The hotel is very conveniently located at terminal 5 Heathrow. The rooms are nice, clean and well maintained. The reception staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is very good, sumptuous. The morning service is amazing. The guy who makes omelettes is so cheerful. Our sever Kamaljit was so nice and very pleasant. Only issue is the dinner at the restaurant. The food is subpar and service is poor. It becomes too crowded. So the service suffers. Even if you reserve table you still have to wait in line to get the table.

Superb hotel, best location right at T5. They have an excellent restaurant, bit pricy but good and worth the stay to catch a flight the next morning to take away the anxiety.

Excellent choice if flying out of T5

Stayed here before our BA flight out of T5. Instead of our usual driving to airport and leaving car for the duration, we took the train/tube to Heathrow and stayed at the Sofitel. Convenient, comfortable, okay food in the restaurant. Easy walk to departures, and as we dropped our checked bags off the night before, starting at the Sofitel made for a pleasant morning. An extra little enjoyment was that as you come down the wide hallway leading from the busy airport into the covered tunnel leading to the hotel, there’s a lovely gentle spa fragrance in the air, carpeting, and it just feels lively and serene.
