Excellent stay with excellent service and staff across all quarters. Of special note and appreciation on this occasion to; Romane - Reception, Costa - Bar Manager, Greg - Doorman all first class service and friendliness making you feel special without too much fuss. However, they are only samples as 10/10 to housekeeping, concierge and waiting staff in the restaurant.

Our stay was ok but could have been better. Several things went wrong. Murphy’s law.... online checkin is good but rooms where not ready yet - which was ok - they were going to text us when they were ready. But we never got a textmessage and walked around for 2 hours waiting for our rooms.. When we got back they said they had been ready for over more than an hour. Booked 2 rooms with bath - upon arrival got only 1 room with bath - reception was helpfull when we mentionned it and changed the room - we had already unpacked because we were running late for a booking outside the hotel - housekeeping moved everything for us but forgot some things in the bathroom. Never got them back. On our second day cookies had been eaten - not by our party! - and left half eaten in the minibar. Strange! Not nice to encounter. Got wrong info from concierge and were as thus left at a closed winebar that evening. Breakfast was good. And the bar too, especially the staff there. Mayby turn down the music a little bit. Impossible to talk to each other when in a group of 6. Overall we had a nice stay.

I must have stayed at least ten times at your hotel. I feel I should be treated as a preferred customer, but unfortunately I am always reminded that there is no such recognition at Sofitel. I love the hotel and staff, but there is that extra step that is missing. That leads me at times to check into neighbouring hotels out of frustration. Example, during my last seven days stay, I requested a two o'clock checkout which was not granted. That was very unexpected, and disappointing.

Nothing but good things to say abt this hotel. Felt welcomed the moment i step into the hotel. Guest Relations Lea was excellent. Made me feel welcomed and privileged. She even recommended me a few places to go to. One of them was the awesome Winter Wonderland.The breakfast team was excellent too. Always there to assist if i need anything. The room was so nice and immaculate. The bed was so comfy, it was so hard to leave it. The guys that are always standing at the entrance was always so helpful and welcoming. Location of the hotel is perfect to walk to anywhere! Check out was fast and smooth. I'll definitely come back here to stay again!

Breakfast perfect with endless possibilities. Colour of our room 419 very warming and modern. All staff attentive and friendly. The treats given to my wife over our three day stay pleased her so much. (60th birthday) Welcoming well dressed doormen. Our whole stay will be well remembered. But next time I think a third floor room would give a better view out to Waterloo Place. A warning should really have been given about the lack of view. We did actually stand on a stool once to view the Christmas tree outside. But a wonderful three days. And of course we ate in and enjoyed your Wild Honey restaurant on two evenings.

Worst stay at Sofitel SJ EVER!

Room was nothing like the room picked through the Accor app. Additionally and MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY, when a customer booked a king size bed he expects a king size bed. Not two single beds knocked together with an uncomfortable mattress topper. Check in and potential service recovery impersonal and failed to offer any resolution to this serious issue. Extremely unhappy. Extremely uncomfortable. Feeling truly robbed as a platinum member and not for the first time and for the me reason at a Sofitel (same thing happened in Sofitel FRA in September) or in Sofitel SJ (indifferent service and unsatisfactory rooms a common feature of stays). 10% discount offered at check out frankly a complete insult. You defrauded me of the room I asked for. Had I know you would do that I would have gone to another chain where my loyalty is valued. Shame on you Sofitel! Especially as this is the THIRD bad stay in 3 months at a Sofitel hotel! My trust in the brand is now shattered. I do not think that you value me as an Accor Platinum member. In fact I feel both robber and completely taken for granted. Very upset and incredibly disappointed!
