The disabled room was very basic and not what we are used to staying at ibis. The shower got water all over the place. My card was charged for a no show for a booking I had cancelled within the free cancellation time period. Although this was rectified it caused me a little distress.

A cheap foam mattress in a soulless energy-sapping space. Scalding hot water from a very stiff tap and heating that only works by getting Reception to switch it on. Overall, some way short of Premier Inn or Travel Lodge standard.

Location and room were just fine. The stay got off to an annoying start when Clarence said I needed to leave a 5 star review before he would provide me an early check in.
