Decor is depressing. 1st room: Toilet handle was broken- needed fixing Heating was broken. Mould round windows. Wallpaper and plaster was coming off Clear signs of damp. 2nd room: Shower was dripping and initially would not turn. Still. The breakfast was good and people friendly Never managed to get into the pool or gym.

The hotel is in need of modernising. Most of the areas smelt musty, especially the bedroom. The plumbing for the toilets is shocking and kept blocking. The bar staff worked hard but some didn’t really know what they were doing. Unable to change the post mix for the lemonade. This was for our daughter’s wedding. The service was shocking, waiting an hour and half for the main course. The out side garden tables hadn’t been cleaned, dried in bird poo on the benches. Everything running behind cause they couldn’t cope with two weddings at the same time. Ours seemed to be the one that got forgot about. The list is endless. I don’t recommend staying here and definitely not booking your wedding here. They charge 4 star prices for a 1 star stay and service. The red carpet treatment that they promise you, will not materialise.

The staff were lovely in all the areas of the hotel I used . Welcoming . Room less good . Smelled heavily of sweaty dog . An attempt to hid the smell by some sort of carpet freshener has been used . The socket next to the mirror didn’t work so hair had to be done looking at a wall. The light above the mirror also stopped working during my stay . The wallpaper on the ceiling and walls was pealing .

Me, my husband and our baby daughter stayed at the hotel for two days. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean. The staff were super professional, attentive and welcoming. We received a pleasant service. The breakfast had everything you need and it was very tasty! We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
