When a reservation is made through a third party booking provider, the hotel can only check guests in once payment has been correctly received and reflected in our system. Unfortunately, if payment information has not been transmitted to the hotel, our team is required to follow the booking information available to us at the time of arrival. I appreciate that you had confirmation from Expedia and understand your frustration. However, the hotel is unable to resolve payment issues between guests and third party booking providers directly, as these bookings and payments are managed through the booking platform.
