Good. It's my preferred hotel in the area. My only suggestion is to get a bell or bleeper on reception. I arrived late and was exhausted and had to wait for someone to check me in. In the morning there was no one on reception either - I had a taxi waiting and had to go round the other side of reception in the end and knock on the door.

Poor system that don't support the customer

We only wanted to book a meeting room for 2 hours. I had to tel three times to get to someone who could help. The first time I tel, I was eventually put through to someone clearly not in Coventry, it was difficult to understand them and they said they couldn't help me as it was too late in the eve. It was around 5pm. When I eventually got through to someone the following day, the person on reception said the person I needed to speak to was on the other line and asked if they could call me back. Why the receptionist couldn't deal with this matter? When I did speak with someone they were helpfully - thanks. When we arrived there was no one on reception. We had to find someone for a dink and then find someone later to ask for our room. When we left we had to find someone to come to reception to sort out the car parking. We are a training company (www.piptraining.com) delivering continuous improvement training to companies such as this and they would benefit financially by accessing this type of training with no direct cost to themselves.

Ok, but when we we got back to the hotel at 23:20 and asked for a drink & a snack, the night porter refused to serve us. So you’re claim for 24/7 service really doesn’t apply.

Excellent standard of rooms, but let down by poor breakfast buffet. Low quality produce left far too long under the lights. Scrambled egg dry and inedible, sausages of the absolute lowest quality. Plus the chef doesn’t know how to fry an egg.
