As a member and frequent visitor to this hotel i never expect luxury but this and for the first time we didnt enjoy our stay. Constant running around the corridors, shouting, noisy, disruptive guests very late into the evenings and the early hours. Were looking to come up again in a few months but no surprise we're looking at other options.

Me and my partner booked a weekend away to explore Birmingham for valentines. We arrived and paid 20 for the weekend on parking even though we had to check out at 12 on Sunday so did not need to pay for the full days parking. When we checked into our room we noticed that there wasn't a kettle or any refreshment making facilities. We only had 1 pillow each and a thin duvet for a weekend that was freezing, when we then turned on the air heater this did not work at heating the room up even at 30degrees. I asked for a hair dryer as this was not in the room. The breakfast was 8.50 each and continental but we thought more would be on offer for the price For a qwick stay that you only need a bed to rest your head and a shower and toilet this is fine. There is no comfort and really does live up to the budget name.

Whilst waiting outside we were horrified by a man emptying his bowels outside the front of the hotel in view of the reception window and they cleaning himself but leaving the faeces and toilet paper on the ground.

The rom was okay. Toilet and shower were too small. Shower area didn’t have a hand shower and water was falling inside the room. No bath mats available - just a small note saying bath mats available to collect from reception which could be barely noticed. Hangers were available but no space to keep other clothes, not even a small cupboard. Glasses to drink water were just paper cups - could have kept atleast a ceramic cup! Bed was comfy, with small bed side area to keep phone, wallet and watch. Overall - 4/10 . Disappointed. Could have been much better for the money we paid.
