The central location and the staff are the best thing about the hotel. Considering the pricing it would be cheaper to stay outside town and get an Uber in and out. The rooms are tiny and no room for anything if one person is standing up, however the beds are comfortable, if staying in room 109 or nearby be aware the swing door into and out of the kitchen starts banging at 6.15am and although we notified the reception nothing was done about it during our stay. Breakfast was ok not great with the quality and variety noy being great. There is renovation work currently going on but it did not bother us.

Hi It grinds on me to submit this as I am also in hospitality. The trip was for my partner’s birthday and we picked the hotel for its perfect location for what we had planned. However there was no warning beforehand about the refurbishment being carried out. At one point although our meal was booked for 8pm we had to leave our room as work was being carried out still after 6:30. Another morning work had begun with drilling before 9am. I would like some sort of response to this as it definitely impacted our stay. Many thanks Gary

What a wonderful hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and a good way to start the day. Perfectly located. The drink credits for skipping daily room cleaning was great.

Positives: Hotel is easy to locate and very central. My room was clean and staff very friendly and most helpful. I felt very safe as a female, solo traveller. Drawbacks: Some sloppy interior decoration in progress in corridors, with a trail of paint spilt on the carpet, not the best first impression or smell. Quite a basic experience for the price.
