We stayed overnight as we were attending a concert in Roundhay Park the room was lovely - reception staff were very helpful and polite - food in the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast - we did have a scary experience in the lift which stopped suddenly and lost power for a while - the reception staff were extremely concerned and lovely and were sorting the issue as we checked out - would highly recommend.

When we dropped our bags off the guy on reception was really nice and helpful. When we came back to check-in at 3pm the 2 girls on reception did not look up as we entered, neither of them was busy with other guests, we had to get their attention. No smiles or friendly greeting - very disappointed and first impressions count. The room was nice and clean, however, the shower had hair all over the wall which I had to clean off and put down the loo. Not an issue as the rest of the room was OK.
