While I’m pleased to hear that you appreciated our excellent location and found our staff helpful, I’m truly sorry that other aspects of your visit did not meet your expectations. I apologise that the condition of the room felt tired and in need of redecoration. Your comments have been noted and are shared with our management and maintenance teams as part of our ongoing review of room upgrades. I’m also sorry to hear that the temperature in the room was uncomfortably warm — this is certainly not the level of comfort we aim to provide, and your feedback will help us address this going forward. I’m especially disappointed to read about your breakfast experience. A busy breakfast service should never feel chaotic, and I sincerely apologise that items were missing and that we did not cater adequately for the number of guests staying at the hotel. We’re pleased to hear that you found the bed comfortable, the room clean, and that you enjoyed the beautifully decorated lobby, welcoming staff, and relaxed atmosphere of the bar. It’s also great to know that our location worked well for you and allowed easy access to the town. I’m sorry, however, that aspects of the room layout impacted your comfort. Limited storage, reduced natural light due to the courtyard-facing room, and noise from other guests are all valid concerns. As a historic building, our room layouts do vary, but this should never detract from a comfortable stay.
