The big problem with my stay at this hotel was that, on what was only a relatively mild day, it was not possible to cool the room down at all. The wall thermostat indicated 24 to 25C for the duration of my stay, no matter what I did with the heating/cooling controls. I had to ask to change rooms in the morning as I had some work to complete. Apparently, the check-in computer was down so unable to effectively locate an empty room. A member of the front desk staff had tried to help but only managed to wake another guest when she knocked on one hotel room door only to find the room was already occupied. A very unsatisfactory stay to be sure.

Room was nicely furbished and clean, friendly staff. However room temperature was set to 26°C and the control panel didn't reflect the Air Conditioning meaning a very uncomfortable night, guests should have control over room temperature not a central control mode.

The air-conditioning in the rooms has not been working for over 2 weeks. Heat in the room unbearable. You really need to get this sorted

Staff very nice. Very helpful and proactive when there is a request. I stayed for 3 weeks and the only annoying aspect of the hotel was the plastic bag in the bins. Too thin, always break, leave a mess, and obviously extra work for the cleaning staff.

By van was broken into on your property and all my tools stolen not happy

Turn on the air conditioning in the rooms!!! You clearly aren't using a/c is the rooms. It's too hot to sleep.

I have stayed here before when it was not Ibis and felt the service was a lot better and relaxed. The air conditioning was not working and it was extremely hot and muggy although given fans not quite the same. The room were smelling of mould. Location is great but £12 for parking is too much wouldn't stay here again if I can help it.

Disappointed that the person that checked us in was unaware that the Hopper Bus was not operating to T5 that evening. I waited for 35 mins downstairs for the bus. Went upstairs after 15 mins to check the times too and still wasn’t told. After 35 mins went up again and someone different on reception said the bus wasn’t running. Maybe a notice could be put on the machine in the reception which would then alert people that the bus isn’t running.

The hotel was not busy and when we ordered food at the restaurant we were only two of no more than 8 people eating at the time. There was no mention of a delay but had to wait over an hour for 2 x chicken burgers and served with a few cold chips, getting after complaining twice about the wait!! The room had no pro[per working air-conditioning it was just recirculation warm air, you cannot open the locked window and had to use the fan to cool the room which resulted in hardly getting any sleep due to the noise of the fan (on top of that i had to be up at 4am to catch a flight). On top of that my business colleague had a similar issue and his shower tray was very slippery with no mat to stand on and nearly slipped over several time!!! All in all not happy and will not use the budget hotel again on one of our frequent business trips!!

Rooms are clean and spacious but there was a problem with the heating in the room. The room temperature was 25 degrees which was too hot. A fan was offered to me but the temperature overnight was too hot.

We arrived to a long queue as one member needed help every other minute to check in guests. We had to make the bed ourselves and my children have horrendous bedbug bites after our stay. I will not be booking again.

The Wifi connection was terrible. The window in the room was locked permanently - no fresh air. Food was average, taste can be improved upon. Key cards - poor quality, we had to change the cards almost every other day. Pillows in the room were hard.
