Comfortable bed, nice staff, but lacking in amenities for a 4-star hotel ie functioning aircon, conditioner, iron was attached to board making it hard to properly iron clothes, carpet in room needs a professional clean, gym is not well set up and awkward to use when multiple people are in there. No space for 2+ people to even use the weights.

For a newly renovated hotel the beds definitely were not upgrade the bed we had was very creaky and uncomfortable seems like the bed had been there for many years without being updated The aircon didn’t work it just made a noise no air came out of it so it made the room really hot we had to have cold showers during the night to keep cool, we didn’t say anything as our stay was short of we were there any longer I would have said something so it could be fixed The staff in the restaurant hadn’t a clue what they were doing seemed like it was their first day or had never worked in a restaurant before The only nice thing about our stay was the lady that checked us in gave us a free drinks voucher which you do not get in any other hotel If I could request a refund I would due to the very uncomfortable bed and the aircon not working on 2 very hot days

The hotel was in the perfect location for my stay, taking part in the London Marathon it was close to underground’s to get to Greenwich (just a short walk to Southwark station) and within walking distance from the finish line, with a stop for a burger on the Southbank. The room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Shower room was excellent. The only area lacking was the refreshments, very little in the fridge, and lack of teaspoons for hot drinks. Neither were a problem big enough for me to raise, just observations. I love this hotel and will stay again, it’s our go to for any trip to the city
