The Good: I've stayed at Ibis Greenwich before and found it to be my sweet spot in the 3 Star range; excellent location (I like Greenwich) with good bus services into central London (essential during the night when the DLR doesn't run) and a chip shop, Wetherspoons and Tesco in easy reach. Customer service, as usual with Ibis, was excellent. Handy tip: don't book via a third party website, book directly via Accor's website and become a member; you get better prices and more options. The Bad: The only downside in the room I was in (they're not all the same design) were a very small toilet with no handholds; so when you try to balance to sit down, there's a brick wall where your head and outstretched arms need to be and you have to push on the walls and slide your hands down. I can cope with it but older and disabled people probably can't. These tiny toilets need handholds, please! The So So: I don't usually need breakfast, usually leaving early on a day out and grabbing a pasty from Tesco on the way; so this time I booked without a breakfast. But one day I did need breakfast and discovered that you can get a huge and tasty English breakfast in the Wetherspoons nearby for literally 1/2 the price. Put simply, this for me is a 3 star hotel with a 4 star priced restaurant; the restaurant price range is too expensive for the hotel price range. Sure the restaurant breakfast is excellent in quality but the quantities are small and I simply don't need 4 star food at 7am in the morning.

Everything was good except that it was very dirty and dusty under the bed- needs to be hoovered more often. I would have given a higher score otherwise.

Just up the road from the Cutty Sark! Hotel is nice. Clean room but carpet need attention. Staff were very friendly and helpful!

Stayed for four nights at this hotel. Room was clean and big enough for the two of us. Comfortable bed! Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were some roadworks outside our window during the last 2 nights and were offered a change to a quieter room but we did not need it in the end.

Additional charge for parking our car in hotel car park overnight was unexpectedly expensive. The room was clean with clean bedding, the bathroom sink, limescale all over the tap, the fixtures, handrails had rust on them, the lighting for room poor. The cooked breakfast included in price was poor quality produce, and only 1 x item of each for example 1 x small sausage 1 x egg 1 x rasher of fatty bacon 1 x tomatoe etc.. The continental breakfast serving area was a mess, the serving table had used teabags on it, bits of food all over the table and little amount to choose from, as had not been topped up when empty. There was no hot water to make a cuppa tea, the orange juice on offer needed topping up. The tables were not cleared up, so had little choice where to sit to eat breakfast. Overall compared to other Ibis hotels we have stayed at pretty poor, service and quality.
