Sadly no lift working also the New door Keycards are a waste of time as every time we went out we could no get back in . the cleaning in the rooms has gone right down too towels taken and not replaced bins not emptied , dont think they had a hoover and water and coffee not replaced either sadly we wont be back again :-( .

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience—this isn’t the standard we aim to provide, and we understand how frustrating it must have been. The lift being out of service and issues with the keycards are both unacceptable, especially when they impact your ability to access your room easily. We’re also concerned to hear about the drop in housekeeping standards, including missing towels, unemptied bins, and refreshments not being replenished. That’s certainly not the level of care we expect for our guests. Your feedback has been shared with the relevant teams so we can address these issues urgently and prevent them from happening again. We truly regret that your stay left you feeling this way, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. If you’re open to it, we’d value the chance to speak with you directly and try to make this right.

We stayed at the Mercure as it was the venue for our daughters wedding. The entire weekend was faultless. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Rooms very comfortable, especially the beds. Would definitely recommend.
