Super stay. Great location and a very friendly welcome. Breakfast fresh and good quality produce. Bed very comfy and we slept well. The room itself (219) could do with a refurb as was very dated but it was clean. Easy drive into York. The pub down the road is not worth a visit as it is understaffed at the moment though I had heard great reviews beforehand. Also you have to walk through a lay-by to get to it and this unnerved me as it seemed unsavoury activity may be taking place!!! No fault of the hotel though!! All in all we had a fabulous stay and will recommend to others

Good comfort able rooms but problem experienced wth paying using Accor points

Requested an accessible room for my father, if possible. He was allocated a room with a shower over the bath and no handles or safety bars to assist. Luckily he didn't fall but wouldn't stay at the hotel again. In terms of hotel, clean, quiet, good location, good food but safety for showers would stop me staying here again.

Great location nice hotel lovely staff and the food is amazing.

Our 4th stay and definitely recommend Fairfield Manor for location, close to York, friendly staff good rooms and good food. We tend to leave the car in the carpark and catch the bus into York, the bus stop is right outside the hotel.
