A very bad smell coming form the shower hasnt been removed completely. Hopefully for you I got a cold, so less sensation when breathing. But absolutely abnormal at 260€ the night

Standard Ibis experience. Window was broken and didn't seal properly so street noise was let in. Shower was leaking from hose. Aircon doesn't really work. It's a cheap hotel but Ibis brand should be guaranteeing certain standards.

The location of the hotel was great and upon arriving it seemed great. When we went to get into bed, I untucked the edges of the duvet and noticed it felt soapy. Then upon further inspection there was white powder all on the floor, sides of the bedding, on the mattress and bed frame. I tried to switch rooms but they were full. They assured me it was just soap and we went to bed. The next morning I asked to speak to the manager who confirmed it was bug killing powder. By then my face had come out in a rash and we were both disgusted that we had been left sleeping among chemicals overnight. The manager was unhelpful and unprofessional and didn’t seem to see why we would be upset with having slept in chemicals all night. She continued to state that it wasn’t chemicals but couldn’t tell me what it was if it wasn’t chemicals. Absolutely will not be back. I understand there may be a need to use this sort of chemical in a hotel, but I absolutely do not expect to have to sleep among it and then be gaslit about it by staff.

My daughter and I stayed for 1 night to go to a concert at the o2. The hotel was in a great location at the heart of Greenwich, a 1 minute walk from the Greenwich Market and 5 minutes from the Observatory and Cutty Sark. It was very quick and easy to get to and from the o2 by bus. We had a long day travelling and asked for an early check in which the reception staff were able to which was a complete lifesaver! It made a very long and stressful day much better!!

We stayed in the hotel last year, and so were happy to book another 2 rooms for 4 nights as a base for our son's 50th birthday celebrations. We were in room 260 and our daughter in 262. We like watching a little bit of tv in bed before sleep, and catching up with the news in the morning. Unfortunately neither tv worked which was very disappointing! We also were unable to open and close the windows to block out noise at night, and get fresh air in the mornings. We informed reception, but they were unable to rectify the problems. It took the shine off our 4 nights stay at the Ibis, Greenwich. David & Anne S.

For a superior room I was disappointed. I actually checked with reception to check that we had been allocated a superior room.

Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. Female housekeeping person was irritated by us and complain to coworker in another language. Spent 3 nights at the hotel. It was clean and lobby was inviting. Beds were uncomfortable—they were basically a boxspring with a mattress pad and not workable for the female shape. Room was too warm and AC did not work well. Very little sleep the first night. Asked for assistance the next morning and moved to a room with better working AC. We’re provided extra duvet inserts when requested as they couldn’t do anything else to make the beds acceptable. We folded the duvet inserts to add additional layers to the bed and were able to sleep. Overall it was ok. Do not recommend for a good nights sleep.

Really liked the hotel which was modern and clean. The staff were very nice and the location is great (a short walk from public transport plus all the local sights). We felt safe. We only wished the breakfast was like at other Ibis Hotels we have stayed in, where even the cooked elements are part of a buffet and you can help yourself. Here you have some continental options but you have to tell someone if you want a full English, or which parts of it you want (if you are fussy like us!) I don’t think this was clear on the website when booking and if I have the option I would choose to stay somewhere which is entirely a buffet breakfast instead.

Great location….just a walk to the cruise ship. Room quite small, bathroom tiny, no washcloths. Had to pay to store luggage while waiting for room! Breakfast was great!
