I had a privilage room, so enjoyed the wonderful view of the coast, very spacious with a large comfy bed, hugeTV and great bathrrom. The Resturant did not meet the hotels own website requiements quote "locally inspired restaurant, serving a wonderful selection of dishes which encapsulates the very best which Devon and the English Riviera has to offer" One local fish only offered in the fish and chips dish, being the norm for this area. I would describe the menu as international cruisine. Either change the website or provide food as indicated? The dishes offered however were fine. Yes its a new menu but please supply as per the website, what ever it may be? Breakfast typical hotel fair but surprised the cold dishes were not covered to protect them from coughs etc. They were all open to the atmosphere. The hotel and sepecially the rooms are kept spotless by a great cleaning team and lastly the gardeners need a thanks too, there are many individual and beds of flowers, which all help to make for very pleasant and relaxing surroundings

The disabled room was on 4th view. Wonderful room and views. Problems with lift button on 4th floor. Had to walk down to 3rd and send lift up for my brother-in-law who is disabled. Restaurant. The food was good, but the menu is the same every day. We wanted to eat in and had problems varying diet. Outside it said Steak, but that had been withdrawn due to lack of demand. Dietery requirements. I was dairy intolerant, but because of lack of choice, ending up eating dairy. Most of the staff were good. At dinner Rudi was very helpful. In the morning, There was a lovely girl, with blue in her hair, who was ticking off bookings, but proactively helped me, because I was struggling.
