The hotel is rather old and cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms and corridors are carpeted, and the carpet is very dirty. Breakfast is mediocre, and so is the service in general. The staff are fairly friendly, but the overall standard is not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. Something that had never happened to me before: there was no phone in the room. To contact reception, you had to call from your own mobile or send a WhatsApp message. Frankly, I find that ridiculous for a hotel of this category, and this detail alone says a lot about the standard of the place. On top of that, prices had been raised because of an event in town during the same period, and they were completely out of line with the quality on offer. Breakfast wasn't even included in the price. Unfortunately there isn't much choice in the area, so if you're there for work you have to make do. But raising prices that much isn't fair, because neither the service nor the quality of the hotel justifies the cost. Honestly, I wouldn't give it 4 stars: 3 at most. In short: poor cleanliness, mediocre service and breakfast, an old and poorly maintained building. I wouldn't recommend it at this price.

This hotel was claimed as 4-star hotel but there is no refrigerator provided. Only shampoo but no conditioner provided. Glass is still stained with toothpaste. The room is connected with another room and I can hear clearly what the next door's talking, very disturbing especially after 11 pm. Phone is not working and unable to connect to the frontdesk. The room is actual 1-star hotel. It is the worst hotel I've ever stayed with your branch.

Booked a premium room but the room was anything but premium. Booked a triple room and received a double and a very uncomfortable sofa bed. As a Gold member was not asked regarding upgrade or welcome drinks. Reception didnt mention that I need to put my registration in. Failed to let me know where breakfast was and that I had breakfast. Breakfast was very simple and basic. Overall poor. Will be taking this further with hotel and Accor

The hotel room was renovated and well done, but the hallways and carpets were very dirty, with liquid stains throughout. The curtains in the room were so old that the top part had started to fall apart, allowing sunlight to come through. The blankets used on the bed also had holes in them. Breakfast was not at the standard we would expect from a Novotel hotel. We chose this hotel because of its convenient location next to the highway, but we surely will not book it again.

Worn carpets. Bath tub looked dirty or maybe it was just old. Noticed black stuff in the corners which seems quite gross. Bath wash dispenser had been squeezed like someone was trying to get the last drops out of it and still left there for use. Luckily we had brought ours. Walls so thin that unless you’re a heavy sleeper, you would be woken up if you have noisy neighbours which was what happened in our case. Twice tried to make use of the in-house gym but no one was at the reception to respond to enquiries about it. Intercom inside room not working as well. Be prepared to pay a £5 parking charge for the duration of stay. Glad we spent just a night there because we definitely won’t be returning. However, I believe it’s great if you have come to watch the football at the stadium or any related events in the area due to the proximity. Cleaning staff was pleasant and helped us with access when we needed it.

The hotels location was ideal for my stay and the customer service from all staff I encounted was very good being very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good. The only drawback to my stay was that although my room was clean and tidy I noticed a number of stains on the carpet in the room and also the corridors.

Room was not expensive but the hotel carpets were grim. The room was ok on the whole apart from a nasty stain on the carpet by the bed. In the morning the shower was not hot so had to have a cold . Not pleasant. .
