For this price point I was very satisfied with the hotel room, the bed was extremely comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location was perfect for our needs and easy to order an Uber to/from. The experience exceeded my expectations for this price point, and we would definitely use it again if in the area.

Booked 2 nights as a gate away for the new year so arrived on the 30th of December after asking for an accessible room as l was travelling with my husband who has limited mobility. We were allocated a room not far from the reception which was excellent but to my surprise even though l had booked for 2 and explained my situation the room was set up for a family of 4 leaving us no choice but to try and fold up the single bed into a chair as we could then use that as a chair and create more room for the 2 of us. On trying to do this l discovered that the bed may not have been moved for a while as was not just dusty but filthy under neath it as also wasn't able to fold up the bed ourselves so in the end had to ask for help which we got with no problem but the actual cleaning we had to wait till the following day as was only reception time at the time. This could have all been avoided if the room had been set up to our requirements on arrival as all information had been given in the booking! Another mishap was that we bought was we expecting to be Costa coffee only to be served with what looked like weak tea which was not very nice at all only to find out that the machine was actually not working the following day so we asked for a refund which was given without issues but we just felt like although everything else was not so bad around the hotel ie the staff who were all lovely and helpful, the dining area which was quite spotless we only found out later we could have some complimentary hot drinks from the machines in the dining area but there was no information whatsoever in the rooms to make us affair of this of which l guess this may have been on the telly but not everyone will get in a room and want the telly on for information.......we actually prefer it on paper for easy access simple and straight forward as well as any other relevant information that may be of help during the stay! The hotel is in a very nice and quiet area which we really needed and we were grateful for that also for the minimalist Christmas decorations that gave the Christmas feel as was nor very for our stay. Breakfast was an added bonus also l don't think having the jams and honey in big jars is a good idea! Would to come back again sometime although not completely sure we will........hopefully by then it's a smooth n better stay!
