Much better hotel than expected. Good room and good food. Only downside was the hot air heating system in room that was noisy and not very warm. Overall well worth it the hotel is ideal for the Heathrow airport for the price and will definitely return

This hotel is very conveniently-located for Heathrow Airport due to it being served by Hoppa Bus H2D from Terminals 2 & 3 and there is also a bus to and from Terminal 5. The cost is currently £6.80 one way or there are public transport buses you can take from the street too for under £2. I have stayed over the years in many Ibis budget hotels in various countries and found this one to be a cut above the rest. The receptionist kindly gave me a quiet room at the end of the corridor where I could hear next to no noise. The room was very clean and even included an iron and ironing board. Otherwise, there was a very comfortable double bed, a large TV, a kettle with tea/coffee-making facilities, aircon/heater with adjustable temperature, a shower inside a bath tub, plenty of towels and some shower gel and liquid soap. The hotel has a restaurant which serves a good buffet breakfast for £12.50. It's a shame the price isn't lower. However, the room was very economical at £42. I was very satisfied with this hotel and would stay here again.

I often have early flights from Heathrow and have used this many times. It is inexpensive, clean and has a regular bus to the airport.

Unacceptable behavior of Indian manager at reception

My experience in dealing with reception was awful. I had booked using a credit card and wanted to pay in cash at checkin. Reception would not allow me to do so saying that this facility is cashless. If so, why was this not mentioned in the reservation email. I have also searched the general terms and conditions of the reservation that was attached with the reservation email. Nowhere is it mentioned that the payment needs to be in cash. They said it is on the website. Honestly, why would a customer examine the website to note that you are a cashless facility if you haven't mentioned it in your reservation email. If you cannot accept cash why not only allow payment using card during reservation. What is the big point of allowing payment at checkin and then not allow cash payment? It is completely a fault of the hotel and in extension the Accor chain that you are misinforming and misleading customers. However, this was not the end of the terrible experience at this hotel. The Indian manager who was in charge around midnight threatened to cancel my reservation when I wanted to pay in cash. It seems to me that he needs training in behavior and customer service. Doesn't Accor train its reception staff how to behave with customers at the middle of the night? It doesn't seem so. I demand a letter of apology from the concerned manager because it was his fault that he was extremely aggressive and misbehaved with a guest. I request you to take stern action against this staff member and make sure that such an incident is not repeated in future. He has certainly damaged your reputation severely for no apparent reason. I request you to inform me of your follow-up action.
