Hotel was clean, trendy (with over-the-top theatre themed decor), and had an excellent breakfast to prepare us for our day of touring. Staff was friendly and helpful. In spite of a heat wave, the lobby was very comfortable and the room was fine. Fresh popcorn was a treat as was the one night where we received a free glass of wine. Pleasant lobby seating area. Interestingly, the staff and hotel info did not mention the close proximity of the Thames Bankside pedestrian walkway. Once we stumbled upon it, we spent our evenings there. One can walk to the Tate Modern, Globe Theatre, National Theatre, and lots of bars, restaurants, and food trucks. The hotel is also close to the Borough Market and fairly close to the London Bridge Underground. You must join ALL Accor (parent company) in order to get free wifi. It's free but a bit of a hassle up front and unexpected. There is also a fee to have your luggage held unless you become a member. That said, they let us into our room a couple of hours early.

The hotel is very well located. It is walking distance to most of London City’s attractions like Borough Market and Tower Bridge. The metro station is also nearby. The bed was comfortable. They have AC and the room’s size is good for one person. I arrived almost 12midnight due to the delay of my flight to LHR. At first it was quite confusing to enter since the main door was closed. It took me a while to figure out how to enter the lobby. Upon entering, I got even more confused because I didnt know where to check in. It was dark and I only saw a few men drinking at the bar. I walked towards the elevator then a man with a push cart asked who I am. Only after saying that I have a reservation that I got the assistance I needed. Eventually I was given a room. The room location was also quite confusing. It was at the end of a corridor with lots of turns. But nevertheless, I got my well-deserved rest after a full day of travelling.
