The ibis budget Swindon is ideally situated in the centre of the town, a stone throw from some of the best restaurants, bars, and shopping in the area. Swindon Station just six minutes away on foot, making it easy to get to London or elsewhere. If you are looking for leisure, Cotswold Water Park is just a 30-minute drive, and offers fishing and water sports. With 73 bright, comfortable bedrooms available and free Wi-Fi throughout, the hotel is a perfect choice no matter what brings you to Swindon.

All rooms are furnished with an en-suite shower room and flat-screen TV. Morning, afternoon, or evening, head down to our on-site café-bar and enjoy a specialist coffee, a locally sourced drink, or a delicious main course. As well as being close to major local transport links, the hotel boasts proximity to the Steam Museum of the Great Western Railway, Wyvern Theatre, and Swindon Designer Outlet. Please note our car park has very limited spaces and is not pre-bookable. We have a small parking garage under the hotel which is accessed by driving behind the hotel on Holbrook Way. This costs £10.00 for 12 hours and must be paid on the machines in reception. Height restriction is 1.75m and you must pull up in the left lane for the shutter to raise Car parking available which is a 1 minute walk away from the hotel and is located at Sheppard Street Car Park, SN1 5DB. Apcoa app code given at check in.

Unsafe family room!

Sofa bed wouldn’t go down as bed was int he way there not enough room for the amount of people you are willing to take money for! Health and safety, poor customer service and man at desk unwilling to help once told AC not working and the sofa bed wouldn’t go down. Worst nights sleep ever.

Three improvements....

Three suggested improvements - the ability to check in a guest in less than 10 minutes at 22:00 (the key card not be coded to the room), buy more normal tea bags so you don't run out at breakfast (Earl Grey is not the same) and have a quiet word with the builders that are regular weekly guests about their VERY LOUD swearing at breakfast. Good points - rooms are fine for a night and it's close to the station.

Great budget hotel! Exceptionally friendly staff very chilled out. Understood my Sunday morning foot injuries allowed me to have breakfast with no footwear on. (You all are so friendly and I'm grateful) Breakfast is gorgeous, You can make a bacon sandwich (perfect after a night of drinking and included) You do miss the luxuries of a non budget hotel but for a night or 2 will be fine. Plenty of takeaways close by and staff knowledgeable about the local area. Parking very easy £9 on the private carpark for 24hrs very close to the hotel. (There is a height restriction) Very local to the town centre for a night out. Bed is comfy, breakfast is nice and simple. Genuinely cheap and cheerful

Clean and comfortable stay, ideal for town centre, staff friendly and helpful, good communication at all times, only reason I gave a 6 was the water supply to bathroom was only tepid, would have been a higher score if the water was hotter!
