Location was a saving grace otherwise i wouldve voted dissatisified - Key card stopped working after a few hours and kept well away from my phone (had to be reset every day i was here) - Internet didnt work at all throughout my stay

Disappointed. got to my room, and took my shoes off. Then realised that my socks were very wet, as were my shoes and trouser legs. I put some tissue paper on the floor and saw that the carpet was soaking wet. Upon reporting to the reception, I was told that the carpets had been deep cleaned and it would eventually dry out. That is also why the room had a strange smell. I said this wasn't very good and that customers should have been told. I asked to change room and was told none available. I said a discount or refund should apply. I was offered a complimentary breakfast which was of no use as was leaving early the following morning. I was then offered a room on a different floor. I viewed the new room and it had no carpets just a wooden floor so changed from my initial room. I cannot understand why a deep carpet clean was undertaken when customers would be checking in. I have stayed at the hotel many times before and not had. problem. This was not a good experience.
