Dear Mr a., Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that the change regarding the in-room tea and coffee affected your experience. As an ibis budget hotel, our aim is to keep our room rates as affordable as possible while still providing our guests with the essentials and a comfortable stay. For this reason, we no longer provide tea, coffee and milk powder free of charge in the rooms. We do, however, continue to provide a kettle, cups and a spoon in every room, and guests can purchase a hot drinks caddy from our bar/restaurant for £4, which includes tea, coffee and milk powder. We understand that complimentary tea and coffee is something many guests have come to expect, and we appreciate your feedback. We will certainly share your comments with the team. We hope that, despite this, you will consider staying with us again and give us another opportunity to provide you with a better experience. Dear Karen, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. I’m very sorry to hear that your stay was uncomfortable, especially due to the heat in your room and restaurant. We completely understand how unpleasant this must have been, particularly when it affected your decision to have breakfast. We also apologise for the cleanliness issues you experienced, including the stained towel and rugs, as this is certainly not the standard we want for our guests. Your comments have been shared with our housekeeping team for further attention. As an ibis budget hotel, our aim is to keep our prices affordable while providing guests with the essentials for a comfortable stay. For this reason, items such as hairdryers are not kept in the rooms, but they are available from reception on request. We also keep our facilities simple to help maintain our budget-friendly rates. Regarding luggage storage, we do have luggage storage facilities available, and we’re sorry if this was not clearly explained or if you did not feel comfortable using the service during your stay. We are also disappointed to hear that you found our team unfriendly or unhelpful. Guest service is extremely important to us, and we will certainly share this feedback with the team.
