Hotel is dirty, moved room three times based on the smell of smoke. The breakfast is just not a breakfast and completely unhealthy dripping in fat and the selection of continental was non existent. Having to pay for parking is not expected and the WIFI did not work, extremely poor experience and will not be staying again.

Nothing wrong with the rooms but the aftermath of parking tickets and lack of VAT receipts leaves me with doubts. I've failed to submit a correct expenses claim as I'm missing receipts despite asking on a few occasions. No receipts being issued then I cant make further bookings.

Arrived and went to the room. On entering the room I noticed the wall lights didnt work, i checked and there was no bulbs in them so I left the main ceiling lights on. My friend and I were in the room for about 45 minutes and there was a loud bang and we were sat in the dark. Thinking there must of been a power cut we looked in the corridoor but the lights were on. When the lights didn't come back on in the room I went to reception, the lady came and looked at the fuseboard and tried to switch the electric back on. But nothing in the room was working. I asked for another room but was told they were fully booked. I filled out an incident form and had to leave, bonfire night out ruined!! I was told the manager would ring me about a refund but he didn't. I rang the hotel 3 times to be told the manager would be in touch. He wasn't I have emailed Accor hotel who own Ibis but they say we will inform the hotel management and they will be in touch they haven't I am now taking this Hotel to court and believe there was faulty electrics in the room as we never touched or switched anything on electrical except the ceiling lights. The consumer rights Act 2015 covers hotel rooms that are not fit to stay in, electricity in the room would be reasonable to expect I believe. All I asked for was my money back for a service I did not receive.

Location was ideal as we have our depot next door.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I witnessed this during breakfast and dinner service plus during check in and out, nothing was to much trouble. Paul the manager went out of his way to be helpful. Dinner menu was a little limited on choice but the quality was good and value for money. Paul did mention the menu will be changing soon.
