I didn’t get the room I would have liked!

I booked an executive room but was given an accessible studio. The reception said I’d been upgraded but I’m afraid I didn’t see it as an upgrade. I didn’t need the studio facilities and I was disappointed not to have the lovely rain shower in the executive room but instead had an accessible shower/wet room which was nowhere near as nice. Being in an accessible room meant the sink and the magnifying mirror were not at a height that were easy for me to use, which was quite annoying. The TV didn’t work - it just had a message that it needed to be programmed. As I was there for one night only on business I didn’t have time to complain or ask for a different room but I did feel unhappy with my stay and it was a shame as I was looking forward to a bit of luxury.

All pretty good. The only thing I would like to be improved is the breakfast layout- try to see it through the eyes of someone who has not been there before and who may not be fully awake.. It doesn’t flow - so I end up making back and forward trips to get my breakfast

This room was extremely nice, comfortable, well-equipped, and maintained, especially considering its very reasonable price and good location in Liverpool. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby was welcoming and lively. The one minor issue was I got charged on arrival in spite of paying online, but this was sorted out immediately when I checked out and asked about it. The room was really really lovely and if I ever return to Liverpool I am absolutely coming back to this hotel. And we had a great view!
