Rude reception, asking if they had bottle opener, she just said NO , request if they had a fan, rudely manner says NONE , they should be re trained for customer service, being a hotelier my self this is in acceptable , Room was so hot, thermostat not working,

Discredits the Accor brand

The reception area is well decorated and the check in staff are friendly and welcoming. However the room is below par and more akin to a prison cell. I have stayed in all of the Accor groups different hotels and this was my first time is the Ibis budget. The room is sterile, no attempt has been made to bring this building up to an Accor standard. There is barely some paint on the walls. The sink area is small and the shower 'cupboard' is cosy. The toilet is located in its own area and had only one loo roll and the sanity bag unit was empty. A sewage smell was constantly coming from the drains when the tap and shower was in use. The plumbing made noises throughout the night. The window had a roller blind which does keep out most of the light but the window itself is so small that there isn't much light. The bed, although being a very soft cheap mattress was comfortable and credit to the cleaners as the room was and wash areas were clean. I would only stay here if there was no other alternative, but for £80, this is extortionate and definitely not a budget price for a hostel style room. Dear management, please rethink this idea as it is not only a disgrace to Accor but also to the Ibis brand.

Staff were fine. The room was ok. But how can the owners treat disabled customers in such a Cavalier fashion? Shame on you, accor!
