Room was okay. The getting little things sorted was terrible. The shower was so hot and was on the coldest setting. It took until Wednesday on my return from the day to have a great shower. Why wasn’t it sorted when I informed reception?

One of the guys on reception was very abrupt. Water in shower either freezing or scalding hot. Very difficult to have a shower. Toilet was in a separate room from sink and shower, unhygenic.... Marks, dirt and splatter marks on walls in toilet and bedroom, disguating.... stains on carpet too!! Room very unclean. Lighting is awful. Ceiling light at full length mirror is far too bright and harsh. The LED mirror in bathroom was awful. No mirror at dressing table in bedroom to do makeup, but even if there was, the lighting at that part of the room is too dark. Pair WiFi connection. The number on phone to call.reception doesn't work. Very noisy,.no sound proofing. Can hear banging and footsteps of people in room above. 7am one of the staff out in the hall hoovering and having a very loud/ almost shouting conversation on his phone. I had to open my door and ask him to be quiet.. He did not seem at all bothered he was disrupting paying guests sleep!! Would never stay here again. For £194 for one night, mid week in January (no breakfast) this was NOT value for money at all.
