Check for coach parties. The bar and restaurant are more or less out of bounds. There must have been at least 60 in the party. A few other points. Not advised of any food options/room service Faulty Nespresso machine Sheets not changed - 7 Night Stay Thick dust behind night stand No instructions on how to use the air-con No hanging space. Taken up by ironing board and Iron No real storage space. Glasses and cups were just rinsed by housekeeping in the bathroom sink Why do housekeeping not make the bed. Also beware £15 a night to park your car in a carpark more suited to very small cars

I apologise for the lack of information about our food options and room service, and the issues with the Nespresso machine. This does not reflect our usual high standards, and we will address this with our team to ensure all guests are well-informed and that equipment is fully operational. The housekeeping oversights you mentioned, including the unchanged sheets, dust behind the nightstand, and improper cleaning of glasses and cups, are concerning. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we will address these points with our housekeeping team to prevent recurrence. Additionally, the lack of instructions for the air conditioning, limited hanging space, and inadequate storage space are issues we will take into consideration as we look to enhance our room features and guest information. Regarding the parking fee and the size of our car park, we understand this can be frustrating. We will aim to provide clearer information about alternative parking options nearby. Pleasant, helpful staff, very nice breakfast to start the day, hotel spotlessly clean, massive bed, superb comfy pillows. A great base to explore the southwest. On-site parking is a bit of a lottery. Park on seafront for £4 less than hotel. Would be 5 if it wasn’t in Paignton.

Nice Hotel - Restaurant needs work

Booked 2 rooms for business. First morning stood at sign waiting to be seated, no one ever came so I just took a seat and started getting breakfast. Coffee machine ran our of beans a few times but always had to ask for it to be filled up. Same with pastry items, butter, toast. Lots of people running around tidying up, needed someone in charge keeping and eye on guests, ensuring everything is topped up. Breakfast was poor quality and felt cheap. For a 4 star hotel very disappointed. The hotel as a whole was lovely and rooms were great.
