A single night stay in tandem with attendance of a dinner function. Convenient and good value for money (corporate rate) with excellent food especially the selection choice for breakfast although bacon was a little 'tough' even from first serving! Good sized room with all necessary facilities although sound insulation is poor (room 120) and voices as well as TV could be easily heard in adjacent rooms.

On a whole we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Size of the bedrooms were great and beds comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. Staff were lovely and breakfast perfect. I just have 2 suggestions. 1. We had the very large family x 4 room. Which was gorgeous with a sofa and table and chairs. The only issue we had was for the room, the TV was so tiny and on the back left wall. We had to re-arrange the beds (very clean underneath which is great) so we could watch a movie in our beds. A larger TV on the back wall facing the beds would be fantastic. 2. Although we got notified of a large event a few days before via email, by this time booking somewhere else was not an option. It was extremely busy and was extremely noisy until 1:30am. But then they were all running in the corridors, shouting and in my son’s bedroom they had music blasting at 3am next door. Ideally on booking, if notification could be flagged up of large events and the you can then decide whether to book before checkout. I would 100% go again but I would be calling to check events first :-)

Got a "quiet" room so wouldn't hear the party downstairs. Good for that - heard no disco noises. However, the partygoers were booked in near my room. So when they came back in the early hours of the morning - drunk, shouting, slamming doors, screeching - I was kept awake until 3am. Noisiest room I've ever had to stay in!!!

While I’m glad the room itself was well-insulated from the party downstairs, it’s disappointing that inconsiderate behavior from others affected your rest. We do our best to minimize disturbances and will be reviewing how we allocate rooms during events to prevent this from happening again. I understand how important a good night’s sleep is, and I’m sorry we fell short on this occasion.
