Not very comfortable and very small rooms with no tea coffee facilities you had to buy them not a good experience not be using ibis again

You pay for parking but placement is not guaranteed. So don’t bother. only stay if you’re just gonna stay on the room and sleep for the night.

Great location for our visit to the R&R Circus at Don Valley Bowl. Check in was after 3pm which was too late for us so it was after 11pm however, it was still fairly quick and easy although it was busy. Thankfully we were allowed to leave the car in the carpark.

I had an issue when I first got to my room, I had to be moved room. The voy on reception was very helpful and nice, and moved me rooms very quickly. I was told management would be in touch, but that didn't happen. The room was what you would expect. It would probably be a £25 hotel room anywhere else but it is so close to don valley bowl and meadow hall. One website still says free parking (i did check their other sites and they do say it is paid for), so I was a little surprised to pay £8.50 a night. I dont think the hotel is worth the extra parking charge. It was quiet but the toilet closet feels like a punishment for needing a wee. I didnt like being in there. The staff were all really lovely. The cleaner made sure I had fresh stuff even though I was still in the room during cleaning time

Clean room, easy to check-in and out. Friendly staff. The only thing was that there was no separate bathroom as such. Bit tricky with privacy because the shower door is frosted but you can still see through it from the room.

the room was too cold and just wouldnt warm up at all even after trying to work the thermostat to warm up the room. Ive been under the weather ever since that night, whether its due to how cold the room was im not 100% sure

First Lady I spoke to on arrival was very helpful, advised the room was not yet ready and to return later. I returned at the time only to be dealt with by a member of staff that clearly didn’t have a clue how to check guests in as it took around 20 minutes. Room was ok all be it very small for 3 adults but " it is what it is ” when you book an Ibis budget. Overall satisfactory.

The staff are very helpful at the Ibis Budget Sheffield Arena. It's in a great location for the Arena, Don Valley Bowl, Ice Sheffield, and the EIS Sheffield. The room was very clean, the lights on the headboard are great, and the temperature is perfect. The stand where you can order an Uber is a great idea. There's free wi-fi. They have pizzas, toasties and vending machines. The breakfast is good, there's jams and toast, cereal, muesli, yoghurt, pastries. There's hot drinks and all kinds of milk and gluten free options. I would prefer if it had eggs but understand that it would be a lot more work to serve hot food. There is parking but it is limited with some limited spaces on the road also.

We arrived about 1pm and the man on reception did not even look up from his computer to greet us for several minutes. When he did he was quite short and rude with us. Yes it was early, yes it was busy but it felt unnecessary. Thankfully after about an hour of sitting in reception with a drink the lady there managed to check us in early and was very pleasant.

Stayed here for the Rock and Roll circus event, two nights. Ideally located next to Don Valley and Arena, as well as sports venue. Lots of places to eat and activities (cinema, crazy golf, bowling) and just a short journey into the city centre. Staff were warm and friendly. Place was clean and modern. Small room as per budget option, but has everything required and though it was a busy weekend it was quiet so with a comfy bed we had great nights sleep.

In a great location but the fact they charged £125 for a room that’s like a prison room is bad! Not even a bathroom, just a toilet cubicle, sink in the room and a shower opening directly onto the room. This room should have been under £50! Smelled funny too and really small. Wish I had read the reviews before I booked it. Will not be back that’s for sure.
