Like a number of people have said in reviews, the hotel is a bit tired. I believe there newer rooms, but being a family, we were put out the back in the 'Suites'. These were nice big rooms, separated from others so noise less of an issue (above the Conference rooms) but then not ones that have been renovated recently. The staff were lovely, we ate at the restaurant/bar both nights and the food was good. The kids enjoyed the pool, although again, this is in need of renovation as well. We only live 45-60mins away so just a long weekend away for us, so unlikely to return any time soon but would stay again.

We were visiting the area for the weekend and wanted a hotel with a pool. When we arrived we were swiftly checked in and went up to our room. The view out of the window was beautiful. Room was spacious and nice and clean. The pool was great, I usually can’t stay in the pool long as they tend to be too cold but this was great. We decided to stay at the hotel and have dinner rather then venture back into town and it did not disappoint. We had a 2 course meal and it was delicious. Staff were really friendly and courteous. I would definitely stay here again
