Large room and very good shower. Swimming pool a good size. Breakfast staff very helpful and large choice of food. It was hot in room and with too much noise could not leave window open. Apart from outside our window the hotel itself was quiet for sleeping and bed comfy. Hotel promised WiFi - not available in room and poor mobile signal from there.I mentioned in advance a meeting for one hour one of the evenings there. After being given 3 different options none of which worked and being told “ it should work” which didn’t help- allowed to use a meeting room but 1/2 hour too late! Just check which rooms have reliable access and either extend router or be honest it is not available! The landscaped gardens are car parks!! Change your online info “Set amongst the iconic Lancashire countryside with its own extensive landscaped grounds”- not true

Your comments regarding the Wi-Fi are particularly disappointing. If reliable access was not available in your room, we should have been clearer about this rather than repeatedly advising that it "should work". I also apologise for the difficulty you experienced when trying to arrange your meeting. Being given several options that did not work and ultimately gaining access to a meeting room 30 minutes late is not the service we should provide. I have also noted your comments regarding the description of our grounds.
