Booked through Holiday Extras. Parking on site you park your car and head up to reception. Check in was so easy and quick staff very helpful and professional. The room was very clean and quiet. We had every thing we needed. We headed to the bar for a pre dinner drink very nice although very over priced. Dinner was very good cooked well at the cooking station in front of you. Recommend the Chicken Butter curry. Only down side is the prices. We booked the meal deal through the booking company which was £30 a head for a 3 course meal. If you pay at the hotel it can be double this. A very comfortable sleep. Check out was quick and easy. I have only given it 4 stars due to the prices.

From the moment we arrived at the door, we were given a really welcoming reception. The staff were all lovely and we were made to feel very safe given the current circumstances. The room was huge and we had a really good nights sleep (unusual for us before a flight!). We would always return to the Sofitel when flying from Heathrow.

Excellent room. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Disappointed with the menu both in the evening and breakfast. I am a vegan and only had 1 option dinner and could only have fruit at breakfast. This is definitely not good value considering the cost for breakfast.

Beautiful hotel, within walking distance to the terminal and shops (M&S) if you need to escape for a walk. Staff are extremely friendly and go above expectations. Excellent measures in place to tackle Covid. Overall 10 out of 10

I came and stayed on the 27th August - I paid for a classic standard and was upgraded to a room on the 5th wing - and it was LOVELY - it was so nice that when I opted to stay in the Sofital for my return trip to London I asked for the same room and paid the added £50 for that upgraded room. When I got there I was told I was being upgraded again to a room on the 6th Wing...the only difference I could see in the room was that instead of one leather chair there were two! ;-) - but the huge disappointment was that the air con vents were so loud during the course of the night - it didn't stop me from sleeping - just annoying when watching tv. Restaurant was great - on my first trip I went to the restaurant which I felt was really expensive - second trip I went to the bar - which was more reasonably priced - sadley the breakfast of waffles was cold :-(

We had a two-night stay before our flight. The location is perfect for those using Terminal 5, and there was a M&S available 24/7 which we found very handy. During this difficult time, usual services were not quite available, but we had a pleasant stay throughout. Thank you very much!

Club lounge experience wasn’t the best, but we accept that Covid has required some changes, so we were okay with that. However, we were very let down by room service. No menu (again, understood - Covid). A limited menu was sent to the room and we chose a burger (£18). There was no drinks list, so when phoning our order in, I asked for a bottle of House red. The wine arrived, and then the burger, and both were delicious. We used the express service at check out, and when I received the emailed invoice, I was shocked to see that room service had cost us £83.25 - for one burger and what was requested as a house red. What has then pushed my review score down further is that I’ve emailed the hotel directly to ask for an explanation, and then, when I got no response, through Booking.com. Still no response. Very disappointing because the room itself was lovely, worth the upgrade to club, and we’d been commenting that we’d definitely stay again...

Great location. Good restaurant that was not closing at rediculous o'clock. Good comfy beds. Reasonably good shower but bath too narrow and short. No shower cap. No coffee pod machine.

I have often stayed but was disappointed- no robes in the bedroom and all the nice stuff stripped. All in the name of Covid - I don’t think so, this is cost cutting. The restaurant was really poor, we waited 90 mins for our order on a reduced menu. Clear lack of management.

The breakfast was outstanding , However the room was not . The bed mattress is horrible and I woke up with severe back pain . the mattress springs were ruined and I don't understand why you keep such mattress in rooms.
