Light pollution from offices

Great location and modern throughout. Also cheap, but one side of the building faces an office block which is ablaze with light all night, as all the lights are left on throughout the offices. This makes sleep very difficult. Light pollution is no joke. Won’t be returning!

I loved my stay here. Literally 5 minute walk (if that) from the station, and a 15 minute stroll into the main town. The staff are wonderful and really were interested in my visit and what they could do to make it better, however, the hotel is badly let down by lack of Air Con in the rooms. The rooms do have a unit that looks like it should be air con, but its an air heating / cooling unit. It never cooled (it did heat when I tested). The reception staff, however, have a cupboard of about 50 fans so do ask for one when you check in, and the windows open a small amount.

It was just what I needed. The only drawback was the lack of parking facilities which added a bit of stress to my stay. Otherwise it was excellent.

It was satisfactory but there were a couple of things wrong that tell you maintenance is lacking, sink leaking due to plug hole not being screwed on properly, shower rail loose due to not being screwed on properly.
