly recommended

I had important medication taken from my room. They then proceeded to search my room although I had already made it clear it had been taken. On e of the ladies was kind and I could see she was embarrassed and trying to help but the other one was incredibly spikey and accused me of being wrong as the cleaner said she had not taken it. Then we had to awkwardly tiptoe around her at the reception for the rest of our staff and we basically ignored.
