I feel welcomed and safe. There is a consistently high level of service. The hotel is always clean, bed linen and towels are good quality. Managers, Reception Staff and Housekeeping Staff are courteous and professional. The atmosphere created by the Team is one of friendliness and helpfulness and I trust them. This is particularly important for a woman travelling alone. I cannot rate them highly enough.

The room was like a cell. The corridors were full of drunk people. The lifts didn’t work. I left and went somewhere else.

Good stay. Clean rooms and friendly staf. Especially the young man, working at the reception sunday evening (15.03.20) who helped us with printing our boardingpas. A Big thanks to him❤️ The pillows are rather hard but we coped with it. Nice so easy to call a taxi. The breakfast was too poor for the price.

We needed a room for 3,but we are all 70. Didnt know that a bunk bed was involved..very difficult to get into and design of upright ladder and huge space between rungs. Also at city centre ibis the bunk bed had not been made up.

Stayed for two nights for Cheltenham, room was clean and basic but great value for money. Good shower and breakfast provided a good selection.

You need to sort out sewer smell when first in the room !!!! Shower trap and basin trap being sucked dry !!!! Room heater did not heat room at all !!! Vent to outside possible blocked as had to open window because was stuffy in the night

overall rooms very clean and staff really friendly. the only downside is the bed as the mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. we booked at a good rate but would have been very disappointed if i had paid more for the room especially when you can get the same rate for a premier inn room where the beds are very comfortable

Smelly room, no soap, terrible parking

Upon arrival the room was extremely hot, very smelly and zero amenities, not even a bar of soap. I paid to extra to have parking, when I had to go to find a shop to buy some thing to wash with, when I arrived back the car park was full. I was not allowed a refund for the parking. The only plus is that all staff were generally very friendly

Key cards hardly worked and for a budget hotel was expensive doors did our head in and 1 nearly attacked one of our friends lifts took forever as only one worked and the was on a busy weekend

First impressions of the hotel all good, we asked for our group of friends to be on the same floor which the lady said was fine, when it got to me checking in she said are you sure you want to stay on the same floor as your friends, of course I do that was why we asked. I got given my room key (357) went up in the lift and when I entered the room there was a huge mouldy stain on the floor and my bed covers were stained. When going out for dinner I was going to ask for covers to be changed no one around and on returning back again no one around that’s fine I’ll take it off and put a blanket around me that I take with me (for this reason) I then have an issue with the heating it won’t change so the room is like an ice bucket all night. I’m asthmatic as it is so this whole experience of the room was shocking!! I gave up in the end and went and slept on my friends floor and could not be bothered to tell you staff members in the morning as they seem unhappy to be there anyway so what was the point in telling them it clearly would have gone in one ear and out the other. Very disappointed in the standards of your hotel room!!!! Rooms should not be left in that state - especially MOULD!!!!

The staff were amazing and accommodating. The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and amazing shower. The only negative I have was that there was no tea making facilities and no hair dryer

Lovely hotel situated about a 10 minute walk from the main town. Lovely rooms (small) but very clean! Friendly staff with secure grounds on a night. Only negative comment - when booking stated “free parking”, but it’s actually £7 for the night. No issues with that as it’s a secure car park but would have been better stated when booking. Overall lovely stay and would stay again if ever back in Birmingham.
