What a fantastic hotel. On arrival, the staff made us feel very welcome. The food was outstanding, the rooms cleaned to a very high standard. All the staff were great from reception to bar staff. The room was nice, spacious and clean but little things let it down, the number or exposed wires from TVs and amenities looked untidy. Had to unplug a light and mini fridge to plug the kettle in. The TV wasn’t a smart TV either which was disappointing as we booked a suite so we could relax in the room, The Spa was fantastic, great staff clean tidy and not over crowded, maybe not enough loungers around the pool but everything else was great. Food was just ok, nothing special all hot and well cooked but just didn’t have the wow factor. The bar was well stocked and staff was friendly but because they had to get change from a different till and take food orders to the kitchen and there only being 1 person, getting served did take a while. 2 people in front of me in the queue and took nearly 15 minutes to get 2 drinks. Some parts of the hotel definitely could do with freshening up only small details but a coat of paint on doors and ceilings would massively help. The grounds and location are fantastic and from the outside it is a wonderful building. On a whole we enjoyed our stay but based on cost and experience in other hotels for similar trips we wouldn’t rush back to this hotel.

The location of this hotel is amazing, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, The rooms are spotless with a bath and a shower plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The value for the rooms and food is well worth the value of money. The noise level is very quiet and also the service from the hotel employees is absolutely fantastic and you have a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and treatment rooms would definitely recommend and come back again.
