I am so gratefull to have ended up choosing the Sofitel St. James for so many reasons. First, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating from check in to departure. Each and every person anticipated out needs and went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. Whether or not it was front desk, concierge, restaurant, or housecleaning staff. Then, to top it off the bedding and bathroom towels were so luxurious that we found our bedtime and morning routines to be again beyond expectations. Don't hesitate to choose this hotel. You won't regret it at all. 5 Star All the Way!

We stayed one night for London marathon weekend , staff looked after baggage while my wife ran London Marathon, also when she had finished had put drinks and nibbles on for runners after event even though they had checked out, room service was quick and easy too.Really comfortable massive bed.

the stay has been good as always (this was my second time staying at Sofitel St James) unfortunately the view of my room very much depressing, facing a scaffolding really enhance the idea of staying in central London, other than the view, the stay has been good.

Check in was not a great experience. Despite our heads up notice we were made to set in the lobby beyond check in time. There was no communication or apology for why we had to set in the lobby and what the delay was. We had to repeatedly complain, until we got our room . This was our worse experience in our trip that included three European country hotels. We were sad that this experience ruined an otherwise great trip.
