I stop at this hotel on a regular basis the staff are very friendly and helpful in the mornings at breakfast The service you get is very Good Sue make the difference with being very helpful with my breakfast needs and never fails. With the evening meal all staff act in a very professional manor but the stand out service comes from Debbie..

The room was fine - it was a little dated and tired (homes in the ceiling where the ceiling light had been moved, for example) but it was very warm and the bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and I was very happy with the accommodation for the price I paid. I ate dinner in the restaurant and was disappointed by the poor quality. The rice tasted like it was from a packet of ready made rice that has been microwaved and the curry was very oily and the sweet potato was still partially raw. The flavour of the curry was nice though. I was disappointed that the roasted cauliflower salad was cold, I was expecting a warm salad and fridge cold cauliflower puree wasn't very nice!

As always a warm welcome, comfortable room, good food, excellent service. Our television remote was not working, immediately a new remote was brought to our room. The only comment is for a hotel that prides itself on being dog friendly, the duty manager who came to our room with the replacement remote was terrified of dogs! I had to leave with our dog until she had gone!!

Our stay was nice. very impressed with size of the room and the we had a good nights sleep. Our tv did have a line down the middle but we could still watch it. We had dinner included in our deal, the waiter was a young man and we lovely and very helpful. The only down side was no one told us at check in or when we went into dinner that drinks where not included it was not a problem but we found out when we went to check out and they then said we needed to pay. We booked the hotel to be able to use the spa but on arrival the pool was not open and due to been pregnant I could not use anything else we wait a few hours but by the time it was open we was getting ready for dinner. We used the pool the next day we had a nice swim but I do feel that the spa could do with some TLC. but we still enjoyed it. Our breakfast was included and we went down in the morning and we very impressed with what was on offer we enjoyed our overrule say. it was also very nice to have a late check out.

Very relaxing, lovely food, nice pool area but room was a little dated despite us upgrading to a Privilege Room at an extra cost.

Everything was spot on! Stayed for a company function which was also spot on! The only down side was at the end of the evening when I became bouncer to defuse a situation where a very drunken guest at the hotel took offence to not being allowed to gatecrash our company function. Apart from that room, breakfast, service all spot on!

Stayed here for a works function,all facilities were excellent including the next mornings breakfast.No problems whatsoever.The only thing that put a downer was the drunken man who tried to gatecrash the function I was attending I felt like the official doorman trying to defuse

Hotel is very clearly dated and in need of an overhaul. The room was ok but there wasn’t a thermostat to control the heating so when it got too hot the only option was to completely switch off the heating. The dinner was limited, they were only serving a xmas set menu of which they had ran out of many items. We ended up ordering from the bar menu which was basically a burger and chips. Overall it was ok but I won’t be returning for a second stay.

A family group of us stayed for a Murder Mystery evening. The accommodation was very good, the meal was hot and tasty and the service was good, especially when you consider there were close to 100 guests to seat and serve at the same time. Breakfast was good with a wide range to choose from. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Fabulous food, music, and props, e.g. boas, hats, feathers etc. On the down side, strange to just have bucks fizz on a drinks reception, tiny rooms, horrendous booking experience, it's a wonder anyone ever gets booked in. Our lunch was given to wrong table as given same no as ours. On the main meal I feel there should have been a choice of sweet as the chocolate dish was so sickly and left by many including all my group.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were a party of 11 and on arrival only one room was ready... And at dinner there was some confusion with the bill, but all was resolved and the waitress on the evening was really lovely. We have stayed before and will definitely return.
