I usually prefer Ibis for my travels. The Hull hotel is a budget hotel, so I don't have high expectations regarding its amenities. However, on my recent visits, we've always had heating problems. The heaters in the rooms weren't working, and because the hotel was full, they couldn't give me a different room; I had to manage with the radiator heater each time. Another issue is the cleanliness. I was satisfied with it on previous stays, but not this time. I stayed for 8 nights, and I actually planned to have the room cleaned on the 3rd or 4th day, even putting a "skip cleaning" sign on the door. I didn't put the sign up hoping for a day's cleaning. From what I could see, someone had entered the room, made the beds, maybe vacuumed the floors, but the bathroom and sinks weren't cleaned. Two days later, I still didn't put up the sign, hoping for a cleaning, but the bathroom still wasn't cleaned. Since I only had two nights left, I didn't try again, not wanting to waste time.

It was a good experience but you should put more towels especially when you're checking out late plus put more for tea. May you also improve on communication because when ever we need something we have go downstairs to speak with the receptionist, if you can put something or phones inside the room or bells so that if we need something we ring a bell then staff will come to the room not to go downstairs to the receptionist
