Very comfortable spotlessly clean with extremely efficient friendly helpful staff. Superb location for shopping, lots of local bars and restaurants on the door step very close to the train station and a short stroll to the seafront.. I thoroughly recommend the Ibis Brighton City Centre a great experience good value hotel.

The room was fine for the price and the bed was comfortable. But the noise of passing traffic, people shouting in the street, and water gurgling through drainage pipes from floors above kept me awake for hours. I was on the lowest floor, two levels below reception: street level at the back of the building. Higher floors would have less of an issue. The breakfast buffet was good value and the staff were pleasant. If you are offered a room beginning with a "1" ask for a higher floor.

Basic but good rooms good night's sleep, need phone or plug sockets next to bed

I have used this hotel a few times now and love the location. Being close to the station means not having to rush when heading back. The town centre, lanes and the beach are all a few minutes walk away. Also has good bus connections. Beds are comfortable. I don’t normally have breakfast but tried this time round and unfortunately it was a let down. There are lots of places to eat around so not an issue.
