Hotel was in a good location, the hotel has car chargers on site which is great. However, there were a number of cars just parked in the spaces that were not EV cars even though other spaces were available. Check in was quick, the only negative there was that the staff member said our room number out loud which for security purposes I don't think should be done especially as other people were behind us. Room was very small, we had to keep moving out of each others way to get round the room, but was comfortable. My husband kept accidentally switching the lights on in the night as the are touch lights in the headboard. Shower wasn't great, very small shower head and not very powerful.

Room was clean and comfortable. Only given 1 towel, ideally 2 would have been more useful for myself & my daughter. Unfortunately other than breakfast there were no other meals being provided. After a long drive and not knowing the area it would have been ideal to have dinner each night. I appreciate however it was due to a menu change. Overall a welcoming and comfortable stay

The smell in the bathroom was awful. In the morning it had intensified to a point where I had to limit the time in the bathroom. The receptionists were busy on my way out so didn't speak to them directly.

Had twin room. Beds not as big as singles and very uncomfortable. Room way too small could hardly walk around end of bed. No tea and coffee making facilities in room and lounge is not open 24/7 as advertised. We had our dog with us and although we asked for ground floor we were put on 1st floor. Dog got his first taste of a lift and not impressed! Shower did however work well. We paid nearly £80 which included breakfast and I wouldn’t say that was particularly budget price. We’ve been to far better for much less. The staff were very helpful and polite.

Unfortunately, all of our twin rooms are located on the first floor, so we were unable to accommodate your ground floor request. We're also sorry for the confusion regarding the lounge being available 24/7. While reception is staffed 24 hours a day, communal area lighting and access may be reduced overnight due to very low guest numbers. Regarding the room rate, our prices are dynamic and vary based on demand, occupancy, and local events. We apologise if you did not feel your stay offered the value you expected. Clean room, good parking, and convenient EV charging. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. We took one spoonful and returned the full plate, but no one asked why, and we were still charged for food we did not eat. The food service is terrible.

Unfortunately, the kitchen had run out of one of the key ingredients for your chosen dish, and as a gesture of goodwill we offered the meal without the missing item along with a complimentary drink, which was accepted at the time. We regret that you were not satisfied with the meal. As no concerns were raised when the food was served, while dining, or upon departure, our team was unfortunately not given the opportunity to address the issue or discuss any dissatisfaction directly. Could not fault the staff, important.. But, the room is like a prison cell. 1 towel for a couple, I booked for 2 people. 1 spare pillow.. no cups in the room or bathroom, basic B&B have that. Booking.,com site says £5 parking, I was charged £9. Really not good.. The stella wouldnt work, staff tried hard. They need to be shown.. Breakfast was the best part.
