I stayed at the ibis London Elstree Borehamwood for two days over Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very quiet, pleasant, and relaxing. The atmosphere was great, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

Food was a bit disappointing

Staff were very polite and very welcoming. Try to rectify the issues by putting in the heater and given an extra quilt which was okay and gave me a complementary breakfast which was very poor scrambled eggs feel like they just come out of a egg whisk sausages with black bacon was so salty you needed a gallon of water just to eat a piece and it looked like it’s been sitting for ages with no attention

The room you were allocated had actually been placed out of order; however, due to a system error, it was mistakenly returned to the available inventory. We are very sorry for this oversight, as we could have absolutely provided you with an alternative room to ensure a more comfortable stay. Thank you as well for reporting the heating concern. Our maintenance team has since checked the system and confirmed it is working correctly; however, as it is a corner room, it may feel colder than others. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can monitor it more closely. We are grateful for your comments regarding breakfast, which have been shared with the team to review and improve our offering. On a positive note, we’re pleased to hear that our staff were polite, welcoming, and did their best to assist during your stay.
