We stayed at this hotel, as we were attending a concert at the O2 Academy across the street and we couldn’t catch the last train home. We when we arrived at the hotel, reception staff were very polite and helpful and even let us borrow their printer for a few things. When we got up to the room, we found that the room was a lot smaller than we anticipated (we had a room for three so double bed with the bunk bed over the top). The bathroom was VERY small which wasn’t the most practical. There was a TV and controllable bed lights which were a good feature however, the beds themselves were quite uncomfortable. Lastly, the shower. Now, thankfully we had already showered before we came because there was no way I would’ve used it! The shower smelled awful! It smelt like the last person mistook it for the toilet and it was never cleaned. The shower door was covered in dirt as well. Overall, the room was okay for just sleeping as we were out all day and were only really in there from midnight till 5am when we left for the first train home. If you’re ever attending the O2 Academy I’d highly recommend as it’s the closest hotel and it’s literally a 30 second walk away which made it a lot easier for us.

Reception area felt like a youth hostel. Room was basic but adequate. Lighting in the bedroom was horrendous. Just because it's a basic, no thrills hotel doesn't mean the lighting has to be so bright and badly placed.

Parking was an issue, need more space, or the ability to reserve spaces so carting luggage is not a prblem. The staff were good and helpful, but the breakfasts were a bit basic.

Staff were rude. We got in, and were completely ignored by the person on reception. Another staff member came round to check us in, and had to basically force the first person off the desk. The room smelled odd - kind of like someone had been smoking there. The cleaner tried to walk in on us in the morning. There was no soap for the sink. Absolutely no chance I will ever use this hotel again, it is the total opposite of my previous experiences with IBIS.

We arrived early but the lovely staff member was on hand to help straight away and got us a room to check in right away, we were shown how to do the car park fee. We headed to our room which was very clean smelt lovely and bed was huge. We had a very comfy night, shower was nice hot and powerful. Very pleasant.

It was what it says on the tin. It’s just a budget hotel. Nothing special about it very simple rooms but does the job. Staff were friendly.

Very noisy road so had to close window to sleep. Booked a double room but it had a bunk bed which was far too low so got a sore head in the morning! Staff were fine although room key didnt work first time and had to trail back downstairs with luggage and pizza to get new room key!

Room 9 was cold and not clean spent evening shivering as the noise from the heater was too loud to sleep . also the room had insects running round on the (silver fish )

Easy to find location, but all went down hill from. No greeting from lady on reception, I had to initiate check-in. I arrived by motorcycle and parked it on the dividing standing, not in a space. I was immediately told that I would have to pay the same rate for parking as a car because “I was taking up a space”. When I questioned this, the person got very short with me an made to feel second class. She obviously did not understand that the bike I ride cost more than any vehicle in the car park. Room was clean and efficient. Heating did not work so it was cold. On leaving, I mentioned this, the same lady said “no, this can not be so”. Then went on to explain that I could not have understood how to switch it on, treating me like an imbecile. Even after I explained that, yes I had switched it on, and I had turned the thermostat non to 30 degrees, and yes I had put the fan on to three bars, the maximum. She gave up at this point and seemed to want me gone. I went out to the bike where I saw some of your engineers who were replacing heating units, and guess what, they confirmed that the floor I was on they were changing out faulty units. They were very pleasant and sent me off with the feeling that not all your staff are rude and unprofessional.
