I like the hotel. Bed is easily I’ve slept in all over the uK and abroad. Breakfast is fine but a bit samey each day. Located in excellent area to explore. My 9 year old loves the pool there but recent experiences have completely put us off. Phone use by several guests AND a male swim coach was completely unacceptable. The family were just plain ignorant, kids were bombing and slashing everywhere and soaking floors and lifts and the adults didn’t come away from their phones once. The swim instructor (with no pupil at this point may I add) was crouched with his three lens camera (it was that close) in front of my 9 year old in wet swim ware. She was so uncomfortable (as was I) that we made our way back and the whole extra price we paid to use the lovely pool was wasted on us because that is unacceptable and should be checked not just by staff but police. Unnerving and not something I’ve seen at both lower and higher class establishments. A complete no no. And a waste of money.

Room was great - cat friendly hotel. Only issues were: room was a bit noisy as directly opposite a pub that was quite lively, and room service not available on the weekend. Took a long time to get hold of someone on the messaging app as well and no other obvious way of contacting the team.

Marissa and Rachell looked after with an early check in , we had adjoining rooms which were air conditioned with confortable beds including the sofa beds. Leisure facilities were good and the bar was reasonably priced. I did feel the snacks and serve yourself were a bit overpriced.. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options.

Lovely polite staff, excellent buffet breakfast! Be nice if pool attendant available as some guests did not abide by 'no cannonball jumping or splashing too much' ... my 5 year old granddaughter and I had to vacate the pool twice due to over-zealous guests taking it over. Also my mistake as I did not realise, I did not get Accor points as a member as I booked through Expedia, not direct with hotel. It was my birthday gift from my children so wanted them to pay the most cost effective price🙄!

The room itself was a comfortable temperature, clean and spacious. There were elements, however, that did not meet the expected standard. I reported this to the front desk on the evening of arrival and at check out the next morning. The main issues were: *The shower head was cracked/not sealed properly and so the water was shooting out in many different directions. *The bath tap to fill the bath was leaking via the shower attachment. On filling the bath and ensuring the dividing tap was fully turned to 'bath tap', it soon became apparent that there was water all over the floor. This was only sorted by me mopping the floor with available towels, and placing the shower head into the bath whilst it was filling. *The Nespresso machine requires a service. It does not fill a cup properly and is clearly an older model. *A desk light remained 'on' throughout the night. Despite it being switched off, the bulb continued to emit a gentle yet irritating low pulsing light. I removed the lightbulb which solved the problem. On a positive, staff were lovely, breakfast was relaxed and food choices were excellent. The location is excellent and the late check-out time of 12 noon was appreciated. These are small issues of general upkeep that need sorted as they do detract from what could have been an excellent stay, but ended up being an irritating one.
