Stayed here on Sunday evening, as we were in town to see Kevin Bridges at the Hydro. (15 mins walk away) Parking was easy, there are a few disabled spaces outside and a huge multi storey attached to the hotel. Reception is oddly on 6th floor, this is signposted in the lifts, which were clean. At reception we discovered that we had accidentally booked 2 nights instead of one, staff were apologetic, but couldn’t refund us. Understandable as we booked through a third party, no big deal, it was our mistake, reception staff were pleasant and polite. We were on the 7th floor (720) it was very compact!!! Quite clinical but absolutely fine, strange getting out of the shower being a couple of feet away from the bed, but it is what it is. Comfortable bed, and no disturbance through the night. Shower was fine, hot and powerful. We didn’t stay for breakfast, as we were moving on to the next stop on our trip. Personally…I wouldn’t stay here again, but I can’t fault the hotel, pit was adequate for what we needed. A great option if on a budget.

Don't stay if you have a fear of lifts.! Shocking attitudes, fire hazard!

Can't really review as we never stayed! Disgusting death trap! On arrival, my son and I parked in the disabled bay at the entrance. As we entered, we looked for the stairs as neither of us can use lifts due to a severe phobia and we both have autism and confined spaces aggravates our anxiety. we tried buzzing reception... No answer, I called them several times.... No answer ( 1hr 25 mins) my son and I then entered a fire escape that had stairs upto level 6 where the reception is. My son had to stand and keep the door open at the bottom as there was no handle on the other side, I made it up to level 6 to find no door handle so I couldn't proceed into reception. Eventually a security worker walked back up the stairs with us to try gain access. He couldn't contact reception either. He then went back down, used the lift to reception to let us in. By this time, my son and I are in a right panic. Staff were not helpful, wouldn't give us a direct number to call to get back into hotel at night after my son and I attended our concert! The reception was a fire hazard. Quilts, folders and crap everywhere. Myself and my son decided we couldn't stay in a hotel that we can't safely access. If you have a fear of lifts, then do not use this hotel! Driving home after concert least I know we'll be safe!

Good for the price

I think the hotel offers good value considering it’s location, the rooms are not massive but I think it’s a fair compromise, and better than other similar chains that cost more.

Comfortable, good value stay

Hotel is well located, with free parking. Rooms are clean and comfortable, bed was too firm for my personal comfort but the shower was good and for a budget hotel I was pleasantly surprised, it was more than I had expected for the price in Glasgow. Free tea or coffee in the reception area was a nice touch.

Perfect budget hotel
