We enjoy staying at Hawkwell House when we visit our son in Oxford and will definitely be returning. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good with lots of choice. On the negative side, the armchair in our room had an unpleasant stain which needs to be removed.

Had a wonderful first floor room with plenty of space for our dogs too Disappointed that the bed was two singles pushed together as huge dip in centre Was also disappointed with the menu for supper and the value neither equated Don’t enjoy having to choose foods that fit in with the staff so as not to delay them closing We were there for a weekend away of rest relaxation and a conference after all . Will we return most likely, but food and drinks value for money have to equate Thank you to all though overall we enjoyed

Very comfortable, helpful staff and good breakfast. Good local public transport so easy to get into the centre of Oxford. The heater in the room was a bit noisy but apparently the heating engineers were due the day we checked out
