The pictures show a modern, stylish hotel, which it perhaps was when opened but it felt worn out and not quite as fresh and bright as the pictures show. I appreciate an airport hotel has a high footfall but people staying before or after a flight still deserve a well kept up hotel to rest in. We arrived late and the room was very cold, I rang down to the reception, there was no reply so went down and the reception and the person was there, I said I had tried to call, to which there was no response, so I am unsure why they didn't answer the phone? They informed me that it would take 20 minutes to warm up - the room never warmed up and was very cold when we woke in the morning for an early start. It was advertised as there was enhanced cleaning and I didn't feel it was clean eg the light switches had finger prints on them, the refreshment box smelt of vinegar, the kettle lead had brown sauce all over it, the handle was sticky, telephone had splash marks all over it and the carpet had so many swirly colours in it I wasn't sure what was pattern and what were stains?

Easy check-in. Room very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and very good quality and reasonable food and drink. I have stayed here a few times before and it always exceeds my expectations. Bus 423 from LHR will take you to just outside the hotel for free.

I had good transportation to Terminal 5 from close by. The PUB resturant also close had good food also.

Rude reception staff, no notification breakfast was not being served as normal on booking, substitute “grab and go” breakfast inadequate, no answer at reception multiple times when ringing from room, bar food not of good quality
