The stay was comfortable overall, and we particularly enjoyed the great view from the room. The cleaner was also very helpful and attentive. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. We had specifically requested a quiet room, yet drilling and engineering work began at around 8:30am, which was particularly disappointing given that my husband is currently recovering from chemotherapy and radiotherapy and we had chosen the stay specifically to allow him some peace and rest. The curtains also did not adequately block out the bright light from the building next to the hotel, which made the room quite light at night. As we were staying in a Studio Room, we were surprised that there was no kitchen towel or anything provided to wipe/clean the kitchenette area. We had to use one of the bathroom hand towels instead. Overall, while the room itself was comfortable and the view was excellent, the early morning engineering work and lack of consideration for our request for a quiet room were disappointing and took away from what was intended to be a restful stay.

I checked in on a rainy afternoon with my 6 year old daughter. I mentioned in passing to the kind receptionist (Bridget) that I was in the area to show my daughter around the university campus as I had graduated 20 years ago (to the month). Bridget was so welcoming, showed genuine interest and went far above and beyond what I was expecting for what I considered to be a routine city stay. She arranged for a better room, talked through the breakfast and parking and engaged with my daughter- she had a natural warmth and I was quite taken aback at how good the service was. The hotel itself, immaculate and clean. All the staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Genuinely very impressed- and I am typically quite a difficult person to please

All staff from arriving to coming home were lovely nothing was too much trouble Even the maids ! They all had a smile , it was lovely to see them happy at work ! This was our 2 nd time staying with you ! The only problem we had was getting disabled taxis which is out of your control! Even your reception staff tried to help !

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic — we loved every minute of our stay! Wow! What a wonderful hotel! We honestly enjoyed every single moment of our stay and were genuinely sad to leave. Everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The view from our room on the 13th floor was simply breathtaking! 😍 We could have spent hours just looking out of the window. It really made our stay feel extra special and gave us such a beautiful impression of Liverpool. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented. We were so impressed by how much was provided — a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, tea and coffee facilities, lovely bathrobes and all the little touches that make you feel truly welcome. Everything was not only practical but also beautifully done. You can really tell that the hotel cares about its guests. And the service was absolutely exceptional. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and we felt genuinely looked after throughout our stay. This is what great hospitality should feel like! We were also really pleased with the parking situation. The parking is very close to the hotel, and the hotel kindly provides a 30% discount, which was such a lovely bonus. It made travelling by car incredibly easy and stress-free. Such a thoughtful touch — thank you! The location is fantastic too. It’s only around a 20-minute walk into the city centre, which was perfect for us. We could easily explore Liverpool on foot and then come back to the hotel and relax. Honestly, we couldn't fault anything. The room, the cleanliness, the facilities, the view, the location and especially the wonderful staff — everything was outstanding. A huge, heartfelt thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. You have created a hotel where guests really feel cared for, and that is something special. We will 100% be coming back the next time we visit Liverpool. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable, beautiful, welcoming and perfectly located.
