An evening booking with a motorcycle group. Fantastic stay. Refreshing swim in the pool, great food. Lovely time! To add, barman Tom made his grinch cocktail- what can I say?! It was a delight! As is Tom 😊

I visited the Mercure Dartford Brands Hatch spa for a pre-booked spa day, which included a 50-minute facial treatment and afternoon tea. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. When I arrived, I was told that because I'm epileptic, they would not carry out the treatment I had purchased. This has never happened to me before at any spa including this one, where I have previously received treatments with no issues. I was surprised to learn that they had no suitable alternative facial treatments for people with my disability. The only option I was offered was a full body massage with rapeseed oil, which was not what I booked and not an equivalent replacement. As a result I left and didn't have my spa day. What made the situation worse was the way it was handled. The manager advised that I would need to request a refund because they could not provide treatments to someone with my condition, which left me feeling excluded and unwelcome. The interaction made it clear that this spa is not inclusive or accommodating for guests with disabilities. This experience was extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about disability discrimination and accessibility. I hope the hotel reviews its policies and staff training so no other guest has to go through a similar situation.

Jacob is the the most wonderful host always happy to chat and take time out to chat. Tom the bar man is super helpful and always polite with a smile on His face. By far my favourite Hotel in Kent and the South East in general. A lovely Home from Home.
