We were travelling up for an event next door, and really, for the price, you cannot beat it. We saw the breakfast the next morning, which also looked very good value for the money. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The room was comfortable and quiet!

For the price and location its good but the clue is in the name its budget. Not very comfy and having to pay for coffee when you have been busy all day is just a bit annoying.

The hotel itself is decent I was satisfied with the room and location. The staff were very friendly and professional. Unfortunately someone tried to come into my room around midnight on my first night which frightened me as I was alone and kept me awake for a while. I eventually fell asleep and was then woken by lots of shouting and noise in the hallway outside my room. A group of women were shouting like it was the middle of the day!

What is with your "climate control"? I don't care if it's cold outside if it's hot in my room blowing hot air in the middle of the night is a horrible idea. Arriving, hotel did not feel like it was in a nice or safe area, you can just drive into the parking but had to buzz to get out, which was odd. Check in was fine, but getting into our roo. Required learning some special trick with the key cards. We weren't told or taught this, my daughter worked it out while I went down to ask the staff for a second time (the first time they just gave me a different key) The room it's self, why on earth in a family room are you coming directly from the shower(with no where to leave clothes while showering) to the bedroom? There was also no bin in the toilet and the bin in the main room didn't have a lid. If you don't know why that is an issue I assume you are a man. The bed over the other bed was cute, and would have been nice if the room wasn't really rather warm. I opened the window the tiny amount the restrictor would allow, but I assume there was a floodlight shining on it as so much light came in. So I turned on the "climate control" it wasn't cold, but cooled the room a little. I did notice the sign telling me if outside dropped below 20 degrees it would blow hot. I figured that it was already below but it wasn't so hot it was a problem. At 4:30 I work out sweating and feeling horrible. It was so hot and the air coming from the climate control was now properly warm. So I opened the window. Where it was bright I kept thinking it was daylight outside. In the morning I was a different not saying that if it dropped below 16 degrees outside the climate control blew hot air. Not sure id this had anything to do with it. I will never stay at an ibis budget again. Not even sure about other ibis.

Great location for our visit to the R&R Circus at Don Valley Bowl. Check in was after 3pm which was too late for us so it was after 11pm however, it was still fairly quick and easy although it was busy. Thankfully we were allowed to leave the car in the carpark.
