Room was appalling bad. Bathroom had cracks in the shower, toilet wouldn't flush properly and would randomly make sounds. Room was dirty in many places (cobwebs even). The hotel reception looked good which is highly deceiving. Wouldn't stay here again nor tell anyone I know to stay here

The condition of your room is completely unacceptable — from cracks in the shower and a faulty toilet to cobwebs and general cleanliness concerns. This should never have happened, and your comments have been passed to both our housekeeping and maintenance teams for urgent action. Cleanliness and basic functionality are the minimum guests should expect, and we clearly failed here. I also apologise that the condition of the room did not reflect the impression given by reception. While we are proud of our public areas, every part of the hotel must meet the same standard, and I’m sorry this was not the case during your stay. I fully understand your disappointment and why you feel unable to recommend us. We were made to feel welcome immediately and the room was comfortable and cutely decorated with a Brighton theme. City centre just a 10 minute stroll along the front. Excellent!

Check in was a little painful as the card machine was slow. Room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. Downside was the noise made by fire doors being slammed by other guests in the night. Some soft closing doors would have been less noisy. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and very attentive and friendly staff.

Was a short pleasant walk along the seafront. We were in the quiet rooms towards the rear of the hotel. Breakfast was very good in the bright sea facing room. All staff were friendly and helpful.
