Good for a nights stay

Hotel and room was very clean and had new mattress. Only have 1 pillow each but could request a second pillow if we wanted. It had a 24h pizza and vending machines which is perfect for after late concerts. Pizza was delicious. Car parking was ok it’s secure but limited spaces we were lucky we got a space and I’m lucky have a small car too some spaces looked tight. £8 for 24h parking not too bad. Staff at reception were friendly and the housekeepers. Overall a nice stay for a nights stay. Thank you.

I understand that this is a budget hotel. The room reminds me of a cheap university flat or what I imagine an upscale prison cell would be. You get a bed, a shower, a sink, a toilet and a laptop size tv. The plugs don't even reach the bed. I wasn't expecting much when booking the budget hotel, it's a bed for the night at least. However, id at least expect the room to be designed in a way that allows you to have devices in reaching distance to the bed when on charge. The shower opens onto the bed, you can use the sink whilst lay in bed. yet the toilet gets a bit of privacy. The communal area on the ground floor is reminiscent of a school canteen or a prison chow hall. with vending machines that rarely work. You don't need a room card to access the upper floor where the rooms are located so security is the bare minimum. The silverlining at least is that the staff are pleasant.
