An excellent hotel with delightful & very helpful staff in every department, from reception, to the coffee lounge, restaurant, housekeeping & porters. Nothing is too much trouble. As we stay in the hotel 4 or 5 times a year when passing through London, we always eat in the restaurant &, there are always a few changes to the menu.

As a manual wheelchair user, travelling with an assistance dog..the room allocation top floor, furthest corner and distance from reception was the Absolute deal breaker for me. I struggled throughout my stay and had to make two trips to T5 with bags.

This is a well-appointed hotel and we enjoyed our stay here very much. It's as good a hotel as we've ever stayed in at an airport. Rooms are nicely sound proofed.

I regularly stay at the Sofitel LHR T5 prior to a flight whether from T5 or another terminal. My preference is always for a larger room and occasionally I am happy to pay for Lounge access.

Friendly, efficient welcome, quiet, spacious room with very comfortable bed and nice bed linen. We stayed in a luxury room and enjoyed the afternoon tea, evening drinks and canapés, and breakfast in the Club Lounge. All good and breakfast was excellent. The staff from check in to checkout and everything in between were outstanding, professional and beyond helpful in all cases. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Heathrow Terminal 5 Sofitel for one night prior to an early flight recently. We have pre-paid so check-in was quick and easy. The room was very comfortable and quiet. And, best of all, the next morning all we had to do was walk over the bridge to the terminal.

As an Accor member for many years standing and having stayed at the Sofitel Heathrow for a number of years, I am afraid that my last experience has left a very bad taste! Normally as I am catching an early flight I book a standard room which has always been very satisfactory. On this occasion as our flight was not until the afternoon and it was our wedding anniversary I booked a "Luxury Club" room the purpose of which was to check-in, have a drink in the club before retiring. We checked in at 20.00hrs only to find the club empty and no food or alcoholic drinks available! This cannot be correct in a hotel of your standing, certainly I have never come across such a situation in any of your other group hotels. I feel cheated and most disappointed that having paid and extra £70+ to enjoy our first night of our trip, that this should be the case and I am looking for a gesture on your part to compensate!

I have now had the opportunity to investigate your comments and speak to the relevant department managers. I am disappointed to ready that due to late arrival you couldn’t enjoy the treat in the Club Millesime. The lounge remains open until 10 PM however we have set timings for our food and drink selections. Our evening canapes and alcoholic beverages are served from 5.30 to 7:30 PM, the lounge remains open for soft drinks and hot drinks until 10 PM. I am sorry if you felt this was not worthwhile and we will certainly look into how we can make these details clearer during the booking process. I have already shared your feedback to reservation Manager who will instruct all the agents to send information about opening time to all of our guest who booked room with access to Club Millesime. It is in our hope you will give us a new opportunity to better serve you in the future. As a gesture of apologies and goodwill, I would like to offer you a complimentary upgrade to one of our Luxury room with access to Club Millesime on your future stay. Also, in case you arrive after 7:30 pm, we would be more than happy to offer you extra drink vouchers that can be used in our Sphere Bar. I enjoyed the room and venue but I had to send 6 different meals back and had really difficulty at breakfast as a vegan. I know we aren't the easiest to cater for but some sort of indicator on my name card at dinner would have been helpful so that waiters didn't keep making the same mistake. I was made to feel like I was really inconveniencing the staff at breakfast because I kept having to ask what everything contained as the food wasn't appropriately labelled.

The one thing that drives me crazy about your hotel is no plugs by the bed. I’ve stayed there numerous times but I think I will not stay again as the rooms are too dark and there are no plugs by the bed.

Decent room, convenient location. Felt a bit like we were eating and celebrating in a corridor the room we had the conference in during the day would have been much better for evening entertainment. You need a breast milk storage policy, I was told to keep my room and put it in mini fridge, then housekeeping cleaned the room and removed it. luckily I was reunited with it, but I caused stress and the milk was left unrefrigerated for a period of time.
