We were caught up in reparation from Spain ,choosing this hotel at random. We were pleasantly suprised at this lovely hotel Good rooms ,immaculate and lovely furnished. Lovely friendly staff. Wholesome breakfast.Hopefully return after virus clears up

However the only two things that bothered me where the uncooked sausages raw in the middle and staff didnt care on morning one. Morning two they where perfect. And the super easily tippable tables in the bar that my 4 year old pulled a round of drinks over, we wernt offered replacements. Other than this two issues we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Staff were very understanding and accommodating of my dog who had just landed from Australia and was a bit out of sorts and loud! Accommodating me bringing him down for breakfast with me and sitting in the lounge area was very appreciated.

good stay. well located. excellent sleep. Only critisim would be the lack of lighting in the carpark. Needed to use torch to locate the steps and route to main entrance.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly staff who were quite knowledgeable in taking care of my needs and offering a great service. After getting my key/card I found it easy to find my room and then opened the door to a very excellent spacious room which was so fresh and very inviting and unbelievably clean and the new touches with the improved lighting and the Tv on the wall and also the free wifi is an essential added extra perk overall I would recommend the Newcastle Airport Novotel any day for any occasion keep up the good work..

It was a lovely stay apart from the fact that the fitness suite was not available. We had selected the hotel specifically for its fitness suite and this took a lot away from our enjoyment.

Once again we enjoyed our stay at the Novotel, the staff are always so friendly and helpful and the refurbishment has been done to great taste, we did have a problem with the sink and shower drains which were extremely slow draining, we have noticed this on several other visits to the hotel, it is probably something that has been overlooked in the refurb, but apart from that everything was just brilliant.

Room and cleaning staff excellent Wardrobe didn’t have hanging rail but was soon rectified The room needed a chest of drawers for non hanging cloths Bathroom could have done with shelf.

Although we only live an hours drive from Newcastle airport due to weather report of snow expected on the morning we were due to fly, we decided to play safe and stay closer to the airport. It turned out to be a good plan.

Excellent welcome from Steve as i arrived through the main front door. A very welcoming smile putting me at ease. Hotel has had a re- fit since my last visit. Very tastefully decorated throughout and warm. Bedroom was of a very good standard and very comfortable. Would definitely visit again.

Stay at Novotel Newcastle Airport

MrEScotland Solo travel - 03/01/2020 TripAdvisor review

Although there are some rooms still to be upgraded there has been a vast improvement on this hotel since the upgrades so far have been carried out. It is regretful however that the restaurant during my 4 night stay was only open on one occasion and strangely enough it was on the evening on which the Operations Manager was on duty. On the other evenings I reluctantly ate in the bar area. Guests don't appear to eat in the hotel but this could be due to the fact that the opening of the restaurant is so unreliable. This is a pity because the food was excellent. Breakfast was very good and the staff in the hotel are helpful and friendly.

Thank you for your review, Novotel Newcastle Airport is in its final phase of its £3 Million refurbishment which has seen air conditioning put in all guest rooms and public areas. The restaurant is normally open for all meals, but due to the festive season there was a reduced service We will relaunch as a 4 star hotel in the coming weeks I do hope you chose to stay with us at the Novotel Newcastle Airport in the future

The breakfast was great. But that was it. The rest of the stay was horrendous. A double bed Only in a family room with no bed for our child. The new shower leaked all over the floor. The meal at night was disgusting but they refused refund as 1 forkful was eaten. The pool was disgusting it had a brown tide mark around it. and the change rooms were really damp with plaster black and hanging off the walls. It was closed on 2nd day. It totally ruined our Christmas break. Staff were lovely unless you asked for help. I was told it was Christmas holiday time so they were running on a skeleton staff. This is the first time I have ever written a poor review over years of staying in hotels with work and family. Sort this out Accor!!!
