It's a budget hotel and you get what you pay for but our rooms, WC and shower were spotlessly clean, if a bit compact. We were going to the O2 so it was ideal for us. The stars of the show are the staff - friendly, pleasant, efficient and when we had an issue, they really went out of their way to help us - on a really busy day. If all you need is a bed and a shower for a couple of days, this hotel is a good, basic budget choice.

Booked the Ibis as cheap option whilst seeing a band at the O2 Institute but didn't end up staying the night. From the moment we arrived the hotel felt dirty and very dated. The room was small, clinical and dirty. The shower had a previous occupants hair attached to the wall and the toilet paper was an odd shade of yellow. The toilet door also didn't have a proper lock so the door just kept opening. The key card for the room was hit and miss as to whether it would work and the whole place felt unsafe. If you really don't care about your own safety, cleanliness or are able to sleep anywhere this is the place for you. We ended up attending the band we had come to see, checked out and drove the 3 hours home. An awful experience.

Ibis budget. Is well located Price is very good , and best important which I want mentioned to manager and general manager. Staff is friendly and nice specially Mr shayan/ Emma (better) are very courteous and co operative 👍

Cheap and cheerful. Perfectly adequate for a short stay in Brum. Friendly, helpful service especially from Emma but the rest of the staff were great too !
