Stay here regularly , staff are always very accommodating and friendly. They always go above and beyond to make sure we have a pleasant stay. Rooms are lovely , very spacious and beds are comfy. Bathrooms are clean and decor is nice. The hotel has recently had a refurb and looks fabulous inside now. Have never had an issue with cleanliness and for the price to stay there’s nothing to complain about. Great staff and pleasant rooms. The breakfasts are also delicious! And are great value for money.

An Underwhelming Stay I stayed here recently, and while the hotel was okay, I wouldn’t choose to stay again. The mattresses are very firm, so if you prefer a softer bed, you may not get a great night’s sleep. Later in the evening, we could also smell cigarette smoke drifting into our room, which was unpleasant. The room itself felt quite sparse and lacked warmth. On a positive note, the food in the restaurant was enjoyable. The pork belly was particularly good and a highlight of the stay. However, my main issue is with the hotel’s park-and-fly option. As an airport hotel, I was surprised they don’t provide a shuttle service. Instead, they arrange a taxi for you, which costs around £15, including a £5 airport drop-off fee. While convenient to arrange, it’s an extra cost and not something I’ve encountered at other airport hotels offering similar packages. To make matters worse, the lift wasn’t working on the morning we left. We had to carry our luggage down several flights of stairs, and when we mentioned this to the night porter, his response was indifferent—just a dismissive “okay.” Overall, there were too many inconveniences for me to consider staying here again.

The hotel was not what I expected. This had been booked through Holiday Extras as an airport hotel with pool and gym. These do not exist. Many booking sites are showing this hotel as having these facilities. The hotel said booking agencies had been informed of the lack of facilities and that reviews, including those on here showing a pool, could not be trusted. The man at reception was abusive to me several times when I was checking in. He repeatedly used offensive terminology after I’d pointed this out to him. The bedding in my room wasn’t clean. The clientele hanging around reception made me feel uncomfortable. As a woman on her own, the atmosphere was threatening and intimidating. Part of this was due to the man at reception as both the bar and d restaurant opened onto the reception area. Many people were eating their own takeaways, unusual for a hotel advertised as 4 star. The lift stank of cigarette smoke. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel. I did not feel safe in this hotel.
