Good location but not without issues

I stayed in room 325. The hotel is centrally located and walking distance to most things in the city. The issue was the room had a terrible smell of stale urine from the bathroom and could benefit from a deep clean. As a result, I wasn't able to sleep very well and would choose another hotel for my next stay.
Good location, nice simple hotel

Not the first time we've stayed here - nice simple hotel. Previously the £10 charge for pets has been waived (because our dog is tiny) but not this time. Also the air conditioner dripped onto the carpet most of the night - staff apologised, explaining that it was because it was so hot - but was a pretty annoying.
Dear Tom, I'm sorry to hear you experienced issues in the room during your stay. I have asked the maintenance team to inspect the unit in the room, identify the issue and implement preventative measures. I'd like to assure you the leaking of a air blower unit is not a regular occurrence in our hotel. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us and helping us identify areas of improvement! Kind Regards, Kacper Warakomski | Hotel Team Leader

The staff were nice and the bed was comfortable but the room had a very bad smell which made the stay unenjoyable.

Dripping air con unit, a banging all night light shoes in a tumble dryer from above the bathroom. No sleep whatsoever. Complaining, didn’t seem interested.
Dear Andrew, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, and I'm very sorry to hear the stay did not exceed your expectations. I'd like to assure you the leaking air blower unit is not a regular occurrence in our hotel and I'd like to apologize for the inconvenience. Our teams complete regular floor walks along with our security partners and we try our best to limit the noise during night time hours within the hotel. I can only apologize if other guests behavior during the night caused disturbance to yourself. I hope we will have the opportunity to redeem ourselves in the near future and welcome you back to Nottingham. Kind Regards, Kacper Warakomski | Hotel Team Leader

First time to Nottingham, travelling with family. The hotel is situated very conveniently in the Lace Market area within walking distance to the city centre and all central tourist sites and activities. About a 20 minute walk from the train station - uphill, so perhaps consider an Uber. It is also next door to a Tesco, in case any water or snacks are needed. When walking in, a bit confusing as there is no formal check-in desk. Rather, the bar counter to the left serves as the check-in counter. Small lobby seating area with a convenient button on the wall if a taxi is needed, and complimentary bowl of candy. The room itself is compact, not a lot of room for luggage and counter space. Bathrooms are also small but clean and decent for basic needs. We had breakfast included with our room, and was very good. The breakfast included many standard hot English breakfast items, along with continental options. The croissants (plain and chocolate) were the best i've had in a long while! Very delicious. Would stay here again.
