What you would expect from a hotel, friendly staff, a warm welcome, everywhere clean and tidy, a comfy bed, tea making facility and a quiet nights rest. I have stayed here approximately twice a year for the last 10 years, that says it all really.

This hotel is right near the train centre and near most amenities. The staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. The room was clean and equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, TV, WiFi, towels, toiletries and was very warm. I would definitely recommend this hotel, thanks to all the staff sorry I did not get all your names.

Location, Only few mins walk from the train station and there's a wetherspoons 2mins away Room, Not great. Bathroom was grubby. The bathroom door has a large gap underneath so no real privacy. Hand soap dispenser didn't work. Toilet had to be flushed repeatedly to get it to work. Only 1 plug in the room other than the tv Value, It's cheap , so if that's the criteria you want then it fits the bill
