The hotel rooms were not air conditioned and required the windows to be open. The noise outside from 1am to 4am was significant as there is a nightclub round the corner. the fire alarm went off for 90 seconds at 4am. i evacutated my rooom and was descending the stairs for the 7th floor when it stopped. Online booking experience was excellent. Chose the hotel because it could accommodate a family and a dog at at a reasonable price. Parking can be an issue and potentially costly. Interaction with staff was minimal but they were polite and helpful. The room was clean, basic but needs updating. The beds were uncomfortable. Slight off putting elements of stay - There seem to be a large number of young adults staying which lent itself to noise during early hours of morning, and consequently did not feel entirely family friendly. Also at 4am fire alarm activated and entire hotel had to evacuate due to a guest smoking. No USB charger points in room Whilst there was aircon - it could not cope with exterior heat of late 20's and consequently was still hot in room. Summary of stay was 'adequate' and would probably stay again for one night only visits.

the hotels very near the train line, and we received no warning when booking or checking in that the train line maintenance operates ALL night. i hope that the rooms furthest away from the train line were full and it was not thoughtlessness that put us in one of the closed rooms facing the train line. it made for a difficult nights sleep

The room was okay though there were stains on the floor, the blinds were broken and the TV stand was faulty. The only available parking was through a poorly secured 3rd party at £20 for the night.

Very drab room, why cant there be just one piece of art work anywhere. Bathroom smelt damp as air vent did not work, reported this everyday! The lobby seating area felt neglected. Stains on the seats and on the carpet, not inviting. Staff polite and helpful but could not give visitors any info on Bristol areas, tourist stuff etc.. as they had no local knowledge and could not give out info sheets due to covid. Outside was dirty, not welcoming. Fag ends everywhere, empty beer cans etc... would not stay in an Ibis hotel again.

Staff were great but the hotel is in need of work. Wood work in room chipped and damaged. Curtains fraying. Shower gel bottle on floor as it had fallen off the wall. General state of repair in the room was terrible for a room that was £140. I intend to visit Bristol more but doubt i will be staying here again

We booked 4 rooms for one night for a special family occasion. The hotel was ideally located and easy to locate in the city centre, near Templemeads station. The hotel was well presented with excellent facilities and the rooms were of a good size and importantly clean. The breakfast was excellent. The service was exceptional throughout our stay. We had a warm and friendly welcome and that warmth was extended through out our stay, everyone was just lovely and friendly and chatty.

We stayed 2 night and the room was not serviced/ cleaned etc during our stay. When we spoke to reception they said you have to ask for the room to be serviced etc ???

Had a project to photograph just down the road, so the hotel was ideally situated. Considering we are in still having to live with Covid and it's restrictions, staying at the hotel was quite painless. Staff were brilliant and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. When I'm back on site again later this year I'll definitely stay again. Thankyou!

Although Accor describes this hotel as Ibis Budget its features are equal to those of a more substantial hotel. The foyer area ; the bar ; the general standard of maintenance ; cleanliness ; and, friendly and helpful staff stand out. I'm not sure about the quality of the food, although the provision of food is helpful during the current lockdown. My room was quiet. I can't work the air conditioning unit. What do the buttons mean on the control panel? I asked for a heater, as the weather was cold. The bed is comfortable, and the good size of the room is great. Since people are welcoming and the hotel seems to be well run you get positive memories.

The hotel and the room were clean and in a very quiet area. But the receptionist was rude and not kind when talking to me. Her face expression was horrible and like didn’t want answer and talk to customers. Shame!
