Check in was disappointing - no recognition of gold status and no option offered for early access when arriving at 2. Effectively told to join general queue at 3pm. Some issues with the room. TV remote didn't work and broken toilet roll holder (which looked dangerous)

First time staying in the hotel. Finding reception was confusing as ground floor is actually not accessible from street level. Everything was dirty. Seats in the lobby, carpet in the hotel room... Bed was uncomfortable and air conditioning wasn't working. I wouldn't recommebd the hotel for longer stays.

Have stayed here many times and always found it to be satisfactory. However this time it was concerning to find you were housing a number of men for whatever reason one of whom was begging us for money whilst another was meeting with other unscrupulous men in the bar and what looked like ‘dealing’. We didn’t feel safe and secure on this occasion and would certainly think twice about booking again particularly as we paid good money for an overnight stay in such unacceptable surroundings

I wasnt too happy with the room looked too student type. Breakfast wasnt too good I found the hash browns too rubbery,eggs looked as if they were pre cooked.orange juice was awful.

Room is smallish but comfortable. Breakfast is very good. A bit of a walk to the train station but doable. Close to downtown Leicester which was nice. If I visit Leicester again I would definitely stay there again.

Reliable hotel brand to stay with. Rooms are ample for a stopover, clean, good size, tv. Having the desk and wifi was great for work. The breakfast was good quality, I'd rather have less options and good quality. Catered for different food needs which is good for me with allergies. Excellent location for Leicester City. The road system is annoying. Good to know you have parking if I need in the future. More than happy to stay here again and recommend to others. Will add Ibis to my top options for working away.

Rooms comfortable and make a good base when working away from home, food good and staff very helpful. 2 things that let the hotel down was undesirable people hanging around by the front doors in the car park making comments and scrounging and charging 3 night parking with no guarantee of getting a space.

We booked for a 1 night stay to attend a friend’s 50th birthday. On arrival we was greeted by a friendly staff member. The reception/bar area all looked clean and maintained. Check in was fast and our room was on the same level. Upon entering the room I was immediately let down by the first impression. Carpet had lots of stains and looked awful, I certainly didn’t feel I could walk around without shoes off. Bed was very firm and didn’t look appealing to sleep in. The bathroom door was very stiff to open and anyone with mobility issues wouldn’t have been able to open the door. We thought it may have just been us but we could hear other bathroom doors opening/closing all through the night due to the loud bang as they closed. The window hasn’t been cleaned internally for a long time and has numerous marks. I fully expected the exterior of the window to be more dirty based on main road running alongside. We had booked breakfast the following morning which after the room being a let down we expected the same but it was actually really nice and we commented on how different being in the bar area felt to being in the room. The room really let down our weekend stay and wish we hadn’t booked

We chose this hotel due to location and proximity to the event we were attending. I had to call various times to get through to reception to confirm details. The double bed is really for 1 person. The bathroom pod reminded me of student halls of residence rooms and the toilet dripped all stay long. One of my least comfortable stays.
