We chose to stay here as we had a 1 day gap between returning from Ireland and flying back to India. We needed a place near the airport for a one night stay as we had been in London before visiting Ireland so didn’t need to go anywhere. We booked the standard room with 1 double and 1 single bed. It was a large room .. no frills but we had room to move and keep our luggage. The breakfast, for which we paid extra, is good and filling, the cafe cum bar is convenient to get a drink on snack or coffee. The location is close to a Tesco express, groceries and shawarma shops which is good. It’s also on the Heathrow airport terminal 5 bus route making it even more convenient. Recommended for short stays for convenience.

I stayed at the ibis hotel, but my experience was disappointing. The room was very small and felt uncomfortable. Although there was an LCD TV, there was no internet access, no Netflix, and it felt like an empty box. There was no cozy chair to sit on. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations.

I had an excellent 1st time stay at the Ibis. Lovely welcome at reception and staff super helpful. Room was very quiet and I also had something to eat in the bar in between meetings. There was a problem with the bar till which made the process of ordering very lengthy but once the order was in the food came quickly and was tasty. Breakfast the next day was also really good. I will stay again next London visit for sure. thank you

As someone who works out of Heathrow several times a month I have been staying at this hotel for over a decade but recently something has changed in the standards, demeanour of the staff and overall ambiance. Booked one of the advertised new refreshed rooms. Was not given it after checking in, had to return to reception and ask to be allocated the correct room. Receptionist smirked and couldn’t care less. Bathroom in room smelled of cigarette smoke and the shower floor was dirty. Strange red stains on carpet under desk. Could hear the person in the next room snoring. Upon arriving at the hotel I was dropped off at the back entrance as the front entrance was congested. The staff would not let me enter through the back door and instructed me to walk all the way around to the front, using a road with no pedestrian walkway. Appalling customer service. I will not stay at this hotel again, I will never even consider it as an option after this stay.
