Having stayed recently, it was a no-brainer to stay again. Room (as before) was impeccably clean and everything worked as you'd expect. Breakfast is hearty and good value after a very comfortable night of sleep.

Excellent value for money. Clean, comfortable, modern room, welcoming staff, convenient access to mini Waitrose etc. Perfect location for a visit to family. Cheap electric car charging.

Not pet friendly they wete happy for us to sit I'm the eating area for our evening meal with other guests present ,but in the morning was told to eat our breakfast in our room or outside on patio, I challenged the staff to ne told no pets allowed I. Eating g area guest pet allergy etc. Totally disgusting no signs saying anything different and if people suffered allergies why would anywhere be pet friendly ifs a joke I e always been allowed my dog with us in eating areas as long as it wasn't near the food bar

Never normally stay at this change but thought would give it a go, unsure if the double bed would be OK for me but I honestly had a great experience the bed was big enough and comfortable, the room was basic but big and had everything needed, the breakfast was to a very high standard better then most I have had around the world not just the UK and the staff were helpful and polite making the stay even more relaxing and enjoyable.

I booked room through a third party booking.com. Through the process I was made to understand what I had booked included free car park and breakfast. After the booking process I received mail confirmation from Ibis that confirmed services included to my booking, which included free car park and breakfast. At no point did I see any notifications that said otherwise. I got to the reception desk only to realise I had to pay extra for car park and breakfast. It was explained to me it would have been different if I booked direct and not through third party. It was felt I should have been made aware clearly of what £96 approximately of overnight stay fully entailed from the onset either through booking.com or Ibis. I ended paying over £100 with car parking and simply declined paying further for breakfast.This made my whole over night stay not relaxed and happy. I just felt cheated and was really upset. It was not so much about the money but the principle.

To clarify, Booking.com displays different room rates with different inclusions. Breakfast is only included when the selected rate specifically states "Breakfast included" in green. Other rates show breakfast as an additional charge, e.g. "Breakfast £10.90". Regarding parking, Booking.com states that private parking is available for £5 per day. Complimentary parking is only available for guests who book directly with the hotel, as outlined on our website. We apologise for any misunderstanding and regret that this impacted your experience. Rooms were good value for the price that we paid. Breakfast ok but could have been better. We had an adapted room as my husband is a wheelchair user and I was impressed with the thought that had gone into it, particularly in the bathroom. Plenty of grab handles and room to move around in the wheelchair. If I had one constructive comment to make it would have been to have a higher or raised toilet! Overall I was pleased with our stay and will stay again.
