The bedroom had cobwebs Bathroom had broken knobs and tiles broken Buffet breakfast was a let down , it was dried out , no mushrooms and fresh bed available I have stayed at the hotel on and off for 30 years and I couldn’t be bothered to complain but I did tell the receptionist on check out

Room was located in Courtyard. Lovely room. Tea/coffee facilities provided. Breakfast was amazing with wide range of choice to choose from.

We wanted a short break in pleasant surroundings and the hotel "ticked all the boxes". We both have slight mobility problems and the friendly staff made sure that we received any assistance that we needed.

Nice hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really lovely with plenty of choices, I enjoyed each one. The problem was checking in when I found out the room I'd booked was near the Function Room which had an event going on that first evening and could be a bit noisy, even though the hotel was fully booked I managed to change the room to one on the other side of the hotel away from the Function Room, but that room I had was dismal and disappointed with the small window which was frosted so couldn't see out of it, I often had to have the light on during daytime. It was a single bed with a single duvet in either a double size or kingsize cover which was trailing on the floor and had to keep tucking it under the mattress so I wouldn't fall over it. So wasn't at all impressed with that room.
