My husband and I visited your beautiful hotel for his Fortieth birthday. We had a wonderful time made even more special by Paige at the pullmans. Left a few snacks and some wine in our room on his birthday. Such a lovely thing to do. Thank you so much page.

Not happy firstly I had a visit booked for 3 nights from October 7 - 10 unfortunately I had to phone the hotel on October 7th as my partner had a sick bug so asked to check in on the 8th instead I expected to loose one nights money which was the case but there was no compassion for the guy on the phone do you want us to come with a sick bug and spread it around. Your welcome. Later on that same day we lost our dog unfortunately. On the 8th upon checking in a guy created us at the door friendly enough not sure what the point was as we're still had to go to some grump lookh woman go check in. I explained what happend to the woman ans why we were checking in Tuesday instead of Monday and my partner started crying there was zero compassion for the guy or woman and absolute joke could something not have been done maybe refund half the room price for the Monday or a free drink at the least nothingthe worst check in from any hotel. Also not happy with been charged £60 no show for the Monday even the I phone in advanced by phone on Sunday to be told this would be refunded and email sent to confirm this yet received nothing. I'm not happy with the room either Wednesday and Thursday morning lots of hammering drilling shooting outside our room from early hours completed 3 times and again on check out to be told by the woman she asked the manager to refund a portion back to us for the inconvenience yet again nothing.. Please see picture of the crap out side our room and absolute joke no signs anywhere previous night to inform anyone no communication from the hotel. Please expain to me why we were allocated this room especially with how upset my partner was at check in. Breakfast staff are poor all stood there talking loudly between them selfs other staff behind hot food picking it up with there hand and putting it back discausting this will be reported further as it's going to make people sick Can't tell you how happy we were to check out were never stay at your hotel again. Staff should be re trained Further complaint will be issued regarding our stay as I'm not happy My advise to people if you have to stay here then do so as a last resort and don't add the breakfast. Also it's a 10 mins walk into the main town 15- 20 mins walk from the train station when it's cold and wet plus windy it's not fun at all Only reason to stay here is it's close to the m&s bank arena and that's it but I still advise people to look else where.
