Mercure, you need to change the chef .. we dinned here on 24th march 2025 , party of 15 , every dish served was sent back , however the servers didn’t seem surprised , almost it’a regular occurrence.. the food is really poor quality and clearly frozen and pre packed food items , spoke to the manager , rather nonchalant. ( it’s what we are sent by our suppliers ) … disgusting effort

I have said it before, the hotel needs some updating, but you get what you pay for. I love staying here mainly because of the staff. Jeff and Linda in particular are complete stars and just cant do enough for you. The food is really good for a lowish budget hotel, I love the amount of vegan and veggie options.

Relaxed and enjoyable, food was great and the service was credible. Swimming pool was a bonus. The house keeping was great. One issue though, no wardrobe and no drawers to unpack into.

It’s just… old! Was probably lovely 25 years ago, needs major investment and update. My room was like a fridge, bathroom was from 1995, staff were nice and it was clean.
