We have been to this hotel twice now, this was out 2nd visit and we booked a family room. The bunk for my daughter wasn't made up and we had to make it ourselves after a 7 hour drive and go and ask for a towel for the 3rd person in the room. Breakfast the first morning was lacking. No croissants left much to my daughters disappointment. Only 1 kind of cereal. And the hot buffet was not topped up. No beans, very few mushrooms and tomato. Slices that had been sat in the hot plate so long they were stuck to it. I filling this out this time as I felt it could have been a 1 off the first time but obviously not with it being our 2nd visit. I had to leave before breakfast started one morning and I was super grateful for the gentleman working the night shift the Sat into the Sunday for helping to get me something to eat before I left.

We are very sorry to hear that your recent visit did not meet the standards you rightly expected, particularly as returning guests. Please accept our apologies for the family room not being fully prepared on arrival and for the inconvenience of having to request additional towels after such a long journey. We also regret the disappointing breakfast experience, especially the lack of replenishment and limited options available during service. This is certainly not the experience we want for our guests, and your comments have been shared with both our housekeeping and breakfast teams so that these issues can be addressed properly. That said, we are very pleased to hear that our night team member was able to assist you before your early departure. We will ensure your kind comments are passed on to him, as he will be delighted to know his help was appreciated. We truly value your feedback and your loyalty in choosing to stay with us again. With it being a budget we didn’t expect what we got but was friendly, very clean and extremely comfortable, good size shower and just overall excellent

Room as clean and functional. Coffee and tea station in lobby was nice. Breakfast was a great deal. EV charging at 39p overnight is a no brainer for anyone travelling in and electric car.

Our 2nd visit, comfortable, clean and affordable. Beside lamp didn't work and couldn't have window open because of noisy traffic close by. Suited our needs on this occasion .
