We moved rooms after check in due to heating not working in original room. All staff were friendly and approachable and helped to sort the situation. We had to move again after the first night as the room we were in was booked. It delayed our visit a bit having to wait around but all ended up OK. Didn't realise about restaurant service charge till after paying with it at the bottom of receipt, I missed it when looking at the items to check they were right. Would have preferred the choice to add it. Breakfast was a little slow to replace items but managed table OK both days.

The hotel was full of old charm. Beautiful stair case and foyer. Room was clean. Bed a little hard for my liking but ok. Breakfast was great. Staff very professional but friendly.

Lovely hotel especially in public areas. The room however was in need of quite a bit of TLC - dated decor and fixtures/ fittings in need of repair.

Breakfast excellent. Ganesh was very helpful. Cleaning poor. Toiletries left in a heap. Incapable of refilling tissues even though asked twice. Received a very rude ,curt email from John.
