Under Tier 3 restrictions the hotel did the bedt it could for residents. Food in your room breakfast in a paper bag but all hot and tasty.

When i booked i checked if Hotel would accommodate me on business Stay as we have business in Accrington. on arrival was asked for proof of letter whether i was on business stay or pleasure. also receptionist was rude and politeness.

Easy to find, easy to park, safe and easy check in process. Room was large, as was bathroom. New furniture and soft furnishing. Bed looked brand new and was extremely comfortable. Room service food very tasty and hot. Friendly staff. Easy check out. Overall, very satisfied.

Lovely room, welcome. We came up for my mother's funeral in the November lockdown. Facilities were all closed due to covid 19, but got the room for five nights at a good, reasonable price. Unfortunately we had t rely on the local take away outlets for food due to the current situation. Our safety was well looked after with signs and posters everywhere remindingg us towea msks etc. Plenty of hand sanitiser. No Internet though, which was a pain, and minimum room service. Our room wasn't touched by housekeeping for our entire stay, so had to go to reception o ask for toilet roo etc, as no telephone in the room. Apart from that, the bed was comfy, and the room was nice.

I thought the safety measures in place to combat the risk of contracting Covid were well thought out and executed efficiently by the staff. The receptionist on duty on the evening I arrived was most helpful,firstly in guiding me to the hotel over the telephone,and then in the manner in which she dealt with me upon arrival. My only complaint was that the shower in my room (405) did not appear to provide any hot water despite my efforts to persuade it to do so.

Worst stay I've had in a long while

Room uncomfortably hot. Had to keep all windows open. Wasted heat! Air con not adjustable by guest. Have to call reception to adjust. Was too tired to bother. Don't understand why guest can't adjust AC. No hairdryer in room. TV didn't work. Both hot and cold taps on bathroom sink not working. Had to use bath taps.

Run down, Dirty, terrible service

My room was filthy, thick brown dust on the radiator which hadn’t been cleaned for months, thick dust on my wardrobe. Broken lights in the lift, cigarettes all over the walkway to my room, damp patches on the walls at the stairwells, all this for the bargain price of £60 per night (oh they let you park for free though)

It’s good for Mercure Dunkenhalgh I can’t upload photographs onto trip advisor or nobody would book to stay there. Filthy rooms, walkways covered in cigarettes, broken lights in lifts, damp patches on walls of stairwells all this for £60 a night ( oh but you get free parking 😬) Staying at Premier Inn now for half the price and 4 times the cleanliness and value
