It’s cold November in London and hotel room does not have a heater. Lifts accommodate only 4 ppl so there is a line as one lift is out of order. Added breakfast and very limited options. Room next to street with lot of noise. Location is great though.

We are also exploring solutions to improve sound insulation in street-facing rooms. Hotel appeared to be in a pleasant neighbourhood and not far from the shopping street of Sutton to pick up a few things so felt safe. The hotel was clean and tidy and appeared to be relatively new however in my room, the first night and morning there was no hot water and no explanation or apology prior from the hotel, I brought it to the receptionist on my departure on the first morning who just said yes we know about it, and should be fixed this evening. I also mentioned that the kettle in my room was broke, as was the door handle to the bathroom - these two points were not vital as I was solo in my room, whether these would be addressed when I checkout I'm not sure, but the hot water issue, id of expected a better response and as I had a cold water shower, and at breakfast there was no record of me paying for breakfast and that I needed to prove I had paid. the 2nd morning was more organised and I was on the breakfast list.

I really do love the place but was surprised by the lack of air flow and the damp smell that came along with it- there is no windows to open, i get hot quickly and thought me turning on the AC will resolve that problem and get rid of the smell and stuffiness, but it didn't. My mum walked in when i first had gotten the room and told me i need air fresher to stay here which is embarrassing - the whole building and facilities is lovely but this needs to get sorted, just get AC that works to get rid of the temp and smell- i can see the condensation on the door on the hallways.
