I had a complex schedule to keep with many different moving parts and having all the information was critical to making sure everything went smoothly. Svutlana was very knowledgeable and keen to share information to help me make the decision to stay at Sofitel. She made sure my requests were detailed into our reservations and that meant not having to worry about making other arrangements due to uncertainties. Another reason for the high score was that this particular hotel partnered with a test lab to provide the rest and test package which was also a big comtributor to us flying out of the UK. Will definitely recommend to friends, family and anyone else who isn't sure!!

A review is perhaps unfair given the C-19 restrictions in place. What I can say is that very clearly client and staff care is a huge priority and this is reflected in the systems and processes in place. This was hugely reassuring. The marking is a reflection of limited access to communal areas and restaurants etc; all completely understandable.

Beautiful hotel with great airport access although i did find finding the hotel from the terminal a little difficult to start with. Friendly team. Room was very excellent just a shame that all the amenities were closed due to Covid. I was also upgraded free of charge to a larger room which was greatly appreciated.

We checked in because BA had not allowed us to board our flight in time so we got bumped to the next day. This also meant we had to get new COVID tests done. When we checked in the staff were excellent and offered us a package that include a COVID test done overnight. They made the entire experience extremely smooth and efficient. Would definitely stay again.

My existing reservation at another Heathrow hotel was canceled. This was the perfect substitute - newest to T5. So much nearer and top quality service and accommodation. Extra bonus was early checkin and late checkout so you can really spend time here relaxing, not just a night.

The room was adequate and the location made things easy, parking was safe and reliable. My overall experience although satisfactory was marred by the constant banging noises from above which made it difficult to sleep soundly.

Whilst the upgrade was welcome, the room aircon failed in the middle of the night which made sleeping difficult. We had lots of luggage and despite asking for assistance at check-out this failed to materialise so we had to lug 7 suitcases ourselves. We mentioned our issues to the manager on duty who said we could have moved rooms in the middle of the night which is far from ideal. A very modest gesture of points was offered as an apology.

We always try to stay overnight before we fly because it banishes the stress of driving and flying on the same day. Accor has finally made this great airport a really agreeable place and eat (ah Belle Epoch, we miss you). Covid has been a blight but Accor still makes our flights to Paris or Bordeaux more comfortable. Later this year it will be China and Japan. Live beautifully.

Everybody worked extremely hard to ensure I was safe, and everything was geared to dealing with the virus, with special attention to make sure guests were fed and watered. The hygiene was top priority and it worked well to make my visit great.
