Lisa on the reception desk was friendly, and we were very happy with our large, well appointed room at a quiet end of the building. The breakfast was plentiful and with a good choice. We were disappointed with the evening meal ... took a long time arriving and then looked and tasted like it had been sitting in a bain marie to keep it warm.

Our stay wasn’t too bad however on checking out we realised the door card had 2 free drinks on it that we would gladly have redeemed the evening before but weren’t told about. When we questioned the receptionist she said she did tell us however I listened to her check in speech 3 times due to the queue and there was absolutely no mention of this. The other wedding guests also could not recall any mention. Also the plug in our sink was stuck in meaning we had a sink of dirty water by the time we left. Not good. Another couple we were there with also had the same problem.

No attention to detail, family room booked no bed for the child made up or any sheets, pillow etc for me to make it either. No bath towels available as were waiting for emergency supplies. Had to wait until the next day to get some! breakfast was chaos on the first day, again no attention to detail, no plates, no bowls, no yoghurts (we were down at 8.30am) no explanations, no please or thank you, staff hardly spoke. There was no direction. it could be so good. I worked in wedding/event hospitality for years so I know what I`m talking about. On a positive note Lisa on Reception was lovely and very helpful, I needed to know about the local Park and Ride and she had the answers.

This is the second nurcure hotel we have stayed in. They are claiming it's a 4 star?. We think just like the last one it's a three no where near a four The room we had was lovely so was the girl on reception however when we arrived she said pur room is not ready so you will have to wait 20minutes for it to be cleaned?.that's pretty quick to clean a room as she called for a cleaner to do ours next. If you won't WiFi forget it is rubbish full stop. Bed was ok so was breakfast just ok. Would we go back ? Think we would try somewhere else
