Stayed for one night on Saturday 2nd November. Good location, a short walk from Haymarket station. The room was lovely, clean, cosy and warm and had everything we needed. I loved the smell of the shower products in the bathroom, which were also vegan friendly 🌱 There was a desk with a mirror on the wall in front of it too which was convenient when getting ready. Edinburgh has a lot of vegan & vegan friendly cafes and restaurants so we didn’t book breakfast or an evening meal but I did notice there are a few options on the menu here which is good to know. Staff were friendly and welcoming and also looked after our bags while we went out for the day after checking out. I would definitely stay here again 🙂

Such a disappointment, very dirty carpets,ripped around the corner, mould in the bathroom,charger next to bed is broken and doesn't work, we have asked for a new room but instead they have send the housekeeping and sprayed everything with bleach. Still mouldy and dirty room. WiFi was not working properly. We arrived at 11 and have been told that the room is not ready,which is fine, but the staff couldn't tell when the room will be ready : can be at 1pm,can be 2pm or can be after 3pm? They have asked us to call every hour them to check of we are in town. The only good thing about this hotel is the breakfast(really good) but the coffee was awful.

I was in Edinburgh on business. Upon arrival I wasn't informed there was a technical issue with the hotel internet service and was placed in a lower ground floor where even the mobile signal was very poor! I asked if I could be moved to a high floor room so I could use my mobile for internet access but was informed the hotel was full and to check the next day! No internet also meant majority of the TV services didn't work too. I was informed the internet issue would be resolved the following day. The next day (Monday 9th Dec) after returning from business in the early evening, I discovered the internet service was still down. Again I asked if I could me moved to a high floor so I could get better mobile signal but again was told the hotel was full and to try the next day! I still had work to do and this resulted in meeting having to go back to the office and work till midnight to meet my deadline! This was the worst expedience I've ever had and for a loyal Silver member.... I hag higher expectations from Accor!

Handily located and quiet. The room was comfortable, with everything I needed. So nice to have water provided. Staff were without exception friendly amd welcoming. Plenty choice for vegans at breakfast. More than enough to set me up for the day. The waiter's smile was an added bonus.
