Clean and close to Manchester Picadilly. Nearest pub is about 10 mins away but nice little park across the street.

Awful customer service, awful rooms, shower is NEXT TO the bed

I stayed as a solo traveller one Saturday night as I was at the nearby Diecast Stone Roses event and this is only 5 minutes away. Receptionist very nice and efficient. Room on 4th floor was clean and had air con which was great as it was a hot weekend. Basic room. No kettle as you pay extra for that. Good hot shower. I paid £9 for the continental breakfast which as OK and in the downstairs eating area which was good. It was Ok for a night but a bit expensive for very basic facilities
