Despite the pandemic, it was good to see the hotel and staff trying to make an effort, especially with evening meals on offer which is great, when you've had a long day working and just want to take a nice shower in a clean, what looks like recently refurbed room and they bring the meal to your door after you order at reception.

Can't fault the staff or the arrangements for obtaining both dinner and breakfast. The building is seriously showing its age especially in the common areas, the rooms are slightly better.

I normally stay at the Novotel in Coventry due to the location, but during the lockdown periods the cleanliness of the hotel had deteriorated when in fact it should have improved. Generally the staff are superb but under the current circumstances the cleanliness of the rooms should be a priority

Not satisfied at all, never will i stay here again, from staff attitude, the cleanliness of the the hotel, beyond unacceptable, hotel stairways and hallways filthy carpets are disgusting dirty and dusty, the rooms bathrooms floors full of residue, this room’s hand over from the previous client was literally a 10min cleaning job, I always carry some basic disinfectants since the pandemic.

The hotel corridors were not very clean, mud everywhere. People were walking around with no face masks and when i got into bed the bed sheets were dirty and had other sticky bits on them with someone else's hair. I called down to reception they offered to move me room but it was after 11pm and i told them to bring me new sheets which i had to change myself. They also charged me £5 for parking even tho i had free parking for 2 days while i had training with the NHS!

The night staff was really disrespectful no customer service at all so rude. The room weren’t cleaned properly found a dirty women’s bra in the wardrobe no toiletries at all. Reception wouldn’t even answer the phone to would physically have to walk down my self. A big NO to stay here ever again. Would highly recommend to avoid

The room I was given was immaculately presented and evidently clean in the current pandemic. The staff were always professional and very helpful.
