well located and "cheap"

I did what was needed at a really low price. The room was tiny and my shins have the bruises to prove it. I couldn't walk down the end of the bed without side stepping it was that tight. The shower with a glass door inside the room was an interesting touch whilst staying with my daughter.... and the loo in a tiny cupboard wasn't the most welcoming.. But it was clean, and it was cheap and the mattress was thin and hard. You get what you pay for but it was ....... ok

Window in room was so draughty that my husband had to place his winter coat over it to stop the cold from coming in despite having the heating home. We left early next morning as we couldn’t stand the cold anymore. Such a shame as the staff were so lovely and helpful

I’m baffled by some of the reviews that seemingly haven’t looked into what an Ibis budget is, then complained about everything outlined in the description of the booking 🤣 Absolutely fine stay 30/12. We were attending the Ice Hockey at the Arena, you couldn’t get any closer. No issue getting a car park space (£7 on arrival). Friendly check in and out. Both rooms clean and comfy. Basic as outlined in the description but ideal if you get a good price and somewhere to just rest your head. We went into the main city for food and an Uber was about £7-8. Would stay again for convenience next to the arena.
