Very clean hotel, the room was well laid out and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. I thought the car parking charge was steep, £25 for one overnight stay.

Great location, but. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Their reservation system does not sync with booking.com, so it took 45 minutes on check in to sort out.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a Privilege room and the bed was very comfortable. Only issue was the air con wasn't working but reception bought us a fan up. Lovely hotel very clean and the staff were great.

Room very nice. Had free drink under Accor programme - undrinkable house wine the only alcoholic option - not what is expected. Chablis extortionately priced and served with ice as it was warm ! £25 per night to use hotel car park - disgraceful.

We stayed for three nights and found it very pleasant, the single room I stayed in was TINY! Had to move sideways like a crab as it was so small! My friends twin room was not big either, no wardrobe just a small hanging rail, both bathrooms were new an clean, the bar was lovely with the fold back windows overlooking the sea, the staff were very helpful and everywhere was clean with sanitizer everywhere.

I felt that the room service if it comes to towels, re-filling coffee was non existent, and that includes making bed and bathroom essential. You had to ask to be provided. I have attended a medical seminar which was held in a different hotel and seems that there my colleagues did not have this problem and their rooms were cleaned etc. Even if we had COVID (which we DID NOT) there should not be any issue with cleaning my room as we were out all day and COVID does not hang about and waits to jump on maids!

Hotel was in an excellent location, right on the seafront which was perfect. However, there was very limited parking. The car park was extremely small and had very limited spaces. The charge was also £25 per night which I thought was very expensive. Our room was a good size however there was no air conditioning which was challenging at times, given that we stayed in the summer and the weather was very hot. One of the plugs in the room was faulty which was also dangerous.

Very well located, lovely sea view with balcony, very friendly staff and beautiful lobby and ballroom, which was used for breakfast. I feel it would be good to have the evening meal there as well The bathroom smelt badly of stale water and the staff turned on the a/c to try and get rid of this smell. That made the room cold and the smell was still there It’s a shame the menu for the evening meal remained the same all week causing us to only eat there once. The meal we did have, however, was very good

Overall nice stay, room ok and clean, staff friendly but breakfast poor, coffee machine empty only filled after breakfast finished so no tea or coffee: Poached eggs full of water so breakfast ruined by a plate full of hot water, this may be because of covid staffing issues but if breakfast provided it should be of a better standard.

Room fine. Breakfast cold and not worth the £44 paid for the two days. The worst element was the Bar. The free drink provided as I am a silver Accor holder, consisted of a soft drink or glass of house wine. The Rose was warm enough to stand a tea bag in and the red wine was totally undrinkable - may double as paint stripper. Also, had two classes of Chablis at £14 per glass. Wine was warm and barman bought ice to put in glass ! Appalling. My mistake -I shouldn't have paid it. I will be reporting these events to Accor.

Excellent stay, very disappointed that there were no drawers in the guest rooms, found it difficult to have to keep small items in our cases. The food was excellent and presented very very well, The staff were extremely helpful, well trained and smart. There were a lot of ‘New Staff’ who were still learning, but did their best and seem to have had good training. Would definitely stay again should we find ourselves in Brighton.

Disappointed and mislead

On arrival our room was not ready, but when allocated it was nothing like the room on the web listing. The Classic room on the listing was modern, spacious, had a walk in shower and Illy coffee machine. Our room was small, pokey and had neither the walk in shower or Illy coffee machine. The room was large enough for one person and dated. I had to ask reception for some toilet roll and told the lady on reception that it wasn,t the room on the web page and didn't have the coffee machine. She said it was a Classic room and they don't have coffee machines. I showed her the listing and she just said I will tell my manager because that is wrong. The restaurant was not open and the bar was pretty poor. Apart from the reception area the rest of the hotel was pretty tired. If I had known this beforehand I would not have booked this hotel.
