My first time stay won't be my last with ibis from the moment I checked in it was with a smile. They granted me early check in for which I am grateful. The transportation from tube, train to bus all convenient, the area lots to choose from if your hungry. My room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was nice fresh daily. Alicia and other staff members to maintenance workers are just pleasant and helpful which I appreciated. Thank you Ibis.

Room and bed very comfortable if a little squashed. Good shower, Parking a bit painful as there is no direct connection to the hotel which meant a walk in the rain round the side of the building.

My boyfriend and I was stuck on the life with 3 other guests. One of the guest was claustrophobic. we got off the lift 1hr 45 mins, nobody check up on us, they attended everyone else instead. I was quite upset but the stay was good, just being stuck in the lift wasn’t so fun.

Dear Cynthia, I am truly and deeply sorry for the terrifying and distressing experience you had when you and your boyfriend, along with three other guests were trapped in the lift. Please accept my most sincere apologies. It is completely unacceptable that nobody checked on your group during this time and that others were attended to first. I cannot begin to imagine how frightening and frustrating this must have been for all of you. This should never, ever happen, and I have personally addressed this serious failure with our maintenance and front desk teams to ensure our emergency procedures are followed correctly in the future. I am grateful that aside from this incident, your stay was good, but I completely understand that being stuck in the lift was a horrible experience that should not have happened. As a gesture of my personal apology, I would like to offer you a discounted future stay should you ever wish to give us another chance.
