Everything was ok except the evening meal experience. We didnt know there was a separate restaurant tucked round the corner so had to eat in the bar area. Noisy and full of teenagers. We asked a couple of staff but no one signposted us to the restaurant area. We were just told to sit anywhere. After waiting for a while we realised we had to order at the bar. We had the wrong menu handed to us and were told we either had to have food off the dining menu or the bar menu but couldnt mix things up. As a vegetarian this was disappointing as the veg options were weak on the half board deal. The room and everything else was fine - needs updating but clean - but I wouldnt eat there again. We also had to ask where breakfast was served. Still no idea the next morning where to go. Signage could do with being improved or staff not assume we could find the restaurant. I was also then mistakenly billed for the meal on top of the prepaid half board deal. Money returned now and staff apologetic but I hope you can see why it wasnt the best expereince

I can confirm that your table had been booked in the restaurant at your preferred dining time; however, I am very sorry that this was not communicated clearly, which understandably led to confusion during service. Your comments regarding signage and clearer guidance from the team are extremely valuable and will be reviewed internally with both the Front Office and Food & Beverage teams. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the vegetarian options available within the half-board package and understand your disappointment with the limited choices offered. I am pleased to hear that the incorrect meal charge has since been refunded and that the team apologised for the error. We are also grateful to hear that you found the room clean and that the remainder of your stay was comfortable overall. The grounds and the hotel itself are beautiful. Was quite impressed with the lobby and bar area - quite nice. The room however let it down. Very old and the facilities need a revamp. We got there and there were underwear and socks left in one of the drawers by previous guest! We were offered a free drink at the bar but doesn’t feel like compensation enough. Didn’t let it ruin my stay tho. Overall happy but wouldn’t come again probably.

Our room was OK , surprised this hotel has no air conditioning. Our room was on second floor and was boiling, the small refrigerator was giving out a lot of heat too. We asked to move rooms but unfortunately they could not accommodate us. As a result none of my family members slept well and it spoiled the activities we had planned with our son. Would not be returning to this hotel. Only good thing was the breakfast and decent shower.
