This time we had a very strange experience. Every other day our cleaning lady was switching off heating in the morning. As we were coming late, it was very cold in the room that days. And another unusual thing - every day our cleaning lady was suggesting skipping cleaning by placing the sign on the bed. Is it new policy?

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your recent stay felt unusual compared to your previous experiences. Regarding the heating, please allow us to clarify that the system is designed to automatically switch off if it has not been used for a certain period of time. This is an energy saving feature and may explain why the room felt cold when you returned later in the day. Our intention is never to cause discomfort, and our team is always happy to assist if the temperature is not suitable. In relation to the cleaning, the “Skip the Clean” option is not a new policy. It has been in place for over one year. This option simply allows guests to choose to skip the daily room cleaning and, in return, receive 100 reward points per day. Mandatory cleaning is still carried out every three days, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions. Participation is entirely optional, and no guest is ever required or forced to use this option. It is offered purely to give guests a choice and the opportunity to reduce their environmental impact during their stay. We truly appreciate your comments, as they help us improve our communication and guest experience. I love Greenwich and often stay there when I'm visiting London - and the transport links to Central London are very good. (Even with Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich Station closed!) The rooms are not very spacious but they are well-designed and clean. The Reception Team are always friendly and happy top chat. Very good breakfast too!

The breakfast situation was not good, as soon as we walked in a rude member of staff started shouting ticket ticket, so we didn't look for what food was on offer, because of the rude member of staff we walked away.
