Great location right in the heart of Nottingham in the Lace Market area. Lots of bars, restaurants and things to do right on the doorstep. Very clean and tidy rooms, that are great value for money. NCP overnight parking directly opposite the hotel entrance.

I had a booking at an our Nottingham (fletcher gate) hotel on 3rd September for 1 night. We arrived at 3.30pm as instructed for after 3pm to check in and the following is what happened. Booking was found and we were given our room key cards. Walked upstairs to room 216 and the keys didn’t work, went back down and collected new keys which did work opened the door and found the room not ready at all. Bedding on the side and leaving just the mattresses on show (see attached photo). We went back downstairs and showed the picture before being given new keys to room 206 these keys also didn’t work so again went back downstairs to find around 6 other guests also with non functioning room keys. Therefore, there was a bit of a wait around to get the new keys which I understand but didn’t help the frustration. Finally, the new key cards did work and we had our room that was ready. The whole process took over 30 mins and apart from confused staff as too why nothing was ready or working we didn’t receive much in the way of apologies or let us help you. Just here’s a different room try that one. To then have the cheek of being asked if we wanted to pay extra for breakfast which we didn’t want anyway. I understand that individual staff cannot be blamed as this will be a company procedure but a company of your size this shouldn’t be happening. I hope to receive some compensation or something in return for the inconvenience caused and the frustration at a system which clearly doesn’t work. Max v. d.
