Waited 25 mins to be served at table, ordered a chicken burger. When arrived it was a beef burger. A different waitress then had the cheek to try and suggest that maybe I’d ordered a beef burger by accident. I explain that was absolutely not the case as the waitress taking my order asked which chicken burger I wanted and I had pointed to it on the menu. Half an hour after that when my friend had finished eating, the chicken burger arrived. It was so dehydrated and overcooked that I couldn’t even bite through it. It was rock hard and I pulled it open to show my friend, it was all hard bread crumbs. I sent this back and have never sent food back before in my life. The room was mediocre at best, the shower just ran on to the back wall without projecting into the shower, I had an orange/brown stain on my fitted sheet. Granted it looked and smelled washed but looked like an old washed blood stain. Not the most pleasant. And when we woke up my friend was going to make us a brew only to find the tea tray was completely devoid of any teabags etc and just had an empty pot. Granted, when my friend asked if we could have some tea making facilities someone did bring up a couple of tea bags and a pot of milk but it seemed quite an overpriced stay and think we’d have had better quality and service at a Premier Inn. Sorry but that’s an honest review.

No room on arrival

I was travelling with a colleague and had already checked in - the booking was clear that there would bec2 people with 2 rooms booked. When my colleague tried to check in later she was told there was no room available for her and was relocated to another hotel. The customer service was poor with an apology only being given 10 minutes into the situation. My colleague had no car, did not know the area and this was nearly 9pm at night.
