We love the hotel and the location, however, we thought we were getting an upgrade, was moved to a smaller room with construction going on next to us. While they did give us a free afternoon tea, which was wonderful, it just started our trip off wrong. After moving , we had to request blankets and pillows for a cot which was brought, left on top of the bed for us to make. I did not receive points for my stay, could not use my upgrades as a member. We travel to London quite often and always stay at the Soffitel. This is the first time I will hesitate on our next trip.
