Only stayed one night but the hotel was nice and clean and very friendly service.

Quirky, modern hotel in a fantastic location. Great rainforest shower, comfy bed and plenty of room. The only downside was the thermostat didn’t seem to work.

The only issue I had was that I was not recognised as a Gold Reward Member and was therefore not offered any if the benefits I.e drinks voucher, room upgrade etc.

We found the hotel location ideal, not far from the River and amongst great amenities. The young staff members were particularly welcoming and friendly; this made a huge difference to us so well done! We recommend this hotel unreservedly.

Very convenient hotel for Tate modern and the Globe. Overall the reception staff and breakfast staff are absolutely fantastic and really cannot be faulted in any way. However when it comes to servicing the room it is a totally different matter. On our recent stay there was continuing problems every day. We stayed for over a week and the floor was never cleaned or surfaces wiped even where we made the tea or coffee unless we complained about, which we had to do continually. The front desk staff took it seriously and communicated with the room staff - they would do it after a complaint but the next day would be just the same. They also made the bed so it looked good on top, but the bottom sheet was always rucked up so we had to remake it every night. Not really good enough for a 4 star hotel. One night we came back to the room and couldn’t find the remote control for the television. We looked everywhere and couldn’t find it, but when we came to go to bed they had thrown the covers over it! Such a shame that for such a friendly hotel the cleaning staff let them all down. Think overall they need a refurbish as everything in the rooms was a little tired and the carpets seemed quite old and stained in several places. For some reason they have stopped leaving face flannels in the bathroom which was a disappointment.

My stay was the evening of Saturday 8th Feb 2020. I work close by and had to also work the next day too. Storm Ciara made it difficult for me to travel home. I dropped in to the hotel and the man on the front desk that evening was extremely helpful, friendly and understanding. He empathised with my situation and he also upgraded my room to ensure I was comfortable. I really appreciated that help in a difficult situation for me. I don't know his name, but would like to commend him and say 'thank you'.

Initially checked into a room on the top floor which smelled terrible like something died in a pipe. They quickly found me a new room which was perfect.

Excellent location just behind Tate Modern, several food shops and eating places nearby, 5 min. walking to two tube stations, within walking distance of National Theatre, Old Vic, New Vic & Globe. Friendly stuff, clean and tidy rooms, rich breakfast.

Good location for cafes, bars, Restaurants (borough market 6/7 mins - but similar to nearest tube), funky and friendly, but reception (desk in the middle of the floor!) empty a lot. Comfortable, spacious room, well insulated, and great bed.
