The staff are a credit to the hotel, however I’ve had to check out due to the lack of basics, no wi fi, a air conditioning unit that doesn’t work and maids that don’t know how to clean.

I had 2 rooms for 3 nights while we visited family in Newcastle. On our last night we had no hot water in both our rooms and the the day before water pressure in the shower was non existent. Not a very good stay.

I’ve used this hotel several times and always find the staff to be very friendly and welcoming, the hotel overall is well kept and clean, rooms are always very clean and beds very comfortable, my most recent visit was a Sunday and my only gripe was the reduced menu in the restaurant. There wasn’t much choice though we did both go for the pizza which was recommended by the waiter and to be honest they were very nice. But pizza isn’t normally something I would order but it was the only thing really available for me to choose.

I was on an overnight stay. The room was very clean , bed comfortable , bathroom also very clean with just a shower. Parking on site was very good . Check in and out was very efficient and staff helpful. I think a quiet sign could be put in place along the corridors when people are coming in after 11pm there was a few people who thought a loud conversation was appropriate.

As an Accor Gold member, I was disappointed with this stay. We booked two rooms for two nights, and one of the rooms wasn’t cleaned during our stay, which was disappointing. This was actually our third stay at this Novotel, and on our previous visits we always received two welcome drinks per room. This time, however, we were only given one welcome drink per room. We had also just stayed at Mercure Freiburg and Mövenpick Amsterdam, where two welcome drinks per room were also offered. I understand that welcome drinks are a small gesture, but as a loyal Gold member, I expect the benefits to be consistent—especially at the same hotel we’ve stayed at before. The inconsistency, together with the housekeeping issue, made this stay less enjoyable than our previous visits

This hotel ticked the box and was everything we needed for our trip. Unfortunately, the elevator was out of operation when we started which caused some issues with moving suitcases up stairs, however was just one of those things. We also tried to eat in the restaurant, but there was a reduced menu and they couldn’t cater for one of the party who was celiac which was also slightly disappointing as we had to go elsewhere for a meal. However, was good value for stay and parking before our flight.
