Booked a room online as a overnight stay prior to catching a long haul flight to pick up a cruise. Travelled up by coach, dropped off outside of Birmingham Airport Departure & Arrivals which is just opposite the hotel - not even a 2 min. walk to get there. We had checked in online and on arrival our room card etc was all ready and waiting. Room itself was large, clean and quiet, slept well on a comfortable bed. A little disappointed that there were no bathroom toiletries for washing/showering in the room or bathrobes/slippers but not too much of a issue as we had these packed in our suitcases.Breakfast was excellent, a help yourself buffet with a good selection of items which you can help yourself to as much as you want. Waiter service was extremely quick and all staff we encountered were very polite and helpful. Check out was very quick and after a very short walk we were in Departures checking in for our flight. All in all a very smooth and satisfactory stay which made the start of our holiday hassle free.

My flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the following day. Decided to get the room so I would be close to the airport ready for my new flight. The excellent team of staff at your hotel were wonderful. Polite, friendly and did all they could to ensure a good stay during extremely worrying times. Their attitude remained positive despite the conditions as they are right now, would recommend solely based on your people! Nice rooms and a pleasant stay overall.

I flew in late on Tuesday 18th March 2020 amidst all the chaos going on in the world and wanted somewhere to relax. I got exactly that... The Calm App and an eye mask, Nespresso coffee and a beautiful room with a waterfall shower.

Only fault-asked for cheapest room for one night (10.00 pm) at reception because of delayed flight to be told a price £120.00 but five minutes earlier had looked at booking dot com for availability and got a price £86.00 - was not happy because of flight problems was being overcharged

We had an exec room. Did Not like the mirrored door to the bathroom. Who wants to see themselves sitting on the loo. Why do you also not provide a mirror with a 3 pin plug in a daylight position for the ladies. It is an Accur fault world wide.

Have emailed Novotel twice , little notice do they obviously take, WE NEVER GOT TO STAY due to our holiday being cancelled !!!!!!!!!!!!

Based on the Coronavirus situation the staff were brilliant. Bar was closed so we had room service which arrived very quickly. We were surprised when, on arrival, we were told to breakfast in the bar, however when we arrived at the bar in the morning a very helpful and cheerful member of your staff told us it was room service only and we had a lovely full English with all the trimmings and accompaniments We like this hotel - modern, nice staff providing great customer service.

My stay at your hotel was ok however I was expecting it to be to of a standard above basic hotels I have stayed in. Sadly this wasn’t the case. Maybe this was due to the work going on to the hotel or the standard of the quality of staff that work at this hotel or even due to the covid-19 issue the attitude of the staff should be professional at all the time no matter what. The best part of the stay was we did get a room with a view of the runway. Considering our stay overall I would have to think twice about booking a room at your hotel has I did feel on this visit you feel short on delivering a high standard just a basic service.

Check in was very slow. Bar service really slow...lots of servers but we had to flag them down to take our orders. The dining room was painfully slow. The servers could not seem to get the concept of separate checks. The room was pleasant and clean. I had an issue with booking.com. with my reservations...not Novotels problem but the front desk manager was very helpful. I really appreciated his help. Because of him I would definitely stay at Novotel again.
