Efficiently run hotel. The evening meal was welcome - wide choice, well presented with good service. We were really impressed by the breakfast - particularly the fresh, unsliced loaf available at the buffet. Would be happy to stay here again.

Nice size room with a bath as well as a shower. We love that there is a small fridge in the room. Staff are always helpful, parking is free for guests and the breakfast has loads of choice.

No welcome. Reception was empty on arrival but just several reminders on the screens to register our car. Had to wait several minutes before someone arrived but no words of welcome. Just gave us our key. Room was fine but there was constant noise from the kitchen ventilator just outside our room. Went to reception to see if would could change our room and were told that the noise would go off when the kitchen had finished (which it did about 9.30pm) but they failed to inform us it would come back on at 05.15. We were not best pleased. Breakfast was fine but the staff on duty was very inactive - failed to clear away our used crockery between different courses (in fact it was still there when I went back to the table about 15 minutes later to collect something I had forgotten). Again, no words of welcome or greeting. On leaving, gentleman on reception (the manager I think) didn't ask if we enjoyed our stay - nothing! Not impressed!!

Comfortable room in a conveniently located hotel. The only problem is that there isn't a mirror that can be used whilst drying your hair.
