Good and convenient stay the night before running the marathon. Only problem was a room near us blasting music at 2am, when speaking to reception in the morning they said a room had ordered wine back to the room.

I stayed in this hotel about 5 yrs ago, I couldn’t have praised it highly enough. This time I found the experience totally polar opposite. Check in was a shambles , a lot of the hotel is now “tired”. Granted we are in a covid age but the whole hotel has become extremely unwelcoming and clinical. The room rates are ridiculously overpriced and just for good measure we paid over £800 for three nights and this didn’t even include breakfast. We purchased breakfast one morning and while it was enjoyable again the whole breakfast experience has lost it’s zip. But to save the best part to last on arrival we were told the room would not be serviced which is fair enough in this time of covid but we arrived home each day to find the room was partly made up and discovered on returning home that a number of items we had purchased while In London we’re missing from our luggage. I’m genuinely not sure if these were stolen or mistakenly put in bin. I am still awaiting further correspondence from Hajer Ben Aleya on this matter. After our first trip to this hotel I went out of my way to return. That certainly would not be the case on my return to London based on this trip.

Spent a lovely long weekend at Novotel Blackfriars. The reception staff were very friendly, as were the staff who worked in the breakfast room. The swimming pool was clean and a good temperature, just a shame the lockers in the changing room didn’t lock. The bedroom was fairly spacious and quiet and a comfortable cot for our baby. The breakfast had a lot of variety and good hot food, as well as more continental options. Overall a great stay.

Hotel Well Located, Great Breakfast, But could be better, no upgrade received even that i am Diamond ALL Member. Only one people working at the reception desk during check out on peak hours (lunch time) not so smart.

Myself and my Girlfriend stayed for only two nights at the Novotel Black Friars Hotel but had the most amazing time in London, paired with the fact that we loved our 12th floor room with a balcony which had some amazing views. We would definitely stay again.

Good trip apart from the breakfast which is not particularly good and seemed a bit hectic. The staff put pressure on me to leave the breakfast area 10 minutes before it officially finished just so they could start cleaning.

The hotel was clean and friendy staff. Helpful and service minded. The breakfast and bar was average, though we had excellent service by the kitchen staff for my children. The style of the bar and the style of the reception was a bit off putting, would preferred if it was more intimate and relaxing. The music was bit loud. The pool area was good, clean towels and nice sauna. Wished there was bath robes and slippers for free, since the hotel is quite pricy.

Spent two nights here, quiet location. Great food an amazing choice for breakfast and tasty evening meals. Easy to book swimming pool slots. Friendly staff. Well situated for visiting the Southbank.

A delay on check in, meant only able to access the room by 8 pm. Was able to access and stay longer in the pool/saunarium and got a couple of drinks for free. The staff was as accommodating as they could, returning this weekend so I hope this is not a regular issue.

Super stay. Great staff. Super location. Only downer, the Maitre'D. Really made you uncomfortable. She thought she was doing us a favor, hosting us. Really made breakfast an uncomfortable experience. And main reason for not dining at Jamboree.

Clean and well equipped

The room was very clean and had a desk, lots of plug sockets, iron and ironing board. The bathroom was very modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was just right. There was no conditioner or body lotion provided, but I asked reception and they sent some up straight away. The welcome staff were very friendly. The option to contact reception via Whatsapp was very convenient - a really good idea. I had a warm chicken salad in my room and it was delicious and very good value for money. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good range of items. My only slight negative was about the pool area. The changing rooms were very small and quite cold. When I went to swim (9pm) there were two women drinking champagne in the jacuzzi for the whole time so that no one else could use it and there was loud disco music playing. I am not sure if it was a special party but it wasn't very relaxing and I felt that I couldn't really use the facilities. I did enjoy the saunarium though.

Room nice, but wasnt hoovered. pool nice and welcoming staff. Asked for room service and after an hour i went down stairs to cancel, as i only order deserts to the room.

From initial phone enquiry to checkout the customer service was exceptional. The rooms were spacious, stayed in the family suite. The pool and the sauna were perfect in Size. Jacuzzi was a little cold but everything else was superb. Breakfast was superb, they made a great effort to fulfill our request for a vegan breakfast too. We will definatly be back. Literally 1 minute walk to nearest tube station too. Staff were all really friendly and helpful and quick to answer questions and help out. Best customer service I've ever had. Comparing to marriot stays I really preferred this one. My first time at a novotel and this hotel really set a high bar of expectation for the novotel experience. It was a lot better then we expected. Family of four stay. X
