Great staff. Small, quiet room. Perfect location. The room was missing tissues, additional hand towels, real air conditioning, mini fridge, bath mat for slippery shower, fan in bathroom. Would have been nice to have some water bottles available too. Breakfast was very ordinary for the price (£13.50 per person).

Hotel is very clean & very well located . Almost all local sights are within easy walking distance. Upon arrival in Edinburgh, we took the Link bus to the old town city centre & it was an easy walk to the hotel. The room was small but well appointed & beds comfortable. The staff were friendly & we liked that the hotel was eco conscious. I would say that the only negative was that there was a walkway that ran between our building & the next, which seemed to be used by people attending late night (up to 3am)activities. They walked right under our window & it was quite loud. I also found that the hotel breakfast was a little disappointing in food quality. Overall though, we had a great stay.

We normally stay at Ibis Styles on St.Andrews Square but unfortunately it was fully booked so we decided to try this one, location is great but it’s very basic, breakfast was horrible, coffee machines dusty, not much food to choose from and of very average quality, no hot water in the morning due to some sort of breakdown so all in all very disappointing experience.

Perfect location, however there was an issue with the hot water. It can happen, but there was no communication to the guests, we just had ice cold showers with no explanation and a fully booked hotel.
