Not the best Ibis I have stayed at. Room clean but dated. No kettle or drink making facilities in the room. A hot water machine is available in the ground floor area but not particularly handy from the 3rd floor or higher. Breakfast was poor by Ibis standards and the breakfast area was not particularly clean. Parking limited for the size of hotel but we did manage to get a space for both nights.

We stayed one night at the ibis Budget London Hounslow to watch the Red Roses vs Ireland at Twickenham and overall it did the job, but there are a few things worth knowing before you book. The location is the real highlight, it's roughly a 30-minute walk to the stadium which is really convenient, and it made the whole matchday experience so much easier without worrying about getting back from the ground. Check-in was smooth and we were able to get in early, which was a bonus and set the stay off on a good note. The room itself was exactly what you'd expect from a budget hotel, basic, but it was clean and tidy and perfectly comfortable for one night. Parking, however, was a different story. The hotel car park is far too small for the size of the hotel and we ended up having to use the shopping centre car park around the corner. That was fine until we realised that once the shopping centre closes, you can't get back in through the normal entrance and have to walk up the car ramp to reach your car. Lesson very much learned – I'd strongly recommend booking a local car park in advance rather than relying on the hotel. The continental breakfast was honestly not worth the money. The selection was very limited, a few slices of ham, cheese and some houmous alongside croissants, pain au chocolats and muffins. The tables hadn't been cleared or wiped between guests, several of the food options were empty and waiting to be restocked, and to top it off the toaster was just a basic four-slice home toaster with one side broken, so there was a long queue just for toast. I would stay here again for a match at Twickenham, the location and price make it a sensible choice, but next time I'll skip the breakfast, eat elsewhere, and make sure I sort parking locally before I arrive.
