Great location for getting to and from a show at the O2 arena, good value for money especially for Greenwich! Nice breakfast and good facilities. Great that I could get a takeaway coffee at reception for the drive home.

Friendly welcome (which was twice as my key didn't work). Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. Second stay here in recent weeks where the window is poorly sealed and lets a lot of street noise in. Overlooks a car park that is also noisy and the hotel decided to empty their glass bins at 6am, which was an unpleasant start. Standard Ibis style bathroom although the toilet mount was a bit precarious and seemed to be bending forward. Not sure I would have trusted it with my full weight. Better Ibis and other budget hotels in the area/towards central London and will only stay again if the rate is very cheap.

Glass and waste collections are carried out by external waste management companies, which often operate very early in the morning. We can reassure you that our staff follow strict internal timings and do not empty glass bins during early morning hours. We also regret that street noise and the window sealing affected your rest, as well as the maintenance issues you noted in the bathroom. Please be assured that your comments have been shared with our maintenance team so these matters can be checked and addressed. We understand your comparison with other hotels in the area and appreciate your honest perspective. Your feedback is valuable and helps us focus on areas where we need to improve. You could not get a hotel better situated for exploring the wonders of Greenwich. I would recommend it as a base to anyone wishing to explore London. So many awesome museums, bars, restaurants, boutiques, parks and foodie experiemces within strifing distance. Far lower air pollution especially on all the lovely strolls by The Thames. Then the easy option to ride the Water Bus/ Skipper to Central London. Prices in Greenwich hotels are a touch more reasonable too. It is a winner on all fronts! This hotel is what one would expect from an Ibis - it is simple, clean. The main areas are trendified into something resembling a colourful, hipster/ mid-century modern aesthetic. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Cannot go wrong for the price - especially if your goal is to spend most of your day and evening exploring. If you want more nurture in the way of a pool/ pampering etc. then obviously look elsewhere. But for a low frills but clean base this is above adequate and wins out on location.
