We chose this hotel due to location and proximity to the event we were attending. I had to call various times to get through to reception to confirm details. The double bed is really for 1 person. The bathroom pod reminded me of student halls of residence rooms and the toilet dripped all stay long. One of my least comfortable stays.

Was good until I checked out at 11,then by 11.30 they had taken an extra £239.80 out my bank account and said I hadn't paid for two nights, I went back and showed them my receipt to prove I had paid. They apologised and refunded my money, still not received my money yet I personally think they should have contacted me first before taking money out of my account

No iron in room. Damp smell in corridors. Breakfast not al of options and the melon in the fruitt salad seemed like it was going off.

What can I say, its typical British hotel with extortionate price and extreme low value for money. Good things first, 1. Good location 2. Decent staff that's it really. Some annoying cons which are now surprisingly baseline for any UK hotel regardless of price 1. Dirty - Carpets were literally stained! 2. Beds had headboard detached which means the pillow would fall between the gap resulting in weird night sleep 3. Parking - was charged £7 for a spot went to see the place I came to visit, came back the spot is gone had to park on a single yellow line for rest of night! 4. No iron in the room - had to go to an ironing room to find an iron with no water in it! had to go back with a bottle to find out couple of people using the iron! so had to wait in que! seriously how much effort would it be put an iron in a room? Like literally the cheapest ones are under £20! just goes on to show extreme cost cutting really. 5. the wash basin in toilet was very weirdly shaped, the shower door had massive holes in it resulting in water dripping out! 6. Overall experience - 3! Oh did I mention they charged £83 for this room (without parking)!!! Guess this is what the UK hoteling industry has now come to! what a SHAME!

The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a good location, within easy walking distance of the city centre, and the convenient parking was a real plus. The rooms were very clean, and we also enjoyed a good breakfast. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

It is a great location close to the train station, shops and a short drive to the National space centre, which was the reason for our visit. The staff worked really word doing numerous roles such as receptionist, bar staff, chef, security and maintenance. They should definitely be on more than minimum wage. The room was comfortable and provided facilities such as hair dryer, soap, shampoo, WiFi, TV and kettle. The food was great portions and had a nice seating area.

Although I paid for parking 2 nights it wasn't available and had to park on street. When I requested refund for 2 nights I was told it was not guaranteed. So they took money for something not guranteed ...huh cooling did not work and was dripping all night leaving damp pool near the door way. Hotel not safe with people roaming in corridors and in -1 floor in evening vomiting on the furniture. I would never stay again and will be expressing my dissatisfaction on social media.

I thought the staff were good as my TV only had 2 channels and they tried to sort this, I was offered another room, but the room was too hot! The room was basic but what I needed.

Key card would not work replaced still not working receptionist had to open our door each time we left the room, felt like a naughty little child, only one pillow each asked for extra was given one so had to ask for another, breakfast no drinks machine as the milk not working staff terribly apologetic, all condiments left open, had to ask for milk jug and orange juice jug to be refilled.fruit salad bowl not only left open but just melon not salad (variety), supposedly fresh fruit but so obviously out of date. I will be asking for a refund as a naughty child i should not be expected to pay £140
