An Excellent stay, on our way to see Strictly come Dancing and made all the more enjoyable by Ibis helpful staff, car parking, early check-in, nearest hotel to the studios, lovely rooms and excellent breakfast. We would come again.

We arrived and immediately found parking, the reception staff remembered my phone call from yesterday and from then on everything was well organised and enjoyable an excellent weekend.

Clean but very basic. Only 20 parking spaces, of them 4 disabled, and the staff took up 2 spaces, with cones blocking the spaces

On first arrival at around 1pm having requested an early check in which was crucial to our plans we were met, after a wait, by an unwelcoming, pedantic and argumentative initial receptionist. Our booking request were confirmed unread and no management available until 3pm to resolve immediate issue. We were also accused of not making such a request until I provided the copy paperwork. No offer to retain baggage and we had to urgently revise our travel plans for that day. This was my first try with an IBIS from usually using Hilton group, I will not be returning to an IBIS by choice.

Please accept my personal apology for the inconvenience you had during your stay with early check-in and that you found our staff member unwelcome. It is our goal to consistently provide superior service & make sure our guests have a pleasant and relaxing stay, and of course every our guest should always find our staff friendly and welcoming. I am deeply sorry that this was not a case and I will personally follow this up with me team. With regards early check-in, our normal check-in time is from 3pm and of course we will always do our best to offer early check-in when it is possible. I am afraid in current situation we are not always able to provide with early check-in. This is due to the current operational issues with staff level in Hospitality. We duly hope you will give us the opportunity to serve you in near future so we can gain your trust in our hotel and brand. Easy access from Watford leisure center with good stay

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed in this ibis hotel, ideal for us as it’s only 12 miles away from the leisure centre we go to every year for our dog show, friendly staff and always clean throughout..I will be booking for next year too.

Parking is cheap at £1 a day if you can't get a hotel space, the room was comfy, they helped me have my room preference, which I appreciate, it makes my job alot easier. Wifi really good and fast, food was nice, I had the roast chicken, the guy that served me was very kind and friendly, great selectiom of deliveroo places that deliver there, trolleys available for my luggage, which is so important to me when I come with all my work gear, £1 like a normal trolley, I use this hotel alot for work. I'm scared of dogs though, and on this visit, ran into three quite eager and boisterous ones, that came up to me and scared me on the second occasion- I wish it was pet free, but that's my only issue.

We have stayed in this hotel many times and always found the staff welcoming. Kera is always very accommodating to our needs. The only disappointment I have is room service is not available, which would be beneficial. The toilet seat did break but that was mended by the time we return to the room that evening,

We usually stay here on trips to this area. The beds are very comfortable and the whole process is easy. Staff are friendly. No complaints.

Everything great except the TV! Could not get subtitles again (i.e., same as last time we stayed at this hotel)

1. On arrival your minuscule car park was full. I was offered the chance to park in the public car park which is a few steps away but told I would have to pay. Whilst I accept it was only £1 per night, there is a principle. The manager after a quite embarrassing argument eventually agreed to waive the charge. By midnight the car park had freed up so this would have resulted in a fee being paid when it was not required. Surely you should pay Hertsmere Borough Council for spaces in their car park as complementary parking for your guests when your own car park is full. Other hotels in Borehamwood do this (and most have more than the tiny number of spaces you provide. But arguing with customers in the lobby of the hotel of this is an appalling service and as an Accor Platinum member, I expect better based on my experience of other group hotels 2. The breakfast on Sunday was inadequate. All the food apart from egg, beans and bread had gone by 9:00am and was not restocked. On Saturday it was cold and not restocked properly so that only the very bottom of each hot tray was available. No-one was around to place ask for it to be restocked. And why can't you provide a decent choice of jams and marmalades? All there was for the toast was honey or butter. 3. Due to Covid there was no standard room cleaning or service every day. On check-in this was explained and I think perfectly reasonable. It actually added to my privacy 4. Internet in the room is good 5. Generally the hotel is clean, Covid safe and well positioned. So if you could get these other things right it would go a long way to making it a better than "OK" experience.

I have stayed at this hotel many times because it is convenient situated for London and the surrounding area, by car. The train Station is just 10 t0 15 minuets walk, with trains to London every 15 minuets. The Staff at the hotel are very pleasant and hard working, and nothing is to much trouble you just have to ask them. The rooms are always clean and tidy. This Hotel is ideal for a break or for work. There is a bar and the food is very tasty.

Nice location Clean rooms Good service Great price rate We reach there a bit late and we still had time to order the food from the hotel kitchen. The service was very good. In the morning we had time to have a very good breakfast at a good price despite the fact that it was not planned.
