We have stayed at this Hotel for about 20 years January and September. The room was Okay but the cistern handle did not work well when we arrived. Next morning it failed completely. We had to move rooms to another floor . No maintenance on a Saturday. The showers and Toilets need to be overhauled. They all have the same problem of flooding the floors. The new room did not have any tissues so used the loo roll. Our stay in September was bad and Lucy the manager had to step in then. She has sorted us but there is a great need for this hotel to be updated.

The hotel I found to be very clean and tidy. The breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from and as much tea /coffee you wanted to drink. Staff all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend too my family and friends and would not hesitate too return but would bring my own pillow.

We have stayed here a number of times because the hotel is conveniently situated for us. We have always found the rooms comfortable (especially the bed) and clean, but they are starting to look a bit tired. The breakfast continues to be good and it is an advantage to be able to get a meal or a snack at any time. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful.

Having broken down with a broken clutch on the way to the hotel on a cold and miserable day it was nice to be warmly welcomed again at reception. We were due to stay three nights but had to extend for another three nights while car was repaired, not a problem. Room was warm and comfortable. Over the weekend the breakfast was to order, my wife has the avocado and tomato on toast and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stay at the Grange Park whenever we visit my son and family in nearby Cottingham and see no reason to change.

We’re sorry to hear about the trouble you had with your car, especially in such unpleasant weather, but we’re really pleased we could make your stay comfortable during a stressful time.
